Thanks, this made me laugh. I went out for the first time yesterday with my new angled viewfinder and 100 mm lens and came home frustrated from trying to find my subject. It will take some getting used to and I will hand in there I guess.
Thank you Adam and Alex for informative episode. I fully agree that magnifying view finder is worth of money. I have had one now in 3 different housungs. I loved my 45 degree viewfinder from day one and cannot think to go back to hausing's original viewfinder. I just yesterday moved the viewfinder from older SLR housing to new mirrorless full frame one and a try run was encouraging. Looking forward for testdive.

How do these hold up/compare to an offboard monitor now that the price of these (with housing) is getting close to being almost affordable?
It does depend on your use, but I prefer optical viewfinders. As yet, I haven't found a monitor or EVF that has the dynamic range that my eyes have!
