I know right? Every time she's in a musical, her singing is on point. But then I've seen her singing her own songs, from Disney or from her band, and her voice is more shaky. She thrives on stage!

jordan bayless I love dove but there are a lot of actors who don’t love each other that show romantic chemistry in movies or shows or musicals lol. It is possible to act it out well
jordan bayless yeah but there are auditions where actors have to do that together to see if they have chemistry which a lot of people are able to act. It is possible but I guess just some people don’t show that romantic chemistry as well as other actors

Loved the voices preferred the movies choreo tho; I liked how they interacted the song into the choreo which didn't happen hear;
+Vanessa Göbharter well, they only had less than a week to really learn everything which is why choreo and stuff is kept pretty simple

Honestly, I see someone saying they didn't rehearse a lot, so that definitely has to do with it... but also, remember, this is a live performance. In the movie, they were dancing along to their prerecorded track, not singing, so they could do much more dance moves and not worry about messing up the vocals or making them shake.

She did ultra-competitive show choir when she was in high school. Her high school's choirs always win and I know because my show choir competes in the same divisions as her old high school.
I saw this live. Got too excited during the “If you change your mind…” lyric for Take a Chance on Me, clapped and “whooped” before I realized nobody else was inclined to do so and accidentally made the cast take a long applause break. Steven Weber was playing Bill, and I swear to god he looked pissed 🤣 also not the first time I accidentally incited an applause break during a performance, though they’re never intentional lol
