Ronnie at the time did not realize he was sitting in a Superior 4WD then his money dumped 79😂😂
Well done Dave and Ronny. Great video. Heaps of info on this beast of a 4wd.
good stuff, Enjoyed the Passion Dave has for his Patrol, Thanks Ronnie and crew.
Love the Y62 Patrol, thanks for posting Ronny
Love how well those bumpers integrate. Very well done
great watch ronny, dave enjoyed it the Y62 is a weapon
Its great fun making our battle series videos together with Dash offroad, nice work bud
Nissan all the waw...👍...
Lol. Which ever camp your from as long as we have fun that’s all that matter. 👍👍👍👍
Ture that...All 4B people are the best no matter what u drive, well sort of, anyway Nissan...❤🍻👍...
Lmao. Gotta bat for A team I guess.
All good bra...Your Toy...Toya...Tuyta...sorry can't spell it ...Isn't too bad ...🤪...
If you want to see more on my Y62 be sure to check ou my TH-cam, FB, and Insta. Happy watching, yeah yeah!
That truck is so massive the 35's look like 30's
fredbrackely
Y62 patrols need 40s or 42s to make the tires look massive.
@Brad Młodystach what do you mean hardly any clearance. The diff clearance on ifs + irs 4wds is a heap more than a solid axle 4wd..
Ryan Lennon I think he might be referring to the clearance between the body and ground and not the diff itself.
@@ryanlennon6269 i think 60mm more than Lc200 standard ground clearance
Love yer work you two.
Don’t think there’s anyone who knows more about a Y62 than David Dash. Great video!
Modified first,then 4wd action.
Ha ha ..!! Same ..!!!!😝😝😝
Yep same 😂😂👍
Ned Kelly .... So where you guys from ...???? I'm ACT ...!!!!
Harvey wa
punchbowl nsw
Great plug for Jakem farm. My home turf👍👍👍
Well thought out and nice car
& in the UAE we love you Ronny LOL. Love your channel & the Australian passion for offroading. Huge respect to you guys
I love this car. If I had to buy a Nissan I would go for this exact one
They sound awesome! Ugly duckling without the bar work but I love it set up like this!
Beautiful rig! 😍
Oh love that massive pleasant interior...Thumbs up for NISSAN.
Outstanding job thanks
Dont even think of going to HID driving lights the lights you have are the best
Would be awesome to have a park like that in Perth 👌🏽
Awesome rig 👍
Good work mate
Nice one boys 👍
Great rig! 👍👌
Interesting that a kick out isn't the norm for sliders in Australia. Yet in the United States almost all manufactures of sliders have a kick out, even much larger than the one in the video. It helps tremendously!
Hahaha I’m going to use that line “if you’re gonna have pony’s you need to feed them”
needs a harrop super charger ,nice vid ronny
Do a modified episode of an Isuzu dmax Ronny
I just need to find one
Now Dash is more popular than this Toyota loving channel😂😂
disclaimer, iv had my STL Y62 when this episode streamed, brah now look at Y62 market🤯
hows it more popular? less subs..
Love the youtuber colabs ronny, cant wait to see the bnb truck!
Cut the cable ties my OCD is killing me😂 great setup tho
Dashoffroad definitely flipped my opinion on the Y62 and IRS.
Beautiful rig ..
Hey Ronnie, great interview....i know hes got some gear on his but just to keep things real, my series 4 has only 5k on the clock with an average fuel consumption of 15.3 L/100.. 5 days on straddie in the sand got it up to 16.8 average including towing bogged cars and jetskis out. (By the way kaymar rear tow points are definitely up to the task). Just towed my 19ft junco to north coast averaged 16 including rainbow beach run..without van. This is all with the standard 33s and a lead foot.
I hated these new patrols when they came out. Petrol, auto and ifs front and rear. But this guy's done a lot of good work with what he had. Congrats man.
no, you can get them in a manual from the factory but its a special order tho and of you ask how I know its because I have one in a manual beast in the desert dunes
@@mrdarknessgames1 in Australia they're all autos And sands about all the independent suspensions good for off road
Jacob Bandman the reason they took the independent suspension was comfort really but also off-road. And the autos just suck in the sand dunes you can’t lower the gear or lower it fast enough and you feel like there no power with autos compared to the manual plus I remember seeing a Australian with a manual y62 once in TH-cam he was filming near the beach dunes
Episode 62 for the y62 😍
Nice vid, you two need to go on a trip together. Who was that handsome bloke in the GQ that flogged you in the winch challenge?
Dash off-road 👍🏼
Kings double swag in the back seat of my triton.
Do a modified episode on a Pajero spot Ronny.
You should do a reaction video to the new Tacoma and the GMC Canyon. They are looking pretty sweet
GPS and Radio antenna might be in the wing mirrors like the Amarok.
Please do LC 150 Prado
Do a modified episode of a Isuzu NPS 4X4 Ronny
When he wants to launch to the sky, he would put the gear in the reverse then pull the switch to the right.
Nice video,,,, the Patrol may be better value for money but l think l will stick with my hungry old Prado,,,,, total reliability wins with me at the end of the day.
When you were talking about the battery, you mentioned something you did not know before and you were referring to the positive finger of the battery. Do you explain more to us this information that you did not know before?
Is there a link or description for the airbag valve covers?
They have stopped selling them in the UK and totally gutted as I really wanted one!!!
The UK seems to think 2L engines with 300hp is the way to go. So... Enjoy the maintenance on those things
Any info on the telescoping rear light mount? I’ve been looking for a telescoping light mount for ages!
HivePhoto I made it myself sorry
This guy really loves his truck
My ‘05 Ford Excursion 6.0 Diesel. Carries 8 adults fridge and whatever else I need. Runs on 35” Mickey Thompson’s zero cares about weight. Just because he asked what else can do it.
I am in the US and have the Infiniti QX80 with HBMC. Does your patrol have HBMC?
I am looking for a lift kit for my QX80 with HBMC. Do you have a link to a complete set for such a lift on a Patrol with HBMC? I am hoping it will fit on my QX80.
So a Y62 Patrol is known as an Armada in the US. Which is a decent size here, but no one has done this kind of work.
Did you say that they could fit 900mm drawers behind the third row???
Ditch the tyre shine and put something useful in its place haha
Should have done 1 to 1 comparison with the 79 series. This car is everything 79 series isn't, ute vs wagon, full independent vs solid axle, diesel vs petrol, turbo vs NA for about same price range
This car can go any where
I would love to know where to get the reverse camera switch from. Does anyone know?
Ebay search reverse camera switch
I’d love to see a Toyota Fortuner if you can find one.
Can you get the front brush guard in the USA
So it was 298kw/400hp stock. What's it make with the tune?
Endurance V8 right?
Will definitely become an iconic car in the future
Nice work, that's a fat truck
Happy I bought a 76
Sorry to hear about that must be tough.

Lol
Brad Młodystach
Me! And everyone who enjoys sand dunes.
@Brad Młodystach I have a R51 Pathy, same basic platform as the Y62. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the intependant suspnsion off road. 95% of the off roading that is done can be done with one of these vehicles. Have a look underneath, they have a perfectly tucked drivetrain that sits level or above he chassis so they dont get hung up.
What I get a lot of is "how the fark did you get that up there???"
@Brad Młodystach just correcting bulshit from people who dont know thats all ;)
How many liters can you fit in the fuel Tank?
Really nice bull bar! Anyone knows where to find it? Maker?
Andrea Carugati www.dashoffroad.com.au
Добрый день, как называется фирма,которая изготавливает такие передние бампера и как называется модель этого силового бампера ?
Also 2” Tyre size upgrade and 2.5 inch lift isn’t legal in SA
colorado next please
Can anyone link me to the Intelligent 4WD system sheet he was talking about, can't find it anywhere
0:19 this is why Solid axle is better than independent suspension.
Dont need solid axles in a tourer when you have good traction control and diff locks.
I personally think Nissan shot themself in the leg when they cut off solid axle patrols and the td42 motor
Toyota also moved on from 1HD and solid axle.
Tristen Wakeford , Not wanting to offend or be rude, but have you spent much time in a good Independent suspension modern 4wd? There are very few instances where that extra of travel is needed (unless you are after a great action shot on a 4wd photo shoot). The motor in these things is something to behold, the td4.2 is not in the same universe. I think that the biggest problem with them off road is their size.
On-road handling and emissions are the reason neither of those are around
Also the fact that Australia is likely 1% of sales and were the only country that cares about having a diesel
Richard Moseley Have you ever stripped your rubber boots of you half shaft's?
Nice. Just curious has anyone converted one of these to the diesel Duramax or optimiser or what ever Brunswick do?
For the amount of money you pay for one of these things I highly doubt it, probably over a quarter of what this car is worth is the engine alone so
Following , I reckon this body on a GU chassis with a duramax v8
Brunswick’s are outdated shite.
Why would you? What are those conversions worth? 30k? Thats a crapload of fuel you could pour down its throat......
Yeah true. Or the 5ltr from the titan
298 kws , that's got to be great
It is. Then you can chip it, or even supercharge it if you want.
It’s like driving and LS3 commodore. Anywhere you bloody well like.
Someone needs to do this to a Nissan Armada in the USA. The Nissan Armada is the American Patrol.
32L/100 km (with van) Furk me. Do ya work in oli & gas mate?
yeah thats lots, i have a series 4 62 and my all time average is 15.1. Dont know how to use that much. and towing my 19 ft junco just this weekend averaged 15.3. im confused. highway travelling 10-11 l/100. love mine.
@@OzPatrol66 or your just telling lies to make them sound decent
My series 4 averages 18 in town and 12 highway (AT 34’ tyres, 2’ lift and bull bar). People will believe what they want to believe.
Still cheaper over 10 years then the entry price of a LC200 Saharan of equivalent spec.
regards to the tyre comment 50mm over in S.A is a internet myth ,15 mm is max .
Can you do a duel fuel with lpg on these?
Yuck why would you want to
my big daddy delux fits on the back seats of my pajero
Gees my great aunt in her Tercel could have crossed that river....... 😉
That's just one of the roads going around the park, not part of a challenging track. It can be done with a Tercel.
they need to put a cummins v8 in this thing
I LOLed at the fuel economy switch.
What’s a pertol engine
Do a product review of amalia ronny 😊
then show us a review of Torbs what a rig
these headlights need to be pulled apart and painted black along with the front chrome grille ! this thing would look mean as hell
Nice rig ... Yeah nah on the IRS though
Dont knock it until you try it.
2:29 “Pertol” Patrol 😂
As soon as it lifted a wheel in that intro, I thought yup, they've fucked the patrol name
y62 suv
y61 2.8 TANK...
28 to 32L per 100km's towing, my god thats an expensive car to run.
That's a huge caravan, big tyres and lots of extra weight. Permanent four wheel drive... Lots of passengers, batteries, solar etc etc.
Compare maintenance and starting purchase price to a Landcruiser. The extra fuel cost won't even surpass it. Very underrated. If it worried you that much, get a custom tune, air intake with snorkel, custom headers to improve midrange torque, race catalytic converter (or remove it) and drive normally. Put standard diameter tyres on....
Keep your fuel filters clean, plugs fresh and vvl system working properly...
With the resale value and fuel economy I’d personally stick to an LC200. Not taking away anything from this great rig but that fuel economy figure was astonishing. I really think Nissan missed the mark with a petrol v8, if it were a turbo diesel like the land cruiser I would say that sales would be far greater.
my mate tows a 3.5 tone boat and gets 35L per 100
I have a stock 2018 Y62 and get 12ltrs per 100 on long trips no van, around town 16-17 ltrs per 100, towing a 2.5t van around 20-25 sitting on 100km/h.
44:11 cheers
Is it me or is there to much going on in one car ?? Need a PHD to drive it but nice car
So this "Patrol" is now just a new Pathfinder. Just had a big facelift.
sirjolly81 hardly
Yep having owned a Pathfinder and a Patrol its certainly more like a big R51 than the Y61
Can't believe this is a 35" 🤦🏻♂️
300kw at the fly wheel buddy haha
Why is the gear stick on the other side
