At 3:30 i saw the sign board and all the names of places were in English and not in Urdu and i realised this Bahria is bring built only for rich English speaking Pakistanis and not common Urdu speaking Pakistanis...... Am from India and we do have English sign boards but the local language Hindi, Punjabi or Malayalam etc is always written on the sign boards so that even non English speaking people can use these places..... Pura Bahria ameer Burger logo k liye bna hai na ki common Pakistani k liye.... But still the place looks good in the video.... Very nice.....
I am from karachi but the thing is the apartment and house in bahria town is atleast 3 times cheaper than the karachi city. So basically it is build for middle class or lower middle class people. They can afford the houses here rather than the city.
@@mujji5416 Then I wonder why there are no Urdu sign boards..... Sab ko Burger bna k Urdu ko kyu ignore kar rahe hai..... Urdu Pakistan ki national language hai aur national language me to sign board hone hi chahiye na....
@@wish-ld9te han ya to ha. Pr maybe they will change in the future . Because bahria town is not even constructed 5 % yet. It is too big it may take decade's to fill the whole area up.Its still just the starting phase.
I am a Pakistani-American and been to BTK twice. I don't consider myself a 'burger'. In Karachi, the 'burgers' were generally the people from the locations like Defense and Clifton but even then that was a little too generalized label. From the looks of BTK, most people seem middle class. I think, due to the rampant street crimes and pollution etc in Karachi, people find BTK appealing. But, you are right, they should have worked on Urdu language signs as well: The common laborers and transportation workers are less likely to understand signs in English. BTK could have easily done the signs in two languages.
Brother I didn't realize that I will remember this actually I was stayed there for a few seconds I left the driving seat for my daughter after the stop she was driving. But anyway I will remember this and will never repeat that mistake. Thanks again.
Thank you for posting a great video. 🙂👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
