I absolutely love this thing. The height of the frame box is a bit obtuse which causes weird balance, I'm sure but that's not a complaint, t's just an observation. One thing is that I think that you put the rear brake as a foot pedal in the middle of the frame box. I'd reconsider and just convert it to a right hand hydraulic brake like you have for the front brake controlled by the left hand. Causes your body to be contorted as you drive it because you need to keep your right foot sort of hovering over that pedal. But I'm sure you know all this already. Have fun! Awesome video!
I think you installed the chain quick clip in the wrong direction. The open end should go the opposite direction of rotation, so it doesn't get snagged and pop off. 10:15 Looks like target fixation to me. lol
Pretty cool video! Found it every interesting that you used two drive chains, but I immediately understood it's to prevent chain slack because the drive motor & the swingarm pivot are not the same, so you made it the same with that mini chain. You deserve a lot more credit for your skills. 👍

Most of the work was done with welding and cutting using an angle grinder. The fork is the weak point of the project because I bought it directly, but the rest is built like a tank! And, yeah, it's a little over-engineered too 😅 but better to be too strong than not strong enough, right?

Looks like definitely the front suspension could be beefier and I would suggest putting a belly pan on it to protect that beautiful giant electric motoragain awesome work brother. I love it.
i love seeing well made stupid machines. Hat off my good sir. Please consider running it at higher voltages/discharge, this motor can do very much more if you feed it properly. :)

you should give this to a giant at like some kind giant awareness day I mean really soma a those cats are like 500 lbs but it would need to be 1 that was a bit athletic, I would be afraid they would hurt themselves if it were 1 that wasn't good on there feet

Looks super overbuilt, this thing will never break lol, though it would be neat if you managed to make it dual motor like most commercial high power scooters, really looks like your lacked a lot of torque at certain moments of your riding, the kind of thing that would never happen even with a 2000w dual motor scooter
Believe me, the motor is like a rocket. I lowered the RPM, acceleration, and torque to ride safely. What you see here is only about 45% of what this motor can actually do.

What kind of motor and controller are you using?
The 8.5kW 72V motor and controller are from an electric car, and I’ve made some modifications to use a hand throttle.
