I saw that town plaza when I went on the Universal Studios Tour. Of course it wasnt set up to look like 1955 during the tour. Just an average town plaza waiting to be dressed up for another movie.
@@MrZaratustra55 that is who I was saying should have used the Chordettes version instead. I wasn't criticizing you at all, as you were just playing what Zemeckis used in the film. Not sure what his reason was, but the fact remains that the Chordettes version is obviously superior.
Maybe zemeckis likes this version better, maybe he personally is more nostalgic for this one over the other one. Personally I enjoy this version a tad more.

My father loved this scene. He was 15 years old in November 1955 and this part made him very nostalgic for his teen years.

Should have used the Chordettes version, as it is clearly much better.
I just used the same version that Robert Zemeckis chose for his movie. Surely he had a good reason for doing it.
