I just love your energy. I have been scoping out your mood boards. We live on the outskirts of Tampa. Spring Hill to be exact. We have a Mediterranean home with the arches inside and tray ceilings. I love those open spaces because I decorate A LOT! I can put vignettes everywhere and not clutter my house. We are getting ready to turn one of our guest rooms into an office/library. We both work from home. I want dark and moody.

Well going for major joy in 2025❤ we are moving into my dream home next week. I am so excited this house is more transitional then my current home which more contemporary. Color changes from gray to a more warmer shade of greige/taupe and bringing in some sage and eucalyptus greens.

I haven’t been able to get a job but that’s not stopping me doing design projects. I’ve finished turning my lamps into a stone look and updating Christmas baubles and vases. I went foraging for pine cones the other day and hit the jackpot. I think I’m going to design my garlands and wreaths during the year so they’re ready to go in December. My goals for this year are to continue painting my home and intentionally design each room on zero budget, to continue healing and learning about all sorts of things and attempt to get my garden under control. ❤
V, can you please do a video on your design mood boards and plans for this year? I’d love to see your overarching general plan for the year. ❤ It would be great for those of us with depression to set home goals for the year to give hope. I love your mood board videos.
Been having fun going through what I’ve Pinned and seeing how much my tastes have changed and updating the boards on Pinterest. It’s also been a case of refining and analysing every part of a room to see what and what not to do and seeing what the hygge factor is that draws my eye. 😊
Hi ok so we live in riverside Ca. and i love your channel it was one of the first channels i found that ok finally someone who loves black plus i like that you make it all realistic how to achieve a similar look. We have so many projects since we bought our house out here less than 2 years almost everything needed completely new paint floor etc it was this area or LA county the sacrafice was my husband commute to work . This week looking to hire someone to hire for recessed lighting . We have moved 9 times since 2008 due to my husbands job . i've always been into interior styled homes before i fully understood it lol. Everytime we have to sell and move agents ask who staged the house or was it staged lol. I'll take that as a compliment lol, Happy New year

As I’m now pretty much housebound my surroundings have become so much more important to me and I’ve slowly been making some changes inspired by you. My dream would be for you to style my living room and kitchen/dining room as they are the rooms I spend the most time in.

I am so glad you guys are back! Missed my HOV fix! My 2025 Resolution: Take better care of myself! As many ladies do, I spend a lot of time taking care of others and I've just felt very spent lately. My goal is to more kind to myself in 2025. I am taking hot baths, having my nails done, meditating, keeping a daily gratitude journal, drinking less alcohol which helps me sleep sooo much better. We did a lot of work in our home in 2024 and have more projects coming. Master bedroom is next. Just bought new nightstands (Padua in black) from Restoration Hardware and are trying to decide on a dresser and then some chairs for a sitting area. And I may chicken out but I want to take an improv class! Stay tuned... Happy New Year to one and all!

Come for ideas! Clothes and home styling. I live in a high rise condo in Chicago. My style is luxury/transitional/touches of Hollywood Regency. Always more projects to do. Picking out new living room chairs (leaning towards espresso brown velvet deeper seat chairs from crate and barrel). Also doing blinds (which have to all be custom because of the windows and slider sizes) selected light filtering with a linen look in an eggshell in the living spaces and blackout in the bedrooms. Suggestions welcome! My words this year are diligence and fulfillment. Trying to make sure I stay focused on what my goals are personal and professional while approaching them with balance and intention. And, my focus is always on spoiling my fur baby.

Agree, I’ve said this in the past, I rarely find anything similar on the UK site 😟. There seems to be so much more choice in the US. I must have been looking for the right curtains on and off for 5 years or more, every pair I see that I like are always in the US! For 2025 I want to redecorate my home to something I will love and that is me but I am so stumped on how to proceed. My husband of 42 years passed away a year ago so I no longer need to compromise. But I am so scared to move forward with redecorating for fear of screwing it up. But I guess I will just have to take a leap.

Come for ideas! Clothes and home styling. I live in a high rise condo in Chicago. My style is luxury/transitional/touches of Hollywood Regency. Always more projects to do. Picking out new living room chairs (leaning towards espresso brown velvet deeper seat chairs from crate and barrel). Also doing blinds (which have to all be custom because of the windows and slider sizes) selected light filtering with a linen look in an eggshell in the living spaces and blackout in the bedrooms. Suggestions welcome! My words this year are diligence and fulfillment. Trying to make sure I stay focused on what my goals are personal and professional while approaching them with balance and intention. And, my focus is always on spoiling my fur baby.
How about a Black cap with the light colored coat and shawl. I always like to color coordinate. Too weird? Looking back to 70’s!!

Suggestion: when you have a French name item, like Bois d'Argent, just Google: French to English, put the French word in, and hit the speaker symbol, and it will say the French word(s) correctly in French. It will add to your professional presentations.

How do you find all the items on amazon? Lamps for example, I search lamps and nothing like what you purchased shows up.
Have you considered doing live streams where you can interact with the chat in real time. Take that a little further and schedule a zoom meeting with members only where everyone does brunch and chat together.

Agree, I’ve said this in the past, I rarely find anything similar on the UK site 😟. There seems to be so much more choice in the US. I must have been looking for the right curtains on and off for 5 years or more, every pair I see that I like are always in the US! Been trying to find a UK based influencer that has a similar style to V, just because they will list UK based products, not really found anyone as yet x😮

For 2025 I want to redecorate my home to something I will love and that is me but I am so stumped on how to proceed. My husband of 42 years passed away a year ago so I no longer need to compromise. But I am so scared to move forward with redecorating for fear of screwing it up. But I guess I will just have to take a leap.

I used the sweater defuzzer on Sunday. It pulled the fabric into the machine. I now how holes. Need to throw it away. Giving fast fashion a new short term wear (bought for Christmas ).
