That's incredible. I'm Swiss. I've known each of these products! These are really things that you find everywhere in Switzerland and also regularly eats. I am like that.
I'm from Switzerland, moved to the US about 13 years ago... your whole video I was like: "Hmmmm...oh yeeeaa, ooooh, I remember that... yuuum... yeeeeeah!" lol. Swiss food is very high quality. :)
Emmy, I really enjoyed to buy all the different treats and arrange them, make a foto and write "instructions". The reactions on your face are priceless. I am very happy. Greetings from Switzerland, Miriam
The reaction to Torino is my favorite of any of the tasting videos. She always without fail is honest but positive in her assessment of whatever she is tasting, but it's so fun to witness those few moments when she tries something that is really special.
Oh Miriam, You're so welcome :) I had a wonderful time and apologies again, for the sound (a laptop on its last legs) and rough editing (participating in NextUp with an infant, ha!).
Das sagt sie doch bei allen Ländern! Hast du nicht die anderen Clips gesehen? Asiaten sind halt im Gegensatz zu uns Westlern "sehr höfflich", sie sagen immer great , auch wenn mal was nicht so schmeckt...
Love watching this! My husband is from Fribourg, Switzerland and I lived there with him for 4 years, not we live in California together. In a few years we will move back to Switzerland. I can't wait to eat all the wonderful food there. We miss it so much. Luckily we get a lot of Swiss friends and family come to visit us and they bring us all the foods we miss. And we are going to Switzerland this Christmas for a visit! Can't wait! I know all the things you tried on the video, love them all!
Marcus! So lovely to hear from you. Happy to hear about your new channel and thanks for the lighting module it was definitely my favorite. Do stay in touch. :)
Maybe the expensive ones but there is no better proper candy brand then Fazer we have here in Finland,i challenge any swiss chocolate to the test..But our cheese can't be even be called cheese compared to Swiss cheeses which are my favourite and are divine..
Christian91201 maybe but everyone knows that swiss chocolate is the best .. just saying and you can NOT compare swiss chocolate to chocolate in finland .. i mean come on maybe swiss chocolate is compared to blegium chocolate but not finland... just saying
Christelle amanda How about taste Fazer brand chocolates first and then talk..I have tasted most of the best Swiss chocolate and the same price chocolates don't even compare to Fazer..My Sister worked in Munich so i was in Switzerland then few times and my father has brought me swiss chocolate back in the day from trips when i was a kid..
I just want to say that you showing these videos and those kind people who send you these treats helped broaden my bucket list of things to try :) also, yay! you survived Nemo!
Here in Switzerland we give the Willisauer Ringli to our babies, when their tooth start growing. So they can bite on it, because it eases the pain for them.
Emmy, it is very cool to watch you taste the products I am used to for the very first time. And you do a great job by finding out what the products are made of. Greetings from Switzerland. :)
Thank you Emmy and Thank you Miriam for making this video possible! I'm going to Switzerland, Germany and Austria in a month and was wondering what kinds of snack-like things they had! So thank you so much for showing me!
Yea, this video's a mess for a whole host of reasons. :( It was filmed on a dying laptop so the audio was out of sync and it was edited while I was traveling...ah, well.
I just started watching your channel a couple of weeks ago and I've been working my way back. Your editing skills are so much better today! You've really improved! :)
"Camille Bloch" producing "Ragusa" and "Torino" of one of the few independant chocolate fabrics not belonging to Nestlé, Kraft Food or Unilever. The fabric is in Courtelary. So good choice.
Hi Emmy! It was a pleasure meeting you at YTSLA! It's Marcus the Lighting instructor. You and your fellow creators inspired me to create my own TH-cam page. Best wishes!
Lindt best chocolate quality not overly sweet you can choose cocoa 50% 70% 80% 100% its expensive here but it's worth especially "lindor kugeln" with chocolate centre that just melts smoothly in your mouth .
As I replied to a previous comment, this video is wonky for a few reasons; it was filmed on a dying laptop (audio sync issues) and edited while I was traveling and participating in TH-cam Next - utter madness. Thanks for understanding. :)
It's so neat that you get sent packages from various places around the world. Lots of good stuff out there indeed and I write down certain snacks I want to try and hope to find them on the net heheh. Thanks for always sharing your experiences!
6:15 I absolutely agree with your friend... Cailler Branche is by far my favorite chocolate bar. Perfect balance of full creamy milk chocolate and hazelnut flavor, not too sugary like many cheap chocolate bars. Perfection. It also comes in dark chocolate, in very dark chocolate and extra milky chocolate. Now they have brought out some new flavors I don't quite like, because they're too artificial and sweet: Salted caramel, Popcorn, Yoghurt Crisp and Coffee. They're ok, but they can't beat the simplicity and balance of the original.
Really? Cool. I guess the ones I get, either come in a bag & are individually wrapped or are packaged in a roll. I'll have to keep an eye out for the boxes. Thanks
I have watched all of your Emmy eats videos and this one has to be the most delicious looking treats you have done, totally wish I could try some of them choc bars
I noticed that, like Emmy, many people seem to think that dark chocolate's got a lower fat content. In fact the higher cocoa ratio in dark chocolate causes a higher fat content (cocoa beans are quite oily). It's got a lot less sugar though, which is good. Plus cocoa oil is quite healthy. Just FYI :)
Parfait is actually made of liver and truffle mushroom, it is very popular but consedered as low quality food compared to fois gras. Cenovis is made of beer starch and vegetable concentrate, pronounce it "say-no-viss". Branches Cailler are utterly popular far more than Torino (but no rice in them, only hazelnutt). Zweifel, very hard to prounouce for strangers, try "tzvay-ful". Many presented products come from most famous supermarket: Migros. And yes, Ricola is one of our economical gem.
Hey Emmy. Don't sweat one, not perfect video. No one is perfect and I hardly expect you to be. Love your videos. I even shared them with my sons teacher last year when you did Australia. They were studying the country and that was the perfect way to show the kids what kids 'down under' may be snacking on. Kepp up your awesome work! Would you like to eat Wisconsin? I will keep my eyes peeled for some regional treats!
Emmy your videos are great :) I imagine my happy place and it's at home watching your videos. Although I always get a serious craving for ramune and hi-chew xD
Very interesting since I have never tried Swiss snacks before. The sausage snack reminded me very much of Peperami that is available in the UK while we can also get Ricola in the UK.
Nooo Emmy stop making everything look so good. It feels like I'm watching the cooking channel at night and getting depressed because I know I won't ever have access to these kinds of food T_T
I really enjoy watching her eat too, thats the whole point of me watching her videos is so I can watch her eat(just jokeing, I enjoy the whole video)..... sometimes while I'm eating. xD
Joschys zeuch From Geneva here, not sure what that Cenovis thing was. :/ Though I remember tasting something similar that I totally hated as a kid... might be the same thing. Funny how I can communicate with my Basel brethren in English, but hardly know any German. :p
Emanouche We have a lot Workers from Geneva here in Solothurn they're all most likely talking english. Its funny to switch between french and english while talking with em xD
Oh man, your videos make me a little jealous, only because you get to have all these REALLY good foods! That's like, my dream job right there... People sending me delicious things to eat, I mean. Aaaahhh...
Emanouche Now I'm hungry, off to eat some ramen. ;)
Emmy, I really enjoyed to buy all the different treats and arrange them, make a foto and write "instructions". The reactions on your face are priceless. I am very happy.
Greetings from Switzerland,
Miriam

Swiss chocolate is the best in the world, nothing can compare to it!
Im swiss too. Toblerone is fine, but if you like smooth chocolate i recommend "Ragusa" try it out, it's a dream.

There's a reason why Swiss chocolate is that famous
Swiss things are not really popular in the world

Sadly it's the way of the Internet, but my philosophy is to do battle with wit & good cheer - then we all win.
Thank you Emmy and Thank you Miriam for making this video possible! I'm going to Switzerland, Germany and Austria in a month and was wondering what kinds of snack-like things they had! So thank you so much for showing me!

Hi Emmy! It was a pleasure meeting you at YTSLA! It's Marcus the Lighting instructor. You and your fellow creators inspired me to create my own TH-cam page. Best wishes!

You are definitely a 90's kid with the Macho Man and Smurf reference from your Italian video. Love it!
Nubletts is probably the greatest word that I have heard all day!
Really? Cool. I guess the ones I get, either come in a bag & are individually wrapped or are packaged in a roll. I'll have to keep an eye out for the boxes. Thanks
