and yea the drop is awkward, but with Joel that is most likely on purpose. He doesn't like to stick to the generic formulaic structure that 90% of the other producers use. He really varies his drops in live shows too.
The pad is a kontakt plug in dont recall the name. The saw pluck is originally serum but was probably analogue recorded, the backing strings are Vienna strings.
