Even if you had pure unobstructed total collapse from the floors above impact, there is nowhere near enough weight from the dilapidated structure on top to cause the bottom 80% of the building to fully collapse into its own footprint. Any engineer that's not on record would easily agree with this assessment.
There was a VR game about 9/11, shit was dark asf. It’d be really interesting and cool to be playing as an office worker, Pentagon employee on that day, to figure out what they went through.

Imagine a mission taking place on top of the world trade centers and a 25 player kill streak allows you to call in an airplane that ends the match
I can see three ways Activision could do this.
1. If Activation has the Balls to do it then it's where we actual fly the planes into the towers.
2. Hudson, Woods, Alder, Mason, and who ever else is in the game is on a mission in the middle east trying to stop a Cerberus terrorist attack and after we complete the mission Hudson get a call and informs the team that the mission we just completed wasn't the terrorist attack but a decoy and the actual one was the 9/11 attack and we then see News footage of the attack.
3. We play through the perspective on a first responder on 9/11 and run into the towers to rescue people and latter on in the mission the towers collapse while we're inside it.
Mason and Hudson are confirmed dead, Adler is probably dead and woods is confirmed crippled
@@Deathmare235 I don't know who going to in the game ya Hudson dead, Mason depends on where you shot him in Black ops 2 doubt it makes a difference anyway, Woods is crippled most likely Adler would be in the game and they might let you create a character like they did with Bell in Cold wars

I think a lot of people don’t understand the fact that you put something in your media while still being respectful towards it, ready or not and six days in falujah faced the same issue where people were judging them before even giving them a chance
I really hope treyarch and raven go through with this in a way that both fits the story and is respectful towards people who lost their lives because of this event or it’s aftermath (Afghanistan and Iraq invasions) to show these things are part of our history and we can’t change it but we can’t live in fear of portraying them

He had made a joke regarding Bin Laden and airplanes blowing up as part of the routine at a show in Las Vegas on 9/09/01 and 9/10/01. The album has since been released under the same name after his death.

Pearl Harbor was also a military attack on a military target in what was at the time not a state but an outlying territory of the US. Not only was 9/11 more recent, it was an attack in the middle of one of our largest cities, destroying one of our most iconic landmarks and targeting/killing almost exclusively civilians. I’d say it definitely hit us harder as a country on an emotional level and I can guarantee that if they are going through with this, they’ll get a whole hell of a lot of bad publicity. I don’t think people are going to be over 9/11 for many more decades at this stage. I personally don’t mind them doing it and I’m almost interested to see it, but then keep in mind I was 3 on 9/11/01 and have pretty much no memory of what happened.

In BO2, Admiral Briggs mentions that he flew a patrol almost 25 years ago in response to DEFCON. It would be interesting if he made an appearance.

All we’ve seen is the year 2001 being mentioned and now people are immediately assuming they’re gonna give us a mission where 9/11 happens 😂. At most I think they’ll just add the historic event into the timeline and story but I doubt they’ll have us play the mission.

I think they are gonna do something like black ops 1 where they mysteriously hint that the events in the game may have led to the 9/11 attacks in a 'black ops' creepy type of way...like imagine at the end of the game a main character is monologuing in the background and we see a creepy esque video of the planes hitting shot in one of those 2000s cameras and it cuts to black

Well, if they have the 911 attacks hinted at or mentioned in the game, I hope to God we hear courtesy of the red white blue the angry American by Toby Keith because that song by him was directly related to 911. It was written as a response to the attacks to rally the American Public to fight against those that did the attacks I think that would be just a neat piece of history that we shouldn’t forget but also a good tribute to the late Toby Keith

What had me thinking back with this..
Remember the beginning scene of Black Ops II's mission "Odysseus" (you have to had failed or not do the Strike Force missions to get this cutscene) where Briggs and Secretary Petraeus were speaking on the last order on Defcon 3 and Briggs claims that he flew one of the jets when Secretary Rumsfeld ordered DEFCON 3 back in the September 11 attacks.. maybe, just maybe we get a little Admiral Briggs cameo or he will get mentioned in Black Ops 6? 👀

Coming back to this video and I have been thinking of how many small stories can be interlinked similar to bo2 missions where you play as Menedez then switch to mason and shows how thinks link. Here are some characters you could play as:
1. Random Civilian on the ground seeing plane crash.
2. Firefighter/Medics- After attack.
3. Civilian on plane, (NOT! the planes that crash in towers, but the 4th plane. sure, it is a bit controversial, where you fight the terrorists. In the end crashing the plane. I feel this plane is forgotten which is sad. You don't have to fight you could be watching in background.
4. Civilian escaping towers.
5. News Reporter in Helicopter watching all the chaos unfold.
The campaign is important, in cod. It should not glorify these atrocities, but shine light on them, so we can learn from them...

Hey Ink if you ever heard of the movie called The World Trade Center in 2006 it wasn’t a documentary. It actually was a real movie depiction of 9/11 and I remember seeing it in the theatre when I was a kid. The movie had Nicolas Cage in it as the main character as a cop and he was tasked to go in and help rescue some people inside one of the towers.

Well, every campaign after mw2019 was controversial. Just in the wrong way.
I could definitely see it happening, just for the pure fact that people have been asking for these campaigns to take more risks and bring it back to the story told in MW2019 where it was a darker more grounded story much like how BO1 was.
That would be too controversial for that to be a mission, that would go too far, like the mission "No Russian" in MW2 from the original trilogy.

Trying to disarm the bombs in the towers a different faction of the federal government installed, trying to help evacuate, when you realize there is no way to disarm the bombs. And eventually fail the mission. Being on ground zero when the towers fall and experience the loss and destruction first hand instead of how most of us remember it, behind TV screen.

Black ops 7 should take place in the early 2000s where you play as David Mason in the navy seals
I'm from Kuwait and I can confirm that a lot happened in the early 90s and my parents were young at the time and they remember the events that happened and there's key battles that happened here at the time:
A major one being: Al Qurain battle on the 24th of February 1991 leading to major martyrdom and around 8 or 9 members of battle from our side being injured but thankfully still living to tell the tale of the invasion and heroics that happened
How I imagine a mission based on this event is you’re probably a bystander, and you have to escape or something.
