Couldn't sleep, so wandered out to waste time on the computer...(In the hope of getting tired) Your video was a suggestion and I'm glad it was. Interesting listening to your story and perspective.

This is so good to hear. I'm in my early 30s and just starting my blogging journey. Sometimes it's scary to even imagine what it could be, but I'm committed to making this happen.
I have followed you for several years and soak in all of the value you freely give. What I really enjoyed about this video was you slowed down. I was able to listen and absorb more easily. It is not a criticism (probably more due to my head injury and having to rewind and playback to take notes!) But you were calm and very open, just like you were talking with one person and sharing some deep insights you've experienced and are currently feeling. I've found that our childhood experiences shape us at some level and don't leave us completely. It sounds like a push and pull is still happening inside of you, but you are better at managing it. Growing up, maturing, having your own family. You are seeing and living life with a different perspective than before. And that is an adjustment in itself. This was a good side of you to share. Your vulnerability probably helped more entrepreneurs today than you realize.

I agree 100% that keeping things simple and actually having the time and freedom to do what you want is the goal; NOT based on what others define as "rich" or "happy" or "growth" needs to be said more often. This video is WAY beyond anything else you've produced. 👍 Your rapid rise, and the potential your success represents have been inspirational, for sure. But your casual, relaxed demeanor always struck me as you thinking that all of this is easy, and should be easy for others. That made you seem.. sort of distant.
I think more videos like this would be great, where you slow down, lose the script and speak off bullets only, and don't just talk to us but keep sharing with us (based on your personal experience) .
Really, well done and thank you again. Btw I would love to hear about your later jobs, in the digital marketing space, and how they influenced your business now.

I liked that a lot! Getting a window in the the lessons you've picked up through your journey is fascinating, especially since you've achieved the sort of success that I am chasing. I've learned a lot of those lessons at 1/10th your level, and it's encouraging to hear that what makes life happy and worthwhile does not change as you hit and make new goals.

Congratulations Adam, you should be proud of what you have built. I’m starting what I hope will be a similar journey. I’m actually really good at SEO but stopped a number years ago because I started a business. Unfortunately, my business is on the verge of costing me everything so I’m hoping these additional revenue streams will save us. We doubled the size of our family this year by taking in 2 foster kids so I have a lot riding on this. Like you, I don’t need $1 million a month so we’ll see what happens in the next couple months. I’m not trying to start a get rich quick business but if I can generate a couple thousand dollars, it would really bring a lot of relief. I’d cross my fingers but I think I’ll need all my fingers to get this moving quickly. lol
First, congrats on your first child ..... thank you for sharing your story .... you may think that it won't help, but it does for me and to those who have and will comment on this. I like it and hope that you make more of this. Thanks for the breakdown on your earnings, at least it has given me an idea of what to expect and what steps I should take once I earn high amounts of money.
I don't know how many of your videos I have watched. I can't help but listen to your calm voice. Have considered joining your BGE group, I just have doubts about the truth of everything. Not sure of my own abilities. If I somehow knew that in six months time I could clear 5K a month, I would definitely be in. You have and are living the dream most people want. You are just awesome! This world can be cruel without money. I am from Africa and I remember how happy I was with the little I had. I am grateful for everything God has blessed me -with but I worry a lot about myself and my kids future because I feel I don’t have enough. And I am gonna get started so I can stop worrying and start living by making enough to help myself and my loved ones back home. I’ve been incredibly sick, but I’ve realized just lately, that the one thing I can still do is talk and teach. Being bedridden has given me the gift of time to delve deep into thought. Really work through, what I consider to matter most in life, how to raise kids that are well adjusted and kind, how to build deep relationships when you literally can leave your room and how to become fascinated with humanity and continue to learn without feeling like life is leaving you behind. I’ll be able to do this through raw, unfussy, unedited content. Hopefully, eventually, I’ll be able to monetize as well.
Love the transparency and the way you talk to us like we're real people rather than just out there flexing an "influencer lifestyle" on us. PS... fellow Michigander here!! ✋

I believe all things are possible, but this is for sure a strange time in the world of algorithms. $10 - 30k per month from a blog or two, living off 1/3, saving and investing 1/3, and the last 1/3 for taxes. I'm good with that.
Starting a blog from scratch in March 2024 to build towards my stated goal is causing some angst at 53. I have $70k in debt, basically just the remainder of my mortgage, and that's it. I'm focused on getting that paid ASAP.
Can't I really do it? Time, luck, and perseverance will tell.
