My friend's poncho came out beautiful. She loves it! I added a few extra stitches to make it plus sized so my beginning chain was 72 stitches instead of 60 it worked out perfectly.
Hello! What a beautiful poncho! I started crocheting it a few days ago, the pattern is easy to follow and it looks "modern"! It's the third project of yours that I made and I just love the easy way you explain and present your work. I've seen a few more projects on your channel that look interesting... 😊! Thx
Hi jayda . Nowadays I am making this poncho . The way you have demonstrated is so lovely. But I used a hook of number 5 with 4 ply yarn that's the reason that a lot of yarn has been used. You made 33 rows and mine has exceeded 40 and still more to be made to reach the desired length. I have used 2 shades of blue and have added 3D flowers to it. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful design.
Just finished this poncho. It is beautiful and an easy to follow written pattern. Hubby and I go to summer concerts with our dogs and this will be perfect while we are sitting enjoying the concerts and the summer breeze off of the river. Thank you Jayda. ❤️
Just finished this shawl for my daughter using Mandala Gnome colour changing yarn. wish I could put a picture here for you to see, it looks great. Your tutorials are so easy, I'm also making an 8 inch granny square afghan following your granny square tips and will join with the ridged seams you have on your blues afghan. Thank you Jayda.

Right on..thank you for the clarification. Man learning all these things at my age makes me feel rather dim witted. Truth is I just never had occasion to learn any of this...too busy with other avenues of life. I appreciate you greatly. Thank you again,Jayda.😊🤟
ahhh, sure thing, Shelline! :) There are way too many things to learn/keep track of over the course of one's life...and everything seems to keep changing anyway LOL
Hi Jayda! I finally finished a crochet project...this poncho. 😊 It's been awhile. After I wet block it, I'll post a picture. Hope you are having a great summer!
Jayda InStitches We had one day last week with heavy rain, but other then that not really too much rain. We've actually had a few days that rained in the morning and the sun came out in the afternoon. Last year we ended up in torrential rain during 4th of July fireworks, but this year the weather was perfect! Stay inside, stay dry and crochet your way through the rain. Hopefully, the sun will come back out for you soon!
+Becky G I'm so glad to hear that😊 What was threatening to be rain blew right on past, so we got a little extra sun today than we thought we would! Our long weekend was really great too, the fireworks weren't rained out and I even got my hands on a sparkler!
Jayda InStitches Glad the rain never came today. Even sparklers have always been illegal in my state, although someone told me they're not anymore, but I haven't checked for myself. Supposedly, it's still illegal to sell them in my state, but not to go to another state to buy them and use them here. I'm thinking about what project to start next. I'm thinking about the Corner 2 Corner blanket, but a little bigger then a baby blanket. I also have the monthly blanket squares started, but I'm way behind. I'm working on those as the mood strikes me.
Wow! Sparklers are illegal in your state? That's disappointing, but I'll keep that in mind if I'm ever in Jersey and in a celebratory mood...I'll bring my own * giggle *. I'm sort of obsessing over the C2C right now, I love how quickly they work up and how warm the fabric is! I'm thinking of making a throw-sized one for the couch out of scraps, I'm thinking it'll be the perfect thing to curl up under when the cooler weather hits again in a few months!
jayda, I love lisyeBing to your videis and tuts because you sound like us, down to earth girl (ladie) that is one of us. Thank you. Love you.. Keep up the great work.
love it if am making it for myself in different greens and it looks great. but I am going to put buttons on it like the one you get on duffle coats. long wooden one. thanks Tracey minton
This is so pretty! I am heading to my craft table now to make it :) A humble request, can you please teach us how to make roses and tulips. Thanks a ton!
I made this for my Mrs. Claus dress to wear in the parade this year and our village's tree lighting...omg...it was so warm. I used acrylic yarn in white, it looked like heaven on me..

Thank you for watching, Dawn! 😊
Hi Jayda! I finally finished a crochet project...this poncho. 😊 It's been awhile. After I wet block it, I'll post a picture. Hope you are having a great summer!
Hi Becky!! That's wonderful :) I hope you guys had a great long weekend and are enjoying the summer too! Are you getting as much rain as we are?!
Hello Jayda! this is such a beautiful pattern! i hope its one of those one size patterns
