Dig Gently boys, gently. The bottle may not be what you’re looking for but you could sell it to someone who collects all bottles, like me! Lol- Suzanne
@7:45 That looks like a shard from a Delft piece. The crazing in the glaze means it's much older than your dump - brought over from Holland or the Netherlands.
I think you guys had a great day--any day you get a hutch is great! Some nice old meds, too. I always love to watch you guys dig, it makes me tired just looking at it! :-) Good luck, can't wait for the next video!
Man you got all the bottles out of this dig that I've also recently been finding! The end of last year I got that Glover's Imperial Mange, the Mrs. Winslow's, the Dr. Bell's, and that poison from my favorite dump!
I enjoy your videos ,yall find some old bottles, my sister lived in Dora by the warrior river should be some nice creeks to find bottles and indian points ,I've been digging bottles for50 yrs my home town is savh ga keep digging.
Thanks so much for the kind words! If you dont mind me asking how did you find my channel? I have noticed a influx of people the last 2 days and havent been able to figure out how they are finding me hahaha!
@@adventurearchaeology it showed up in my Recommended for You by You Tube. Usually I like the medal detecting shows, but bottles seemed interesting. Then one of your river walks showed up and a medal detecting with History Seekers...and I was hooked! You do it all and your videos are great! I'm looking forward to watch more and catch up!
They used pig hair for toothbrush bristles back then. Yah, I concur with Angella-Clayton is definitely some eye candy! Doesn’t matter what he digs, I could watch him all day 😛 lol another great video guys!!
Cool video. Any bottle dig is a good one, lol. Most interesting bottle I have dug is one shaped like a decanter. Has dosage lines on the side and is embossed with Dr, Ross Liguid Tongue Relaxer.
Probably the least valuable, but I think those NuGrape bottles are gorgeous! Do the bottles in a dump just sink that low over years of weathering? Seems like there'd be more old bottles just mixed through. Really fascinating! Thanks guys! 👍👍
The widget you found first is the top to am electric plug in, possibly for a lamp. I have the lamp, the original cord and that plug on my bedside table. Right now. It’s been in my family at lease since I was born in 1947.
I know you guys know your terrain, but it drives me crazy seeing Clayton digging down in that hole. Being from Bakersfield California you could never dig like ground is to sandy and dry. Be safe. Lol.
Bromo was often a "Hangover cure", when drinking was a more typical practice in American society. You'll see it referenced in some old movies. Who was that guy who always was the broken down old cowpoke in the Western pictures?
out of my 600 +,my favorite are the john wyeth and bro, found all four parts, the deepest purple cobalt blue! and the Fad rickter and company ice green, beautiful! found one in the box, in a wall, 99 pills of 100,nutos,perfect condition!
The softer the ground, the futher the bottles sink after being deposited especially areas with lots of rain. In drier areas it may take more time to sink. ...
I’m thinking it was common to throw mules, horses or other critters into the pit that passed away to be burned up. How auto mated was the process of making bottles on the 1915’s or older one you all find?
I believe you can date a bottle by how the top part or lip of the bottle was manufactured . You may have already covered this in your video on dating bottles.
I've actually dug one of them here, at 'Iwilei dump of Honolulu, until about 1920. Swamp was filled and Unocal marine refueling facility installed, as steamships switched from coal to oil burning.
Hey Narice! Welcome to the channel! I have a video on how to clean bottles and occasionally we show them cleaned up via Instagram and in the community section of TH-cam. We dig so many it is hard to get them all cleaned up for a video wrap up! Haha
I know this is morbid but my friends and I have a bet for how long it’s going to take before one of you are killed in a collapse. I pray it doesn’t happen but you are pushing your luck. Everyone luck runs out at some point. Thanks for the video and my you Rest In Peace when you are buried alive. Your family will just have to put up a head stone.
Pulling dirt over head and out hope you 2 are young. When you hit 30ties + expect to pull your back to the point it will bring you to your knees. But till then make that money Bros.
There are those odd times when having a strong back means nothing. Sometimes even if you have a strong back you can get a hernia from trying to pickup a toothpick.
Ugh. I hate when heavy rains fill my holes in at the insulator spot. It’s so much work getting to the glass layer and after some moderate rain it’s like I’ve done nothing .
Why do you make Clayton do all the heavy work and you just stand around talking . This group is not a democracy? Do you pay him minimum wage per hour? All members should equally do all the work.
Hey everyone be sure to check this video out to see the tools that we use while digging! th-cam.com/video/J6iSBiY1RiM/w-d-xo.html
Great video enjoyed watching some lovely bottles enjoyed watching
Love the blue ink,!! So totally awesome! Love you Alabama guys!
It doesn’t matter to me what you find, I like them all. Oh thanks for the Clayton eye candy.
LOL!
Hello! I am a Japanese bottle digger. I was fascinated by the very attractive cobalt jar and the embossed bottles.
Dig Gently boys, gently. The bottle may not be what you’re looking for but you could sell it to someone who collects all bottles, like me! Lol- Suzanne
Still my favorite channel.
Very cool! Thanks for sharing your hunt and finds. Take care.

It looks like a good day nice bottles
You guys really know your bottles. Archieology is mighty fine stuff.
Clayton is a hole digging machine.
Euler Brandon has enslaved Clayton to dig holes
Wow awesome footage, great video nice work 👍👍👀
Another good one! We are ready for the rain to stop too. Got to get you back over digging with us again.
I am ready!
Always a pleasure. Congrats on the finds. 👍✌
Thanks!
Love the Dr Tucker bottle
Great video and a good day Brandon! Keep em coming.
Thanks Spike!

Nice to watch successful digging, two feet of snow in two weeks here, keep up and have fun
Great dig!! Love the video!

Pretty good dig, enjoyed watching!
Thanks for checking out the video like normal!
Awesome dig as usual guys. Thanks for sharing !
GL&HH
Good stuff

Lol!
love the embossing on that bottle.
That NuGrape is really cool. I've never seen one like it.
Hello. New subscriber from Cape Town SA :) Beautiful blue ink! If I hear blue,I will watch :)
It was about 13 degrees today here in Maine, though it maybe got up to 17 at one point. Great video, thanks!
Keep all the broken plate pieces and grout them onto a table top
GREAT !!!!!!
Love medicine and poison bottles! You're so lucky to have places like you do to dig.
Cool video. Any bottle dig is a good one, lol. Most interesting bottle I have dug is one shaped like a decanter. Has dosage lines on the side and is embossed with Dr, Ross Liguid Tongue Relaxer.
Lol a tongue relaxer..... must have been alcohol!
Awesome Coke bottle. That ornate little piece could be the remainder of an old 🔌 plug, dig safe
Probably the least valuable, but I think those NuGrape bottles are gorgeous! Do the bottles in a dump just sink that low over years of weathering? Seems like there'd be more old bottles just mixed through. Really fascinating! Thanks guys! 👍👍
Do love blue glass !
Cobalt is my favorite!!! I only find one or two cobalt bottles a year. Why can’t I find dumps like this.
The widget you found first is the top to am electric plug in, possibly for a lamp. I have the lamp, the original cord and that plug on my bedside table. Right now. It’s been in my family at lease since I was born in 1947.
Wow that is pretty cool!
I know you guys know your terrain, but it drives me crazy seeing Clayton digging down in that hole.

nice!
seems people had tumy troubles alot in them days. bromo was big seller. have found them alot too.
Bromo was often a "Hangover cure", when drinking was a more typical practice in American society. You'll see it referenced in some old movies. Who was that guy who always was the broken down old cowpoke in the Western pictures?
It’s the top part of a lamp before the bulb. I believe it’s the piece that the fitting for the bulb wired into
Gives me the itch to go out and dump dig no matter how cold it is.
I agree!
This is very interesting. Looks like a crazy amount of work. Arrow head hunting is a lot easier. lol.
out of my 600 +,my favorite are the john wyeth and bro, found all four parts, the deepest purple cobalt blue! and the Fad rickter and company ice green, beautiful! found one in the box, in a wall, 99 pills of 100,nutos,perfect condition!
Wow!
Can you tell more about the “grape” bottle?
Maybe try using a garden spade?
the little brown thing you found is a piece of a cord plug but its made of Bakelite plastic.
That would make sense!
Do u ever save the marbles that u find? I understand that some could also be very valuable.
We do!
I'm curious, is it always necessary to dig that deep, or is this just a privy dig?
It varies from dump to dump!
The softer the ground, the futher the bottles sink after being deposited especially areas with lots of rain. In drier areas it may take more time to sink. ...
History behind why the old bottles are so deep??? How did so much dirt get on top of them?
It used to be a city dump! So when they were done they pushed dirt on top of it!
1st time viewer here. Great video. What's a "hucth " you were hopeing for?
Bucket list is a coke Hutch haha!
Oh and welcome to the channel!
😊😊😊😊
Just found the same Cobalt ink as that one. It's my first!
I would love to have a perfect vaseline jar if you ever have enough,do 't think that's too rare :)
I’m thinking it was common to throw mules, horses or other critters into the pit that passed away to be burned up. How auto mated was the process of making bottles on the 1915’s or older one you all find?
Pretty automated by then for sure.
I believe you can date a bottle by how the top part or lip of the bottle was manufactured . You may have already covered this in your video on dating bottles.
Their video.
Beautiful "soothing syrup" and poison. Wonder what the ingredients of the soothing syrup was?
Opium salts were a bit heavy in Mrs. Winslow's.
The bottles were nice though ;) May be we need some of that "soothing syrup" during this Covid 19 disaster ;)
I've actually dug one of them here, at 'Iwilei dump of Honolulu, until about 1920. Swamp was filled and Unocal marine refueling facility installed, as steamships switched from coal to oil burning.
Wat doen jullie met al die mooie oude flessen.
New sub, how do you clean up bottles and do you show cleaned
Hey Narice! Welcome to the channel! I have a video on how to clean bottles and occasionally we show them cleaned up via Instagram and in the community section of TH-cam. We dig so many it is hard to get them all cleaned up for a video wrap up! Haha
Here in Australia I have not seen so many bottles. Please explain what a Hutch is? over here that's what a pet bunny rabbit lives in.
Hey Melodee if you watch the video in this link to the end it will explain what a hutch is! th-cam.com/video/f4CetOSpQq0/w-d-xo.html
So muddy!!
Love that block letter Coke. HH
It is a cool one for sure!
I dug a little piece exactly like that 1:49 wow same piece not sure and I'm in pa
When are you gonna find me my 2019 poison??
Hopefully soon haha!
Adventure Archaeology I’m gonna picky. I want a cobalt 6 ounce lattice one!!! Nice digs I’m sure your gonna find plenty in the next year
i watch all your videos. how do you guys divide the spoils of the day? rock paper scissors?
What we pull out we keep. Haha
What color bottles are the most collectible?
Color really doesn't matter as much as age and type.
@@adventurearchaeology Thank you very much
Milk of magnesia, I always thought that was just a UK product, same type of blue bottle.
I went down to a steep hillside I heard about for only a half hour cause snow and I pulled out a full and rare Donald Duck figurine
Very cool!

Keep the bet running! Haha i have a 12 year track record with zero collapses resulting in injury...... so I hope yall are in it for the long haul!
You know..ditch diggers make 20.00/hrs. You need to cut a check.
Why not chop up with a buzz, it's dead, yeh?
We could if we wouldve brought one! Haha
Pulling dirt over head and out hope you 2 are young. When you hit 30ties + expect to pull your back to the point it will bring you to your knees. But till then make that money Bros.
Haha Im in my 30s already thankfully I have a strong back!
There are those odd times when having a strong back means nothing. Sometimes even if you have a strong back you can get a hernia from trying to pickup a toothpick.
Do y’all sell on eBay?
I do! My seller name is Southerndiggers
Ugh. I hate when heavy rains fill my holes in at the insulator spot. It’s so much work getting to the glass layer and after some moderate rain it’s like I’ve done nothing .
Probably Boar bristles in toothbrush
I’ve heard horse hair!
Why do you make Clayton do all the heavy work and you just stand around talking . This group is not a democracy? Do you pay him minimum wage per hour?
All members should equally do all the work.
🤣🤣🤣 He doesnt film me while I dig. I dig as much as him its just not on camera
Your hole is dangerous and foolish
