No, it's not. Why do people buy expensive high end gear like that and put it in a room that's not in the least made for listening? Because they're show- offs and don't really know how to use/place/treat it. In this room, paying a few thousand Dollars less on other equipment would sound the same, qualitywise. Amazing speaker, amazing amplification, amazing place! Nice to see one of THE BEST speakers continue to hold its own.
I have watched many of these super high end audio videos on YT and this is the first time one has included a gorgeous system actually being demonstrated with decent music! And music that extracts the best from the assembled components. Normally it seems Audiophiles have extravagant taste in equipment but utterly dire taste in music!
I thought I was the only one who thought that, too. I'm not owning any $100000 equipment, but I test my headphones with a good head amp, lossless player, and if they headphones don't sound good with Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here, or Steely Dan, or Rush, Dark Side of the Moon, or Beethoven, I return 'em. I try to test stuff with albums that are recorded really well, but that's also what I consider to be actual good music. Some of these guys play the worst imaginable dross.
Awsome system. Two of the very best American high-end audio companies. A match made in audio heaven. Klipsch and McIntosh, a dream come true for these fortunate people. God blessed you.
I heard the Klipschorns in a night club in Pittsburgh around 1985. I could not even believe the volume they were achieving. And the bass kicked hard in the chest. I was really amazed. So, I went over to the DJ at the club and asked, "Is all that sound coming from just those two speakers or are there other speakers operating also?" He said, "Everything you're hearing is just from those 2 speakers right there?" He was pointing to the Klipschorns.
I got mine in 1977. Model D. No front grill. No top piece. No side grills. Still....100% Klipschorn. $675 each. Now, it's 2024. I am listening to them as I type.
I once owned a pair, bought them stealthily, my wife was not impressed. Obviously my room was not on a par with this. Enjoyed them for a year or so until wife gave me an ultimatum. I still have the wife. A sad sad day.
And the system isn't taking up all the room. The amps are tucked away neatly and with the right speakers you can have them against the wall. The Klipshorns use the corner as a bass horn. Creative use of resources and saves on materials (and imposing structures) a lot.
I grew up listening to Klipschhorns and La scalas, my dad owns them to this day. I am now a die hard klipsch fan and currently own multiple Klipsch speakers.

The Klipschorn has been my favorite for over half century. It really is living *inside* the speaker, because the room walls themselves are a part of the bass horn enclosure. In the right room they are perfect.
I do own this pair of speaker which I bought it from eBay 2nd hand and not regretted it any single day. This pair of speakers was built in 1981 and still functioning perfectly today when I paired it with my 2A3 single ended Sun Audio amplifier. In my opinion your are going after brute power judging from your V10 cylinder engine based coffee table :-) I think a pair of Audio Note 300B Single ended amplifier could bring out more magic out of this pair of speakers. I admired your clean tidy set up which is in contrast with many audiophiles. Enjoy the dynamic sound of your horn speakers that could bring out the soul and emotions of the music when playing live recordings at live like decibels. Even a 3.5W of my Sun Audio is enough to bring out the magic when I set up in my 12x10ft listening room.
When i listen to discern quality I pick out the parts to the instruments and hear how distinct they are. I first listen for the nylon tip of a drum stick tapping the ride cymbal and pan around to the snare maybe a rim shot ( was it realistic or muddy?). Can I hear the chop from the strumming of the pick on an electric guitar or acoustic? Thump from the bass drum. Breath from the vocals, depth and space between musicians. This stuff tells me the audio equipment has the power to reveal and contrast at such a depth greater than my crappy equipment. The room is setup and used to expose or isolate to my liking and the speakers follow standards of positioning ( normally followed) as well as positioning additional speakers to provide spatial depth according to my music collection requirements such as orchestral vs quartet or stadium rock / live etc. I am no audiophile but that's how I listen.
Hardwood floors produce reverberant sound which smears the clarity of the music, particularly the human voice. Room mods will remove the echoic effects. Ask Klipsch for advice.

Thank you for loving my weekend spot. Secret hideway
I have the Bell's paired with my Marantz 2500. Sounds absolutely beautiful. I'm sure not even close to this... but closer than most. I can through my speakers FEEL the bass rumble through the floor up to the couch and into me. One is mesmerized.
It's an amazing cd and speakers, Klipsch forever.
Please let me know when and if you sell the house, but the system must come with it!
Awesome!!!!
Room and view are stunning.
this is an ultimate lively room. this is a concert at home
Awesome McIntosh gears and a pair of Klipsch
This is a dream audio system set-up! In a dream house in a dream location!
Just gorgeous!
Absolutely fantastic system & sound capability! Too bad my money tree got run into by life happening as a family man.
Oh well, things are not too bad, kids are fed & clothed & the bills are paid. Maybe someday...
AzGhillie01 imagine corner horns in an atmos / Dolby 7.2 setup.
A year later, did you end up getting some Klipschorns yet? ;)
Nice sound, great house. Enjoy.
Klipschorn's powered by Mac. That was the first real hifi I heard 50 yrs ago. Still sounds good.
HEY.
Don't forget Carver and Speakerlab.
They were in my neighborhood. Until they Invaded my Home 😂.
Enjoy

Wow, I'm a Soul Man and I love what I'm hearing. By the way, Soul is dead today, I don't hear that word much. I have this CD by Eric Clapton. This sounds so good coming to my small Klipsch computer speakers. wow, I can't imagine, maybe I could, how they sound therein person. Let me get my credit card ready. :)
Beautiful, and a great Clapton song
my brother worked for Paul in Hope for 20+ years.......great speakers---even the Heresy's I have, lol......he had a pair of KHorn and ran the mono in between them
Perfect sweet spot visually and audibly.
McIntosh and Klipschorn , what a setup to die for!
Hardly lol
Think he meant not worth dying for!!
I just love the V12 table !
Everything looks fantastic, it might sound very good! on my side it sounds as good as my Laptop speakers...
But man, I love that V12 table, that could be an old Jag V12 crank with rods and pistons!
Really beautiful. .....thank you 😊
