That’s so cool that they’re little farmers and leave the seeds in the soil so that they can eat the sprouts later!
    I love lovebirds, they’re so cute 🥰

There is actually 9 species of Lovebirds all from Africa and near by . A lot of people call most variety's peachface but the birds in this video are the actual Peachface variety .This particular variety make the best pets if hand reared and are funny little clowns when tame , but no book in your home is safe if you have one as a pet as they love to rip into paper of any kind LOL . This is obviously a feral flock that have bred up from someone's collection that has escaped and multiplied . Rainbow Lorikeets are from the east coast of Australia but there is a colony of them on the West Coast that have bred up in the Kings Park area much like this flock have bred up from escapees from aviaries .Choose where they come from it's nice to see birds in a colony , free and having a good life .

There is a relative of the lovebird from Madagascar as are so many other species originating in Africa. I general however the lovebird is an arid county bird found south of the equator. Arizona closely resembles the the Namibian desert where the peach faced lovebird is native to. The more tropical lovebirds though showing up from time to time won't do as well as the peach faced.

The monk parakeet colony in phoenix seems to be doing pretty well and they are tropical

  • @Nisacha49

Why do they just gather there without doing anything? 😂 They're like confused. My lovebirds, when they are on the ground, will peck on the floor to eat small debris or just chew on stuff.
It's so nice to see them breed in a foreign environment. In my country, many people keep them as pets and a lot of them escape, but I don't think they survive as wild animals here

All the other lovebird species are from Africa, the lovebirds in the video are Rosy faced lovebirds AKA Peach faced lovebirds-(agapornis roseicollis). Originally from the South West of Africa.
