Hotter the better! This is why tropical fruit trees should be planted in the worst time of year!

Most plants can tolerate between 20-120 degrees, if given proper water, and maintaining a healthy root system. 99 percent of plant related problems in the desert, are directly linked to water, humidity, and moisture. Hello jay, i did not know you can grow neem tree in az. Do you sell the neem seeds? I need at least 10seeds for making medicine for my 85 year old mom ( help hemmoroid).
I have a multigrafted mulberry tree and this year I’ve decided to wait and prune it AFTER fruiting. I know the Jan’s Best Dwarf Everbearing branches will grow again and produce a second crop after the pruning. But is that also true of other varieties like Shangri La, Black Pakistani, and Oscar? Either way, seems like I will get maximum production by waiting to prune AFTER the spring harvest. And it SEEMS like mulberry trees are resilient enough not to much mind WHEN I prune. But I’m still pretty new to mulberries so that’s just a guess! Anyone have experience with pruning the different varieties after the spring harvest?
What pear varieties do well in a desert climate?
This is very educational
Maybe because they want one.
What an honor to be in the presence of such a genius who knows it all.
Im 2 years late but what a great video
Kyatt😊
I know this was 7 years ago, but I really want to try this fruit. If you still have the tree id pay some money for a couple.
The only pests that I get on my 3 citrus trees are scale insects.
How does a survival trees list not include nut trees? High calorie and longer storage.
What is the name of your nursery?I want to see the citrus varieties. Do you sell on line. I am from MD
really nice collection :)
I love it! 🥰 Makes me excited to keep some of mine in pots instead of placing in ground with all of the work or digging and spacing etc
😅
First 6 minutes: my trees are so awesome.
Is it true that rainbow eucalyptus blooms all year??
How would I buy a citrus tree from you?
Well my guamachil is huge it’s at the end of my property it doubled in size this summer and no fruit what to feed it ? Deadly thorns omg I can’t imagine near house my tree is rediculous hot summers in az

You're one of the first that I have seen that plants trees properly in Arizona I've been growing them for 40 plus years. Most make the biggest mistake by putting potting soil in the hole and not using their native soil. You're totally right about the depth and the width most dig their holes too deep and not wide enough.
After 28 minutes of showing everyone “ALL THIS FRUIT” he offers up his tips… and the tips are…. Drum roll please! Pot size matters and make sure you water and feed your trees! You’re kidding me dude
How can one get the fruits from the orange tree earlier?
I have a 30 year old tree grown as a seedling from a seedling my father brought over from Taiwan. I'm growing seedlings from it now.
Careful with asbestos in there
And if you lived in las Vegas they would charge FIVE times as much as what you pay in Mesa Az because they have to BUILD all the homes stadiums and shopping retail restaurants here bringing MORE people to Vegas USING all the water!
How much sun do they need?
Can you compost the peels?
Thank you so much for this great educational video!
In vegas if you live in CERTAIN areas we get FINED MAJOR bucks for OVERUSING water. A half acre or more is ONLY allowed to water as much as a 30x30 yard with ONE person in the home. Our water district is CORRUPT.
A banana plant requires 4 - 6 inches of water per month
Once i moved my pots into morning sun/afternoon shade the trees exploded into far more growth.
You saved me from making a big mistake. Purchased a mulberry tree to grow in a pot. It was thriving and then... Yeah, began in September. lol. I'd probably have killed it trying to fix what wasn't broken.
Those mulberries are notorious for getting caterpillar infestations.
Every type of caterpillar on earth infested my garden this year but I never saw any on my new mulberry trees. They`ll probably attack them next year.
Do you add sulfur to stone fruit?
WOW ❤
You ate so right about all those pests. I have a Cara Cara orange and they are on my plant in Florida. Yes, the eggs you showed are the caterpillar that will eat your plants alove.
Come my friend, have some respect for others time. Sorry couldn’t go through this whole video.
Well done.
When do they blossom?
It would have been really helpful if you continued the video with planting the tree .... how much compost? Ratio of compost with native soil? What kind of compost do you use? Other amendments? Fertilizer? Does this advice just apply to trees or anything planted in our clay soil? Also my soil if full of rocks too. Should I pick those out? Any advice appreciated!
I am.intersting in some cuttings. Where in the valley are you located?
Can you dehydrate the mulberry fruit?
