Chloe! You can still light candles! To get rid of the black smoke, you have to trim your wich down about 3mm to stop it from spotting (flickering rapidly) and to reduce black smoke. So simply yet so effective.

We actually put our sponges in the dishwasher when we clean our dishes and then our sponges are really clean and the hot water will kill the germs so you don't have to always buy new sponges all the time :)

Keeping the candle wick trimmed helps control the amount of melted wax that the candle has access to, which helps limit the amount of soot it creates. The trimmed wick also helps the candle burn more evenly, controlling the soot and prolonging the life of the candle.
A tip for the candles, I have a small child that gets into everything, so I don't light candles much anymore. I've started using candle/coffee warmers to use my candles, you'll still get that great smell through the house and you don't have to worry about the soot and breathing that in. I still light a candle from time to time and only do it for a few hours a day and not all day. You can find the candle warmers on Amazon.
That hair clog remover is BOMB!!!! But also Chloe, make sure u are cutting the wick down on your candle before u ever light it.... usually if I trim it before I ever light it I don't have to trim it ever again. And if u are SUPER worried about the soot just open a window or two when u have your candles going! That's one of my fave things because I feel like it's letting all the fresh air sanitize my living space but at the same time I have the good scent of candle!!

When you’re done with a wax melt you can put the tray with the used wax in the freezer for a few hours or overnight and it’ll pop right out and you can toss the wax, that way your scents don’t get mixed up! 🕯❤️
