Yep thanks I'm a bit ocd with my suspension set up cause if for say you have a decent tune putting power down the motor is nothing if u hit every corner and end upside down 🏁🏁.

@@highdesertaggrorc7801 all in the set up i run 35 weight oil in all 8 shocks with half preload, 2 degrees camber front, and 3 degree back. One small ride hight spacer in all 4 back and 4 large in front. Which gives 42 mm ride height front and 40 rear and a traxxas roar tune pipe with the header smothend out that's pretty much it. Only difference I get it spot on no eye balling. I believe its the funnest 1/10 Mt on the market and if u get the engine tuned well as the suspension awsome rc. 😀
@@highdesertaggrorc7801 if you go to my uploads page there is a kyosho inferno neo 2.0 nitro the red one. I found it cheap in a second hand shop it was a bit rough but it all worked so I pulled it apart to the last bolt and race specked it by adding the second ring and pinion gears in all three diffs and added anti roll bars, added a 3 shoe clutch then dropped the engine and tune pipe out of my mp9 tki4 as I put a alpha racing 850t5p in the mp9. I got a new body and wing now the car is a race spec kyosho inferno neo 2.0 nitro. Problem being two servos burnt out one in my hpi Mt and one in my mp9.so I took the servos out of the neo and put them in the Mt and the mp9. I've been unwell and haven't been able to work yet and the red kyosho neo has no servos. It's killing me I have the neo perfect with no servos to run it due $$$$ at the moment. I really love that car. But I'm being patient with it ill get $$$ hopefully soon so I can get it out for a run. 😥😥😥
Hpi has restarted the US operations and HPI parts will be available again through HRP in Utah. They are just getting restarted. So if you need something give it some time.
My go to hobby shop "Family land hobby Creations" is well stocked with Hpi parts and hop ups. He actually supplies over seas quite often for this reason. The guy is well connected and has parts or can get parts held aside for rc race guys. He amazes me, you'll go to a rival store or two and they'll take your money, order the part and u wait weeks. MY shop Family land hobby Creations you'll walk in tell him what you need and he has it at least to be fair 95% of the time. If he hasn't got it 2 day's later he's on your phone telling you to come get your part. He is also a very renowned rc mechanic for those who need a helping hand. Even then the job doesn't take 3 weeks a couple days later he's back on your phone to tell you job done come pick it up.. No questions he's that good. And not just Hpi. He stocks plenty for the bigger brands and is a Kyosho specialist 🇦🇺🇦🇺🏁🏁🏁🥇
No I have little rubber washers in all 8 drive cups and the correct wheel spacers installed. It's amazing how tunable this truck is both engine and suspension. Pluss a traxxas roar tune pipe. If set up correctly it's almost impossible to spit a dog bone.
2 speed transmissions worry me when there is dirt and tiny pebbles flying around. At least be sure all of your spur gears are clean and no thick lubes! On pavement though, there is nothing sweeter than a 2 or 3 speed transmission.
@@charlesmcgehee3227 the Hpi bullet 3.0 nitro Mt .18 has really been thought out thoroughly by hpi. It has exactly the same adjustability as my mp9 tki4 minus droop screws. Set up right I got it handling almost as good as a buggy. It's .18 engine is plenty for bursts of throttle. I dremiled out smooth the inside of the header and added a TRAXXAS Roar tune pipe. It was just what it needed. The power of it still amazes me. Set up this way I've found it floats over bumps/humps, reduces traction roll on cornering significantly and jumps reasonably level. You still have to be on your game cornering but set as above it behaves much better. A bigger engine or a second gear in my opinion would ruin the fun of the truck. Don't get me wrong you can still open it up in a straight line and with the header mod and pipe it gets down and boogies. I love it. It's the perfect all rounder but certainly not built to run on pavement. 🏁🏁🇦🇺🥇🏆
