Everyone’s complimenting the kit and don’t get me wrong it’s an expensive nice ass kit but Eric Moore knows how to tune drums period. I’ve seen videos of him playing a crappy ass banged up beginner kit with some dented old heads on it overseas and sounded amazing, he said it’s all about tuning. Having a nice kit just makes the job easier and resonate more but he can literally make any kit sound good with the way he tunes and plays

I've never been a fan of the DW sound. I realize one drum sound won't work for all applications. When I sit down at a dw set in the stores, I'm not impressed! ! Maybe it's the heads, and the tuning. When I watch videos of thier products same thing. All attack, and no resonance.
Usually DW drums have a really dead sound to me but these heads seem to really open the drums up a ton! ... unless it’s just the mixing

The toms have smooth white Hi-Frequency single ply heads.
So essentially, Aquarian took the "smooth white" texture bass drum head concept and incorporated it on to toms ? Interesting..

I suspect he had already been playing before he made his comments about the heads. :) Just a guess.
Playing drums makes you sweat no matter what. I’ve played outdoor shows in the freezing cold and was sweating my balls off. Same thing as athletes playing football or soccer outside in the cold, when you are active and your body is warmed up, you are hot and not cold one bit.

Great drummer! Toms and kick sound a Roland drum computer from the eighties though... just one sound per drum that only gets more high frequencies as you play harder. But if that’s where you are after... would not buy a DW for this sound as I think you could get the same sound with a Tama Silverstar or any other semi-pro kit with these heads and microphones, gates, pre amps and compessors...
It must be the drum heads.
Maybe if they shut off the annoying music I could hear the tone of the drums.
Eric man, you know I love you but the backing track is too loud and I can’t hear the drums all that well. The video needs to be remixed and uploaded again. Otherwise it’s wicked cool.
Eh, sounds ok. Backing track is wack though. Like I want to just hear the heads. It would be cool if 2 minuets was with the track then 2 minuets just drums.
Yeah I agree it would be nice. Come to think of it I think there’s a drum slo that’s about 2 to 3 minutes long with just demonstration of the heads. Enjoy if not I’m sure you’ll let us all know. Great day.

We could hear them a lot better if the backing click track wasn't there or at least lower

Too much loop/ track, kit should have been mixed up hotter to showcase the heads better. Great vid overall.
Please turn off that annoying drum loop. It's hard to hear your drums with that horrible backing track.
