That starting spot is a beautiful spot - I've eaten there a few times, and loved the street carts on the road serving food over sunset. Enjoyed the cruise!

Thankyou for a superb recap of Darwin. We stayed at Rydges Darwin Central. Handy for Smith Street mall. Weather looks great. Yes Melbourne is cold now and my car is filthy. Can't wash it I hand hand surgery. Hope I can get up North again one day soon. 🙏 cheers.😊

Spent a couple of months in the shipyard in 1990 getting some work done on the yacht i was working on ,had a great time very friendly people ,hope to get back again,great vid thks.

I picked up a lot of women while living in Darwin, met a lot of female soldiers had plenty of white nighters with them :) I ended up with a US female fighter pilot, we got married and now living in Hawaii.

Hey Philip, You can and we do. Always a risk anywhere in the NT tho. We dont swim now as the Box jellyfish are here.Potentially deadly stings.
I also met a really pretty female cop too :) man i had the best time of my life in Darwin. This was all about 2004ish.
Even though its tame compared to the 80,s you can still have a great time.

I wouldn't swim there mate, full of box jelly fish and crocs.
Been swimming there for 40 years. Never seen one yet. Box Jellyfish have moved on as the dry season chill is here.

Hey Grant. They are doing a full renovation of the old cinema and Ducks Nuts. Not sure of the new venue.
