Not the Monsoon in Darwin 2025 Australia
Driving in the heavy rain from the Darwin International Airport down Bagot Road.Even though we are copping these heavy storms almost daily the Weather Bureau assures us its not actually the Monsoon. Perhaps Friday as quite a few low pressure systems are developing across the north of Australia. I am experienced at driving my car in heavy rain but sometimes the smart thing to do is just pull off the road until the storm eases.

Hi. I was the viewer who asked you some time ago to check out Howard Springs. Thank you so much for taking the time to present such an awesome vid. I left Howard Springs in 1997 so yes, I see huge development in some ways. The growth of housing in the township area is huge as it is out of Palmerston. The Howard Springs nature reserve, in some respects, has hardly changed at all but has been improved in other ways. Many, many memories. As I used to live at Howard River Park, many evenings I would take my young son for a walk along the tracks at the reserve - magic. Huge thanks again for posting such a lengthy vid - very much appreciated!!

Thanks for watching and happy you enjoyed it. The stinger net eventually fell apart with the big tides. I still swim at Rapid creek, just love it at high tide.

Memories from my youth in the 1970s. Wish I could have bought some of those beauties. I still want a Mustang even now. But the Dark Horse is over 100k. Have not seen one yet. That Cobra or the GTHO..wow.

I went out to the track today. Lots of categories racing at the same event. Nice 32 degrees.
