the writers really went "being sayaka is no longer suffering" and turned the decretum leitmotif into one of the most triumphant and hope filled songs in the franchise
Miki Sayaka, the first meguca that summoned and controlled a Doppel in the entire franchise.
pretty much and in a way when sayaka summoned oktavia it's like if oktavia had a boost in power compared to her normal doppel(most likely because of ultimate madoka)
a doppel is connected to the magical girl tho, so this wouldn't rly be a doppel but legit summoning a full witch
Red Dragon I relate Sayaka's Oktavia in Rebellion more with a Doppel than a witch because the Doppel concept means a magical girl doesn't have to pay the shitload of negative karma she gets when transforming, getting most of its power but also keeping control of it.
I am sure the Magia Record dudes picked the idea from Rebellion but added some extra details to make it different (and have an excuse to make doppels slightly different).

This movie really is a sadistic work of art for crystallizing the emotion of hope so purely in musical form, just to shatter it mightily.

i would argue that the ending was the most hopeful part of the movie as it opened the path for everyone, even those who died, to have a happy ending
Nagisa's transformation is gruesome if you really think about it. She got tossed into a blender and then poured, as a liquid, into her Puella Magi costume.
Well, when I saw Sayaka stab her in the chest and her sable pull out her "heart" I was shocked, but, when she summoned Octavia, it was awesome!!

It's called "Another Episode" but ok.

Fragments of Another Episode can be heard very clearly here. And when did we hear Another Episode first? When Homura was confronted by Sayaka, right after her duel with Mami. In that scene, apart from dropping some clues, Sayaka really tried to empathise with Homura. Literally saying "The witch is a final form of magical girl. I can't help but symphatise." Here Another Episode part plays specifically when Sayaka summons Oktavia - a manifestation of her despair - in order to match Homulilly. As if telling Homura "I know how you feel, I've been there before."

This piece represents how I feel after finally getting a trailer for the new movie 🎉
I am just so filled with hope when I listen to this track. Whether its during the scene it plays in or alone, it is just the most beautiful sound my ears could possibly witness. And my entire body shivers in a sense of euphoria when I do hear it.
This song is the symbol that Sayaka Miki, the Blue Knightly Angelic Prince of Justice, became the Hero we always hoped she would become and always desired to be herself.

Holy shit this made me realize some deep symbolism. Homura was once an angel, someone who supports god. Homura then sinned and fell from grace. Demons are angels that sinned and fell from grace, so Homura is a true demon.

Seen Sayaka summonig Oktavia at will was the most beautiful part of the movie. I still dont like Madoka, but I take off my hat for Sayaka and this part of the movie. Her 2 minutes of glory make Rebellion (at least for myself) worth to watch. Hail Sayaka!

And Sayaka summoned Oktavia by stabbing her heart, as the same way she became Oktavia (her heart was broken)

I realized..I wish they hadnt changed the ending of the movie. I wish homura was taken by madoka, i wish she had realized that she had friends and even strangers that cared abt her and loved her and wanted to save her, so she doesnt need to fight anymore, she can rest..but instead we're left with a 'not yet' that no one wants to continue.
