Hmmm. All these procedures for kimono that I thought I can make 😂 Thought you’ll just piece em together , didn’t know we’ll also measure. Good job Vivian :)
Please ma can you explain why you marked your sleeve width measurement on the vertical axis of the fabric coz I’m lost here and as well took your hip measurement on the sleeve width axis Thank you
Everytime I come on TH-cam just to watch your videos....am learning tailoring at the moment and all your videos inspired me I just wish one day I will be perfect like you Much love from me my role models 🥰🥰 I just wish I have your contact.
Ma this is lovely...u did very well ma. Pls ma what if I don't wat to add the fron band u did how do I go about the helming. And can I turn with lining? Thank u ma
I just watched your video. I notice you cut off some fabric when you slit the front. Was it half inch or a quarter inch? Thank you. Good tutorial by the way 👏
Thanks for sharing even whe you are unwell❤and its very beautiful..now my question is if you want it to be free size for all how do you go about it on the hips?thanks in advance ❤
The one I created can fit anyone even as I used my own hip measurement The thing is you just have to add Enough allowance just as I added 5 inches extra to my actual hip measurements
@@VivianOkeke your response is confusing please. Like can a guy wear it too? And if I'm sewing for a guy, will I still use his hip measurement to get the wideness of the kimono?

0.5 or 0.25
If I want a longer length,I have to use more than 2 and half yards, yes?
yes
❤❤
Miss vivian, if I'm using Crepe.how many yards w'd be enough?
2 and the Half or 2 yards
depends o your Size
Please ma, teach us how to make a oversize kimono gown, not dis particular one.. please please
Shoulder slope not necessary?
yes
Hope you're feeling beter
Why you didnt match your stripes on your pockets they were clearly not matching. You should have matched them with the band the band was nice😊
If I don’t want an oversized kimono, can I still use this same method? But reduce the allowance measurement?
yes dear that will work
are the measurements also applicable to plus size ladies?
no you have to use yours
@@VivianOkeke okay. Was wondering, ok. Thank you so much for responding. I am gonna try it
I just rewatched it. It makes sense and is easy to follow. Thank you
