Excellent explanation of the query loop and use of categories. 😊 Your videos are clear and on point. On an accessibility note, headings should not be used based on their size. They should be used on a hierarchy basis; H1 (page title) followed by H2, H3, H4… like an outline. So the titles of the query sections (our “homework”) would be H2s, and the post titles would be H3s. You can set the size of the font for the headings in the settings panel. Proper use of headings are essential for people using screen readers to access information on a website. 👍😁 Looking forward to the next lesson!

Thank you! You're absolutely right about the headings acting like an outline; I'll try to weave more accessibility into the series.

It depends on your goal. If your goal is a career in tech then my answer would be coding; if your goal is to make money quickly creating websites for clients then my answer would be WordPress.

How do you query custom post types in wordpress block themes

We actually cover that in not the next video, but the video after that. There's a field in the right hand menu when you're customizing the query loop and you can select "Post Type" but you'd need to first register/create a custom post type. My future video shows how to do that, but if you want to try it now, the easiest way is to install the "Secure Custom Fields" plugin and use its menu to create a custom post type.

Hello, thank you! We only have two more non-code videos left in this series before we start learning front-end webDev skills like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and working with REST API endpoints and using the JSON.
