The Boston Public Library (BPL), established in 1848, is a renowned municipal public library system in Boston, Massachusetts. The Central Branch of the Boston Public Library, located in Copley Square, is a landmark in both architecture and cultural significance. It consists of two buildings: the historic McKim Building and the modern Johnson Building. We will focus on Jognson Building for this time!
I was not an expert in Boston's history, so I spent a few weeks doing research on this topic, hoping to share this exhibition in an informative yet fun video! During this process, I realized that studying maps of Boston really revearls its history and development, showcasing changes in urban layout, expansion over time, it is definetely a great way to learn about the city!
