We were surprisingly upgraded in this Hotel, The staff and Guests were so lovely, a completely friendly and loving atmosphere, unlike where we live in the USA it was paradise !
That space behind the door, is the area they'll deliver room service, if you want privacy. There are two other elevators, serving the other half of the building.
Beautiful hotel. A few points if anybody is interested. If you book directly through the hotel, they'll give a discount(5%), with the code shown at booking. They'll also include a bottle of Prosecco. If it's quiet, they may offer upgrades. There are usually free gifts like a couple of "Scotsman Whisky" (Scotch) & some local chocolate snacks(Tunnock's Teacakes, or similar). That space behind the door, is where they leave room service, if you want privacy. There are two other elevators, serving the other half of the building. The Afternoon Tea & the Art Deco private cinema, are both worth a try too. I think guests get a 10% discount in restaurants.
Hey Dude, as an Edinburgh Resident, I would not really recommend the Scotsman there are loads of much nicer hotels around the city - maybe try the Raeburn which is very highly rated. My Mum and Dad stayed at the Scotsman and didn't like it as much as the Raeburn. Scotsman used to be better, it LOOKS posh but it's starting to get a bit grubby round the edges and their service ethos is not as sparkling as it once was. You pay a lot for stuff you could get for cheaper elsewhere in Edinburgh, including the nice decor.
It looks like it. The Executive rooms, Feature & Family Rooms, & suites are all bigger. Considering how old the building is, & its prime location; the rooms are decent size.
Awesome video brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible night. Much love and RESPECT
Thanks brotha
