So did you just go with the cover that came with it? Does it zip? What do you think of the green tea? Do you smell it?😊

Great questions, thanks for asking!!! Yes, we just used the cover that came with the mattress. That cover is zippered and has a definite top side and bottom side. The bottom is supposed to be resistant to slipping and the top is a thin cotton-like material. I didn't notice any unusual aroma and I have a pretty good sense of smell. One thing I failed to mention in the video: The mattress also had a a knit fabric 'undercover' directly around the mattres; it adds some cushion as well as reduces slipping of the cover on the mattress. Since we use a thick mattress protector we elected to leave off the knit 'undercover'. ALSO, instead of trying to modify the mattress cover to a custom fit around the new mattress dimensions, we simply folded the excess, on the side adjacent the wall, and made certain the rest of the cover was snug. Our mattress cover, sheets, and bedspread all wrap around the excess so it's not visible nor an interference with sleeping.
