I'm no audio expert but the bass is amazing and out of this world. There aren't a lot of draw backs to this product.

If you're thinking about Klipsch vs Polk Audio, this would be a decent choice. When it comes to Polk 10 vs Polk 12 that depends on how big your space is.

So what I think I learned from this is that it's a black speaker with a woofer cone that is tan and has a cool rubber surround. Good job.

Magnetic grills on a sub will most of the time rattle off and if you were to get the polk signature bookshelf speakers that match the sub, they are magnetic. Good review..

@@tech-asher I’ve got the S35, absolutely amazing centre channel speaker! You won’t go wrong with it. Mine’s coupled with Polk Audio Signature Series S55’s hooked to the Onkyo TX-NR686 Receiver. Amazing setup. Will be getting the S20’s for rear surround.

I've just bought this Subwoofer and when I turn it off by the switch then turn it back on the light stays red? The only way to get it back to green is turning it off by the mains?
You should get the Polk s20 bookshelf speakers to match the subwoofer

I use an LFE cable to connect, I’m sure the 7.2 version should have LFE

I bought polk hts 10. After 1.5 years, the subwoofer got faulty. It started making thumping noise even without connecting the speakers. Don't buy this sub.

Good point I actually had the music channel disconnected in the beginning but will keep in mind for the future!
~60 Watt RMS / 120 Music Watt / 200 Music Peak Watt + 8" driver = "ble ble ble ble ble bebebe". There will be boring bass from such a subwoofer.

@@HighEnergy For the reasons they just mentioned. Compare to an SVS SB 1000 which can be had for the same price, 24-260 Hz / 300 watts (720 watts peak dynamic) / 12" Driver. Or for $50 more, PB 1000
@@NickyNicest In Canada the HTS 10 is $600-$650 and the SVS SB 1000 is $800-$1100. HTS 10 was last $500 back in July 2022. SVS is out of my comfortable price range; I'm waiting to see if the HTS 10 goes back on sale for $500, seems to only discount $50-$100 nowadays.
I was surprised at the anemic power level for this sub. Even the R-100SW has more raw power than this which is in the same price range. SVS is too expensive given the price to performance. You might want to check out the RSL Speedwoofer 10S.
