EDIT: Had to mute audio during the Granite State section at 3:19:30 - 3:20:50 due to copyright issues. Sorry about that. Apologies for the loud ass audio during certain parts of the video. Audio mixing was not exactly my forte before this video took off. Will be paying more attention to that in all future uploads to come 👍
Correction: at 56:59, You claim Walter Jr is lashing out at his mother for what she did to Walter, when he's just mad he can't eat breakfast for dinner
I was struggling with a night of anxiety and I’m back into that time of year where I wanna watch BrBa again. This was a joy to watch and made a usually hard night a little easier. Thank you.
I have been having terrible anxiety for the past few days and feeling really low until I found this... Gonna try and force my stepdad to watch through it with me for his first time and my tenth.
I'm sure someone's mentioned this (3:14:25) but another characteristic Walt took was after he killed Mike he had his drinks with rocks whilst before, he didn't.
Blood money is easy s tier for me. The scene where Walt confronts hank in the garage is my favorite scene in the show. The culmination and turning point of the entire plot.
I like how none of the episodes got lower than a c tier and I don’t disagree in the slightest. Amazing work from the comedy to the editing and introducing me to a new band to listen to. Also you say the quality would change but I really forgot that this wasn’t made as one big video. It really was a consistently great video from beginning to end. Thank you for this masterpiece to come back to if I just want an awesome recap of the show without watching the thing in its entirety. Beautiful work will definitely keep up with the rest of your uploads from here on out! ❤
something important i think you missed , jessie took the fall for his little brother about the joint it wasn’t actually his, gave a lot of insight to who jessie really is
@@BeatRiceIsHere watched the whole video before bed last night and i realized how little that could’ve seemed, amazing video! exactly what i needed to rewatch the show without going through it fully
@@BeatRiceIsHere hate to be one of those people that reply to a message with a completely unrelated note but i just wanna say that you have amazing potential as a youtuber. even your bad jokes are done amazingly, and quite a few of them made me laugh. thank you for making this absolute masterpiece of a video
@@spencerplaysguitar8179 I don't think Mike would've gone after Walt for killing his guys, he just wasn't willing to give them up on principle. Walter killed him needlessly to get their names because Mike hurt his ego by refusing, he realizes right afterwards that he could've just asked Lydia for them and let Mike live.
Out of all the Breaking Bad videos I've seen, this is the first out of the rankings or recaps I've seen where there's a hard sense of comedy in it which made it such a joy to watch the whole thing. You have a great sense of humor, hope to see it return in a future Better Call Saul ranked supercut.
Agreed it’s like watching Sunburned Albinos old ranking videos there’s just consistent, sometimes subtle but non stop comedy the whole way thru and it’s always a blast, and very rewatchable like this one.
@@BeatRiceIsHeremy favorite moment was when Walt and Jesse saw the entire cartel rolling up on them, looked each other in the eyes, and said “it’s breakin’ time” and broke bad all over them. Bravo, Vince.
@@quad2fresco no...blood sisters When Skyler freaked out on Hank she said something about Marie being needy or something ever since she was little i dont remember exactly what the line was
Fun fact for you. In Grilled (S2E2) when Tuco throws Jessie through the door, Aaron Paul went unconscious and even was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a concussion over it. Every time I watch that scene now I visibly cringe imagine how awful that must have been.
Dude, the balance you struck between the comedic elements and the analytical elements in this video is genuinely impressive. It honestly feels rare to come across a big retrospective like this with jokes that are actually funny and don’t hinder the pacing or dilute the overall analysis. Really tight editing as well, definitely subbing
Still kinda crazy that Badger and Pete were just the secret identities of the two best hit men west of the Mississippi. They kept acting the entire time too, they're so good at their job they blend in even when they don't need to.
1:33:07 Damn its crazy how Gus was able to teleport from right in front of them to on the balcony after killing Victor. Just to show how hes much mote powerful than they could ever guess
The point of the fly in Walts room cannot be that he thinks that his room is bugged. Jessie killed the fly only AFTER Walt "confessed" to letting Jane die by apologizing for it. The fly was his guilt. Going to bed that night, he sees another fly, realizing that the guilt of what he has done thus far wont leave him. The day after he kills Mike, what does he see on his light? A fly.
There's also that, after that episode,we see Walt sleep just fine in various instances during the rest of the show (contrary to what is shown in the fly episode where he only falls asleep with pills). It's kinda like he loses the guilt,or rather, isn't affected by it anymore at that point.
@@baggybonesi completely agree with you and i have just an extra layer to add to it. To me, the fly is significant because the demon the Beelzebub from the bible translated to the lord of the flies. I like to see Walt as whenever he sees a fly, they are coming from him, being a manifestation of his conscience. Its how we all have the capability to commit acts of deep evil, and but how we haven’t fully developed or understood it as we haven’t acted on it. This in turn shows Walters decent to evil, and in the end he embraces his role as the villain, finally embracing his role as the Beelzebub. I know this is a little far fetched an a bit wordy, but to me this adds extra meaning to Walter’s role in breaking bad.
Keep in mind his attitude towards the Mike guilt is less fearful than the flies before. In that scene in Vamanos, Walt seems to have learned to enjoy staring at that fly.
@@baggybonesI also like applying that logic to Salud when Walt doesn’t wake up for really long time, as kind of also showing his lack of guilt for what he said to Jesse in Bug. Of course that’s not what was intended, and doesn’t really make sense, but I like thinking of it that way.
The Pizza bit was arguably the best thing I’ve seen Breaking Bad wise in a while, I loved that so much. Please continue writing bits while half asleep because that was so good
Kafkaesque is high A tier. Jesse’s story about his box is so great. It perfectly depicts how he views himself as truly irredeemable trading away his potential for drugs. There’s also a lot of room for interpretation which invites good debate over whether or not Jesse’s story was real and it paralleled his current situation, or if it was a metaphor for what was going on in his current situation. Other than that, your tier list is pretty spot on. The video was hilarious btw which made it all the more enjoyable.
The train robbery was honestly one I felt yanked my emotions around like crazy. I was SO ecstatic for them to pull that off and then the massive switch up at the end when Todd shoots the kid. Talk about emotional whiplash!
It's important to note that Vince Gilligan used his annoying neighbor's kid for that scene, and Todd really shot and killed them. It really allowed for the actors to show their real emotion in that scene. Really impressive!
@@altectechy thats completely false. the kid was just some random one who rolled onto set. todd's actor had a mental panic and shot him. vince liked it so much that he kept it in the show. VRAVO, BINCE!
@@sillylilstellabruh no how do people get it so wrong, the kid was the owner of the train prop that they ended up accidentally breaking between shots during the shoot so he wandered on set about to give them a piece of his mind, however vince hated that he ruined the one shot they had at the sequence so he instructed todd’s actor to shoot the fucker and just decided to work it into the story with the help of genius improv by the other actors on set. it also worked as a chilling reminder of what would happen should anyone choose to defy vince.
3:14:28 There’s the scene where Lydia pays Walt a Visit at the car wash. Walt puts up a front just like Gus did in Los Pollos, acting like a actual store manager while in between relaying information about the criminal business. Remember How Gus told Walt to stick the tracker in his car and then immediately went “Can I take your order please”. So that’s another characteristic that Walt gained from one of the people he killed.
In regards to the theory that Walt takes an aspect of everyone he kills, you forgot to mention crazy 8. Crazy 8 asks for his sandwich with the crust cut off and Walt always cuts the crust off his sandwiches after he kills him
I don't agree with this theory. He imherits Gus's vommiting "ritual" despite being nowhere near Gus while he does it. So how can we conclude that he inherits their aspects, if he doesn't even need to see what they do? Isn't it SUPREMELY fucking lame that he does this without even knowing what people's rituals are? It'd be cool if he did this subconciously - that'd show suppressed guilt or something, but doing this... like THIS? Is just stupid.
I think the most obvious example of this is in Felina, when Elliot threatens Walt with a blade. Walt just looks dead-eyed at Elliot and says, with almost the exact same cadence and tone as Mike, "Elliot, if you wanna go that way, you'll need a bigger knife". That's quintessential Mike.
Can't believe I watched a nearly 4 hours video without being bored for even a single second..There are many BB episodes rankings or tier list on youtube but this stands high above all at least for me.. Your tweaky humors and editing makes it different from others..
One thing that people forget about breaking bad is that it’s really funny especially in the early seasons. Like coming back to it you do not expect to laugh in an episode about dissolving someone in sulfuric acid.
I was only a kid when breaking bad was first released, watching it legitimately as an adult after years of only knowing context and memes through media/online, I was honestly shocked the body dissolving scene was at the beginning of the series, let alone the second episode.
The reason, why Rice is saying "betwen a Rock and a Hard place" so much in this video, is to forshadow Rock and Hard Place being his favorite episode in the BCS rankings.
29:45 This is some "well technically" Bible nerd stuff, so if you don't care, go ahead and skip. Saul wasn't an atheist. He was a very VERY devout Hebrew. Not only did he believe in God, but he was killing or otherwise persecuting Christians in the name of God, as he saw Christians as heretics. This began when, as a young man, he witnessed the stoning of an apostle named Stephen by the members of a group called The Sanhedrin. Saul saw this as a good thing, and he made it his mission to round up what seemed to him like a cult who's ideology was spreading and infecting the minds and souls of God's chosen people. One day, while on his way to Damascus to kick some more ass for the Lord, Saul was stricken with blindness and God asked why he was persecuting his people, to which Saul replied, "Oh, oh shit, my bad. I thought they were the baddies." To which God replied, "Nah bruh, you done backed the wrong pony on this one." So God told Saul to keep heading to Damascus to meet up with the dude he was gonna kill. The Christian in Damascus then spit in the dirt and rubbed the spit-mud in Saul's eyes and "something like scales (cataracts maybe?) fell from his eyes and he could see again. At this point, Saul became a Christian and his name became Paul, but he was never an atheist.
To add to the theory of Walt gaining some characteristics from the person he's killed, I think he's gained Crazy 8's ability to manipulate, since Crazy 8 almost talked his way out by gaining Walt's trust, which Walt is known to utilize throughout the show.
I love the fact that Walter's ego gets fully shown later in the series, with how fragile and easily hurt he is. But even since the very beginning, from a main character, it's so easy to tell he has a massive ego... his fucking son is named after himself.
Look, even though I agree with most of what you say 100%, come on! The fact that the guy names his son after himself doesn't show a fragile ego. Sure, there's that thing with the nickname Flynn, but afterwards he doesn't even care. But remember, I'm not saying the guy doesn't have an inflated ego, just that him naming his son after himself has nothing to do with it.
Dude the song "Pendulum" by Red Healer you used is almost impossible to find online. The only place that has a full version not live is Spotify. You know anywhere else to find it???
One of my favorite examples of Walter White taking on traits of the people he's killed is with Crazy Eight. Crazy Eight requested his sandwiches without the crust while he was kept captive, since then Walt had made his sandwiches without the crust. One of the hundreds of tiny details that add so much depth to this show.
There are some very interesting parallels between Walter and Gus. One scene that came into my mind was Blood Money when Lydia enters the car wash (which, at the time, Walt and Skyler bought). The way the two talk about their "real" business while Walt publicly treats her like a normal customer is exactly something Gus did during his operation, it really shows his respect for Gus, even when after killing him, to the extent where his business runs similar to his. Either way, this is such a great ranking, I couldn't imagine how long this must've taken to compile all your opinions into one whole list. You're definitely right, that there won't ever be a show just like Breaking Bad.
Putting 4 days out in A tier is a crime Otherwise, solid ranking! I found the comedy really dumb, but I still laughed at like every joke. Nevermind you're a comedic genius
This was recommended to me again, and I know I already commented, but shoot man this is such a good tier list video. The mix of comedy is phenomenal. The dry, sarcastic, random, dark, and witty humor is so well balanced. Combined with actual thoughtful takes, being serious when need be, and just an overall easy listen. Also, the random explosions like 1:00:07 absolutely wrecks me every time 😂😂😂
my favorite moment from the show was when Walt says "it's heisenberging time" and proceeds to heisen all over their bergs. it was such a beautifully crafted scene. bravo vince in all seriousness, the way you edited this is such a breath of fresh air. all the breaking bad videos i've seen feel way too flat, you managed to balance both humor and actual insight about the episodes so well. i've laughed so hard at a ton of bits in this video and i haven't even finished it yet. it's a fun way to basically rewatch the show. i'll be waiting for the BCS supercut video. bravo beat rice
1:17:15 “kafkaesque” is my favorite word, and I use it all the time. it refers to something that’s reminiscent of the author Franz Kafka, who wrote stories that combined fantastical and mundane elements to highlight the absurdity and paradoxical nature of life… so anytime you encounter something that’s ridiculous and absurd and out of your control, it can be described as kafkaesque. the more u kno!
Knowing that made me appreciate it even more in the episode when the therapist uses the word and Jesse repeats it, clearly having no idea what the word means
A great example are some of those hood chaos videos. Where it's like set in the hood and just bizarre shit is going down like two people in a wheelchair fighting while a man on fire runs into the shot being chased by a man with no arms and all the while people are laughing and yelling. Very Kafkaesque. These videos are usually peppered with statements like "only in (insert neighborhood"
I think u overlooked a crucial aspect of the fly episode. The reason why Walt let Jane die was directly because of her father's advice. He told walt to "never give up on family" after walt described his "nephew" jesse. This advice was the sole reason why he drove back to Jesse's crib in the first place. Donald Margolis killed his own daughter without even realizing it. I imagine that advice repeated in walt's head while deciding to let jane die. he says in Fly, "I took his advice." also, by nudging jesse, walt inadvertently pushes jane over on her back, thus making it possible for her to choke on her own vomit. she warned jesse earlier in the episode when they were doing heroin to avoid lying on his back in case he threw up. (side-story: one time I was blacked out drunk, and I woke up in my bed with yak next to my head with no memory of even getting into my bed or throwing up. luckily, I always sleep on my stomach or side. if I was a habitual back sleeper, I probably would be dead right now as I was essentially unconscious and probably wouldn't have woken up.) better call saul and el camino were good, but this level of writing is god tier, and that's not even the best this show has to offer.
I only recently got into breaking bad, so the idea of choking on my own vomit never even occurred to me. One night a few months back, broke up with my ex. Was feeling awful, killed a bottle of jack. Woke up alone in a pile. Never even occurred to me how lucky I got, cuz I normally sleep on my back. All things considered, I shouldn't be here lol
Sober alcoholic here. Threw up in my drunken stupor, back sleeper. Had to get a new mattress. And I was pissed. But then I realized that I only had to do that because I nearly fucking died. I still have my replacement sheets.
I've used youtube for probably more than 10 years now, and in that time have NEVER watched a video as long as this all the way through. The pacing, humour, descriptions and everything are wonderful, even down to using "Layla" and the Gran Turismo OST in the background. This is going in my favourite videos playlist and you sir, have earned yourself yet another subscriber. :)
I loved the Fly episode, even on my first watch through I loved the setting. Inside the lab I loved how it showed Walter's psyche. I loved how it showed his obsessive compulsion to always be in control I loved the humor I loved the metaphor, with the fly being his guilt, the lab being his conscious, and if he can just kill this "contamination" he will be "clean" I loved his heart-to-heart with Jesse It was simple. It felt like a beautiful rest stop, in the middle of a long, intense road trip. It was a nice little break, after all the crazy moments A chill, yet fun and funny episode
In the "good ending," instead of making meth, Walt opens a burger restaurant named Heisenburger with Jesse as his choice of general manager and makes a business deal with Gus to partner in business with several mixed restaurants across the US. This would pay for Walter's operation as well as give his entire family for generations to come enough money to get whatever their hearts desire at any time.
3:14:27 He also cuts off the crust of his sandwiches after he kills the first guy cause he didn't like crust and starts to have his drinks with ice after he kills Mike. I actually thought those were the more obvious examples but the ones in your video I didn't catch and didn't see anyone mention, nice
I cant even imagine what the show would be if the origional plan of killing off Jesse in the first season was put into action. He's basically half of the soul of the entire series. And Aaron really sold his character
I see a lot of people complaining about it simply because all the characters look so different. Like no one really ever has anything super big against the plot, it’s just “Todd is fat, Mike has more wrinkles, Jesse looks different, Walt has a megamind head”. Like I get it, it’s a little jarring, but once your hear the reasons it’s understandable: Todd was currently/just finished filming another movie in which he gained weight for. It’s been 6 years, of course Mike and Jesse might look a little different. They’ve aged. Bryan Cranston said on behind the scenes footage that he was totally okay with shaving his head if he could’ve, but he was filming for another thing at the time and needed hair.
Thanks, man, I was watching just for the ratings, but you gave me an answer for my university design assignment at 1:22:08 . I needed to create a logo for a "detective agency" (prompt I was given) that needs to have a visual metaphor in it. "The device might be bugged" gave an excellent answer to the hardest selections I needed to fill out. So once again I have to give out my deepest thanks for that expression, I would have never thought of it myself :D
Never will see Jane as a bad influence on Jessie. We saw continuously how Jessie would relapse and how severely it would damage his mental state once he was starting to get better. Walter pushed them to cross territory, he caused combos death, Jane didn't need to stay with Jessie but did care about him and ultimately her having been a user before just gave the chance for her to rifle it again and start spiraling. Ahhh the timeline where combo lives and Jessie doesn't relapse.....that's the dream.
jesse took drugs when he was ina bad mental state, he seems like his mental health is declining when he gets off drugs because everytine he does some shit happens because of walt. he got into drugs with jane while he was happy and was abusing drugs a lot harder than his normal drug abuse. jane amplified his addictive tendencies and i belive that if she hadnt died that night it would have been just a matter of time that theyd bith od on heroin.
a lot of people will disagree but if that night jane didn't die and they somehow managed to run away, jessie and jane would have ended up like spooge and "skank" from peekaboo
As a recovering addict, their pairing was definitely bad for both of them. A recovering addict needs to stay faaaaaar away from any current addicts. Trust me
@@filipferencak2717 I work with a few recovering Addicts and that's all I've ever heard, and I understand that, Jeese always did the right thing by telling Jane not to be there and he was gonna get high, she made the choice to be with the person she was loving and could see hurting, I haven't been through addiction, but wanna assume she did the process of wanting to be there and getting the pain and maybe thinking she wouldn't slip? But then absolutely she fell into that hole. Just sucked since it always seemed like Jane was in the right direction till they relapsed, then just the mutual fuel of Fuck This, it's only us, got amplified.
@@the4GIVEN Jane definitely amplified those situations, she was a harder addict than Jesse but it also showed how well she was doing with how far in her sobriety she reached...Jesse wasn't in a happy place when he got back into drugs though, it was because of Combos death that he slipped, and Jane tried to be there that night but was caught in her own addiction...Just one of those things where Walts Domino affect hit more than just one person this time around.
@@ker0356 there are countless comedic scenes in the show but it is nowhere near classified as a comedy. Lots of heavy tv shows/films usually use humor to relieve us from tension, otherwise it might become too painful to endure.
Hard for me to feel sympathy for Walter in that season 5 scene where he talks about GrayMatter. Those partners literally gave him a job at the company in season 1 and he told them to piss off.
I think it was more the fact that he wanted this massive, money-making empire to look after, and that he blew that chance by taking a buyout. I've had a lot of opportunities in my life that I've regretted not taking, so I think that's why I personally found it relatable. Walt was really stupid for not taking that job, though. Also, thanks lmao
I absolutely LOVED binge-watching this, thank you so much for the effort with the script, editing, everything on this masterpiece! Just subbed and can't wait for the Better Call Saul video :D
Oh, Hugo... I stopped liking Walt when he let Hugo go down. He could have said , "oh, I forgot I had taken some stuff home for lesson planning" and brought it back, let it get counted and taken it again.
nah he couldn't do that all the missing items were destroyed remember when walt was driving the rv in the first episode and then how would you justify the gas mask which they got from the locals
I have no words besides: this is incredibly impressive. The video flows so smoothly, and the jokes don't distract from the analysis at any point. Absolute banger, this is the kind of content I'd expect from a multi million sub media reviewer

I couldn't walk the entire third trimester of my pregnancy, and Skyler is over here getting all made up and trying to get some. Woman, how? 😂 Love this video, can't wait to see more from you. Your editing made me laugh out loud a ton of times.
I think Fly is a perfect analogy for Rian Johnson as a director. It's beautifully shot, expertly written and divisive as hell depending on who you ask. You may or may not like some of his movies. But you can't deny he always keeps it interesting and never has a dull moment
Did you watch the show as it aired? Putting 510 in S but 509 in A is absolutely crazy to me. When we had to wait an entire year to see what happens after Hank "finds out", seeing that garage scene was insanity.
Unfortunately I didn’t, but I can absolutely see why you’d rank it higher. It was actually pretty close to recieving an S tier in my list, since the garage scene is easily one of my top ten favorite moments from the show - all that build-up leading to such an amazing confrontation.

Dude, the progression you've displayed in content creation from the start of the video to the end is extremely impressive, especially in terms of your comedic writing. Earned a sub for sure.
3:13:30 another characteristic of this is that Walt acts casual when faced with people from the illegal side in a public area/near his family. For example, when Walt spoke to Gus about not planting the tracker that Hank gave him, Gus just said "do it" and then went back to his responsibilities as a restaurant owner, asking Walt if he may take his order to make it seem casual. In the scene where Lydia visits Walt at the car wash, Walt does the same thing by asking Lydia how he could help her while Lydia talks about her meth distribution worsening.
The wordplay you did with the cheese and mouse trap was actually really good cause I’ve heard many people referred to money as cheddar although that might just be an Iowa thing but still kudos to you

I have been having terrible anxiety for the past few days and feeling really low until I found this... Gonna try and force my stepdad to watch through it with me for his first time and my tenth.
Also, Crawl Space has one of the best tracks on the show OST.
This episode gives me the chills in every aspect.
This is honestly such a joy to binge on
I'm sure someone's mentioned this (3:14:25) but another characteristic Walt took was after he killed Mike he had his drinks with rocks whilst before, he didn't.
Blood money is easy s tier for me. The scene where Walt confronts hank in the garage is my favorite scene in the show. The culmination and turning point of the entire plot.

Walter killing Mike for no reason is a parallel to tuco killing his goon for no reason

Yo that's crazy
Please continue writing bits while half asleep because that was so good
I just finished the video essentially and the second pizza reference was amazing holy shit
But it was real, we see him crafting the box in a cold opening from a later episode.
@@antraxxslingshots I think that was a daydream

The train robbery was honestly one I felt yanked my emotions around like crazy. I was SO ecstatic for them to pull that off and then the massive switch up at the end when Todd shoots the kid. Talk about emotional whiplash!
Exactly. Well said.
It's important to note that Vince Gilligan used his annoying neighbor's kid for that scene, and Todd really shot and killed them. It really allowed for the actors to show their real emotion in that scene. Really impressive!

3:14:28 There’s the scene where Lydia pays Walt a Visit at the car wash. Now imagine that kid was the same kid that Todd shot (ik its impossible timewise, but that would be an insane twist which would hurt Jesse even more)
In regards to the theory that Walt takes an aspect of everyone he kills, you forgot to mention crazy 8. Crazy 8 asks for his sandwich with the crust cut off and Walt always cuts the crust off his sandwiches after he kills him
My favourite one
The only way i eat my sandwiches
I don't agree with this theory.
He imherits Gus's vommiting "ritual" despite being nowhere near Gus while he does it.
So how can we conclude that he inherits their aspects, if he doesn't even need to see what they do? Isn't it SUPREMELY fucking lame that he does this without even knowing what people's rituals are? It'd be cool if he did this subconciously - that'd show suppressed guilt or something, but doing this... like THIS? Is just stupid.
@@reaperz5677It's called symbolism... It's just a detail for the audience to know that Walter is becoming the people he kills.
Like coming back to it you do not expect to laugh in an episode about dissolving someone in sulfuric acid.
the way bryan cranston yells “get off the toilet” has me crying every time
I was only a kid when breaking bad was first released, watching it legitimately as an adult after years of only knowing context and memes through media/online, I was honestly shocked the body dissolving scene was at the beginning of the series, let alone the second episode.
In "Box Cutter", I love the detail of Mike almost shooting Gus when Gus executes Victor.
That was also unscripted btw

I thought they were the baddies." To which God replied, "Nah bruh, you done backed the wrong pony on this one."
So God told Saul to keep heading to Damascus to meet up with the dude he was gonna kill.
Also the way Walt eats his sandwich, cutting the crust off
The " thankfully Marie hasn't told anyone" jokes GOT ME IN TEARS 😂😂😅
@@wilsonmakerthis guy totally named his daughter after himself
Tbh Flynn is a more fitting name than Walt Jr
3:14:25 Another good example is when Walt tells Lydia to "Learn to take yes for an answer" after Mike's death.

Awesome, thanks man!

@@michaelegan3522 Are you always a condescending prick?
@@michaelegan3522Yeah, a lot of people in the world do not speak English.
I imagine that advice repeated in walt's head while deciding to let jane die. he says in Fly, "I took his advice."
also, by nudging jesse, walt inadvertently pushes jane over on her back, thus making it possible for her to choke on her own vomit. she warned jesse earlier in the episode when they were doing heroin to avoid lying on his back in case he threw up. (side-story: one time I was blacked out drunk, and I woke up in my bed with yak next to my head with no memory of even getting into my bed or throwing up. luckily, I always sleep on my stomach or side. if I was a habitual back sleeper, I probably would be dead right now as I was essentially unconscious and probably wouldn't have woken up.)
better call saul and el camino were good, but this level of writing is god tier, and that's not even the best this show has to offer.

In the "good ending," instead of making meth, Walt opens a burger restaurant named Heisenburger with Jesse as his choice of general manager and makes a business deal with Gus to partner in business with several mixed restaurants across the US. I see a lot of people complaining about it simply because all the characters look so different. Like no one really ever has anything super big against the plot, it’s just “Todd is fat, Mike has more wrinkles, Jesse looks different, Walt has a megamind head”.
Like I get it, it’s a little jarring, but once your hear the reasons it’s understandable:
Todd was currently/just finished filming another movie in which he gained weight for.
Editing truly is everything. The way you edited all the scenes, you managed to make BB look like a comedy.
Wayyy too much shitty editing
I mean if we consider, Season 1 Was Very Comidic.
fr there are such moments even in later seasons like when walt drives to the laundry while hank sings eye of the tiger Edit: not to the laundry
@@ker0356 there are countless comedic scenes in the show but it is nowhere near classified as a comedy. Lots of heavy tv shows/films usually use humor to relieve us from tension, otherwise it might become too painful to endure.
bro I read this as "edging truly is everything"💀💀💀
I love this ranking video. You constantly managed to be funny and keep it interesting. I will definitely be rewatching this every few weeks or months
Yeah, imagine Bill Gates getting a job offer at Microsoft years after his buyout for 5K. Nobody would be mad.
This is the best breaking bad related video I’ve seen, the commentary, the humor, it’s all just perfect.
I agree.
59:45 Maybe my humor is just broken, but I ended up rewinding the pizza bit like 5 times while laughing my ass off, because of how hilarious it was😂
I can't agree with all your ratings, but you were on point 90% of the time and this is a massive undertaking. Thank you.
I absolutely LOVED binge-watching this, thank you so much for the effort with the script, editing, everything on this masterpiece!
Just subbed and can't wait for the Better Call Saul video :D
Fun Fact: IFT stands for I f**ked Ted I get why they abbreviated it bc it wouldve spoiled the episode lol

I dont even know why i put so much efford in this comment because these 2 shows arent even close to my favourite shows but whatever i am bored i guess.
And yeah i have my Problems with Ozymandias.
What are your issues with Ozymandias
Fly in last place, opinion disregarded
didnt like your opinion of the fly episode being in the last place
how did not one but two episodes of season 6 of bcs end up near the end of the list??????
I couldn't walk the entire third trimester of my pregnancy, and Skyler is over here getting all made up and trying to get some. Woman, how? 😂
Love this video, can't wait to see more from you.
“Skyler is reasonably upset”
The first BB fan to not mindlessly hate Skyler, a rare sight indeed
The only thing that changed more than Walt throughout these episodes was your energy lol
(Respect for going through all of them)
silly parts

Did you watch the show as it aired? Putting 510 in S but 509 in A is absolutely crazy to me. When we had to wait an entire year to see what happens after Hank "finds out", seeing that garage scene was insanity.
Unfortunately I didn’t, but I can absolutely see why you’d rank it higher. It was actually pretty close to recieving an S tier in my list, since the garage scene is easily one of my top ten favorite moments from the show - all that build-up leading to such an amazing confrontation.
Breaking bad has the most interesting pilot in the history of pilots and Amelia Earhart exists in this world.
I wonder how Lyle reacted to finding out that his boss blew up in a nursing home
It probably blew his mind
1:37:00 "Huell takes a massive shit in walt's house" and no more context had me dying lmfaoo
“Doing weed” 😂
Tell me you never smoked without telling me you never smoked😂
A friend of mine made fun of me for this lmao
Every time I watch this and hear you call Walter 'submissive and breedable' I get whiplash
Your editing gags reminded me a lot of YTPs, which I promise is a compliment.
“This is officially the moment of no return in Walter White’s transformation into Heisenburg, true terrorist shit.”
Ok, cool I guess?
“Junior’s breakfast counter goes up to 16.”
HELL YEAH, COME ON, COME HIGH BABY!
This has been the most entertaining tier list ive ever seen. I had moments where i stopped gaming just to sit down and actually appreciate how great these almost 4 hours were. Great and hilarious video dawg especially the pizza and dipping sticks edit.
01:14:25 if you press pause you can litereally see people just standing there in the background. normal day in Murica
1:42:23 i love this joke almost as much as the pizza one
One of my favorite details about breaking bad, Walter White died 2 years after he was diagnosed with cancer, just like his doctor first said.
genius Vince a is Gilligan
pls slippin jimmy after better call saul
I feel like I have to at this point. I'm too far deep into the Breaking Bad Universe not to
The wordplay you did with the cheese and mouse trap was actually really good cause I’ve heard many people referred to money as cheddar although that might just be an Iowa thing but still kudos to you
I can only imagine the effort and dedication it must have taken to make these videos. This is awesome!
I’ve watched this video twice now and it’s my new way to watch my favorite show in a somewhat short period of time🤣
