Yay...#diehardhomefryfanforever ❤❤❤ Welcome to the world of Home Free...this is an AMAZING rabbit hole to go down!!!! Yeah that would be Austin who sustained that note!!! Everything they do is PHENOMENAL in my opinion!! Tim actually tutored Avi so he could go lower and Tim has a 5 octave range!!! Great reaction...👏❤👏 #musicismytherapy
Your face face when Avi sings is priceless.......I have the same silly grin on my face too.....and I've seen this about 50 times...lol His voice is like warm honey....makes my toes curl...oh enough of that...lol Love Home Free ....their Bass Tim Foust is brilliant but different kind of sound if you get me...Did you notice at the end Avi puts on a cowboy hat lol....he's great mates with Home Free
@@RosheenQuynh I was so shattered when he left PTX and to this day can't watch any of their new stuff. But I'll continue to follow Avi & also rewatch all his PTX stuff...that's why I love 'Reactors'
@@justlinsu I fully understand. I was like that at first. What made me listen to Matt is that Avi chose him. The fact that he's Avi-approved eased my heartache 😊 Matt KILLED it in Cologne!
I am so glad that you are finally getting to enjoy Home Free!! You are in for a wild ride!! Your subs will definitely go up too! Home Fries as we fans are called are very loyal!! ❤️😍 The bass Tim Foust from Home Free hit that last note.
It was definitely a little Reggae beat in there! Home Free: "How Great Thou Art" "Man of Constant Sorrow" "Mayday" "Elvira" they even covered Shakira's "Try Everything" from Zootopia and it was amazing. omg there's so many lol
Welcome to Home Free. They have a great cover of End Of The Road by BoyzllMen and a new powerful video called Everybody Walking This Land. They are billed as country acapella, which they do beautifully, but they are so much more.
Home Free is another rabbit hole you are going to want to go down!! Tim Faust is an awesome bass, Adam Rupp is an incredible beat boxer and Austin Brown is their tenor lead vocalist, then there is Rob Lundquist and Chris Rupp (who has now been replaced by Adam Chance). You should check out Champagne Taste On a Beer Budget (Avi Kaplan makes a cameo towards the end of that video), Quarentine, Mayday, Meet in the MIddle, and Honey, I'm Good.
Yay!!! In comes the home fries! Glad you enjoyed this one. Yes they were also on the Sing Off. They won the season after Pentatonix won. You should watch both Ptx and Home Free's journey on the Sing Off. It will really show how much they progressed. You should check out Home Free- blue ain't your color. It always give me a pick me up. Can't wait till your live! See you soon ❤
Hillbilly Bone, Country Boy, Man of Constant Sorrow, How Great Thou Art, Do You Hear What I Hear, Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget, Butts Remix, All About That Bass, Misty Mountain (bass Tim Foust & Peter Hollens), Children Go Where I Send Thee, Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On, In The Blood, Blue Ain't Your Color, Love Train, Everybody Walkin This Land, Mayday, Meet Me In The Middle...
Pentaholics and Home Fries get together very well. Both groups georgeous. Ranges insane, cool members, great beat boxers. Where ptx is Eleganz and beauty, home free is exellece and fun, but have serious stuff too. Home free also writes good songs. Suggest "Champagne Taste". Enjoy.
Great reaction! You are not only a Pentaholic you are also now a Home Fry! These guys are really good, they have some songs that are emotional and some that are comical but with their talent they are all amazing. The Butts Medley is pretty good if you want a bit of a chuckle. God Bless the USA gets you right in your heart. Enjoy!
Great reaction as always and welcome to Home Free! Please do more of them. Their bass, Tim has a ridiculous range and Austin has a beautiful voice as well. Try their versions of man of constant sorrow, how great thou art and End of the Road. Then (and only then) do their version of Mayday! Ok, more rabbit hole fun and I’m still watching and enjoying!
If this is your first experience with Home Free then you're in for a treat. I'm not a country fan but I love this group. Their harmonies are unbelievable.
You should definitely give Voiceplay a listen! They are an acapella group as well and were also on the "Sing Off." They are a addicting as PTX and Home Free. Some of my favorite Voiceplay recommendations are "Warriors", "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Daddy Sang Bass", "Trapped/Billie Eilish", "Boy Bands in 5 Minutes", and for a bass junkie "Oogie Boogie Song."
Jewel, one of the judges on the Sing Off called this Acapella country reggae; but they do all styles of music. They all get a chance to shine in solos. Try End of the Road, Yours, Everybody walking this Land, Go rest high on that mountain (church sessions); Love me Like That, Helplessly Hoping, Do you hear what I hear and after a quite a few songs to 'get' what they all sound like then react to Mayday. All of their songs are awesome. Their mashups are also amazing with fantastic seamless arrangements. Boondocks/Fishin in the dark, Butts remix, Women, Amen/ Female, Sea Shanty medley. Great reaction🙂
I would love to see more Home Free reactions. They are great, I love their music. The others already gave some great suggestions. I would love to see you reacting to Man of Constant Sorrow or Down to the Honkytonk ;) And yes, their´re the only country acapella group so far...
Home Free has something for all of your moods. For a bit of silliness, try All About That Bass, Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, Country Fried POP Medley, or the Butts Remix. For a more serious side, Go rest High on That Mountain or (my personal fave) How Great Thou Art. Also check out Elvira, Seven Bridges Road, End Of The Road, and Man of Constant Sorrow. Can’t go wrong with these guys. I promise you!
I had front-row VIP tickets to see Home Free this past April, but of course the concert was canceled due to the pandemic 😥 ...they're another group of fantastic individual singers with a top-notch beatboxer. Great sense of humor too. Since The Sing Off, they've also had one member leave (Chris Rupp, one of the founders) and a 'new guy' come in (baritone Adam Chance, not to be confused with the beatboxer Adam Rupp). I'm sure plenty of Home Fries will refer you to the most popular vids like Man of Constant Sorrow, but if you want to hear Chance do his thing I recommend I Can't Outrun You.
Here’s some songs to take a look at: -“Where are U Now” by Pentatonix (cover of Justin Bieber) -“Run to You” by Pentatonix (original, written by Avi) -“My Mind” , “Evergreen” and “Gravity” by Yebba (start with My Mind!) -and if you haven’t already, “Feeling Myself” (Beyonce/Nicki Minaj cover) by Superfruit!!!!
Welcome to the Home Free journey. Many fans and many of us look for anyone who reacts to our guys. You are in for quite a treat. Your love of talent will make your reactions *real*. Looking forward to more from you.
I would recommend a couple to watch. Todrick Halls "Wizard of ahhs" featuring Pentatonix. Also Pentatonix and Lindsey Stirling's "Radioactive" which features Kevin playing the cello as well as beat boxing. Love Home Free but still catching up with them.
Shaun, one really cool song they covered was Boy's to Men cover of "End of the Road" they have a huge catalog of just excellent covers Helplessly Hoping, In the Blood, and some original songs...I promise you'll be amazed at the variety of music they produce! have fun, don't binge...treat this group like a great wine...enjoy it slooowwwly a bit at a time...LOL
Tim Foust, Home Free's bass, has a 5+ octave range and (Adam) Chance, the new fellow since 2016 brought in when Chris Rupp (baritone and original founder left, but he is in older videos) has a 4 octave range. Adam Rupp is the beat boxer and only original member of the group. Rob Lundquist is the fellow with the glasses and the lovely tenor then there is the young guy that you liked, Austin Brown, high tenor. They are a pretty well rounded and versatile group of fellows. If you are going to start with their Sing Off journey, I'm coming along for the ride! I'd suggest Everybody Walkin' This Land, Meet in the Middle, Can't Stop the Feeling, Catch Me if You Can, Do You Hear What I Hear and Man of Constant Sorrow. Welcome to Home Free and thank you! ^_^

Welcome to the Home Free family...soon you'll be a Home Fry (Home Free fans) You need to listen to Home Free's cover of End of the Road by Boyz2Men & one of their originals Lonely Girl's World.....
Home Free is great! Very different than PTX, but love them too. They won Sing Off Season 4 which was about 2 years after PTX won Season 3. They have a lot of great covers as well. Tim Foust has an incredible low voice but he went pretty high went Avi took on the bass for awhile. Adam Rupp (I think) is the beat boxer and is also great. Austin sang highest in this. Rob has the beard and has a beautiful voice. Missing from this is Adam Chance (they call him Chance) who is baritone/bass and fab as well. Keep 'em coming! You're doing great!
Good idea to react to the Sing Off Season 4 before doing more of their stuff because that will provide you with an excellent opportunity to get to know them and their style intimately.
Love Home Free but I’m still die-hard PTX all the way, especially with Avi! Check out his solo work too! Also, for something totally different but AMAZING, try Teddy Swims! I think you’ll be amazed!
Agreed Rebecca. I sometimes find Home Free to be a little bit too twangy for my taste, but it’s perfect for country. I think PTX has a much more smooth and buttery sound and tone then Home Free for most of their work. Not taking anything away from home free, but it’s often times a matter of personal preference. If you’re a country girl or guy you’re probably going to prefer Home Free, if not, you will probably prefer PTX.
I am both a Pentaholic and a Home Fry. I - personally - think of Home Free as the Pentatonix of Country/Gospel/Folk songs. They do more than that, but they and Pentatonix don't really over lap much, so you can easily love both groups without much conflict. :o) I really like there cover of the Eagle's Seven Bridges Road.
Glad that the recommendations make your day better, because your videos make our days better. Another (although completely different) singer I would love to see your reaction to is Nick Pitera. His cover of Whole New World is crazy.
Be sure you watch Everybody Walkin This Land. Will leave you speechless! And you also get to hear deep bass from Tim! So many more could suggest, but get that one. Mayday is another one that will sort of shock you! Get busy, many to watch! lol! Take care.

Home Free is head and shoulders better over Pentatonix. Their bass, Tim Foust, has a five octave range. His bass is killer. There is a video out there of him actually breaking a sound system with his low low notes. You only begun with Home Free.
My favorite cover of theirs is "Man of Constant Sorrow" : th-cam.com/video/-ew_bfFvros/w-d-xo.html Voice Play is another good a capella group, and my favorite of theirs is "Oogie Boogie's Song" th-cam.com/video/EbxkOntz2SA/w-d-xo.html

Tim mentored Avi to hit the lower octave. Love HF. Avi is new love

Home Free is head and shoulders better over Pentatonix. Their bass, Tim Foust, has a five octave range. His bass is killer. There is a video out there of him actually breaking a sound system with his low low notes. You only begun with Home Free.
Please please please react To anything sung by Sohyang. Preferably “Mona Lisa” or “bridge over troubled water” trust me you won’t regret it ❤️❤️
Okay I’ve heard her song once and she blew me away!
My favorite cover of theirs is "Man of Constant Sorrow" : th-cam.com/video/-ew_bfFvros/w-d-xo.html
