@@justinhickox I think the two sides of evidence. Seeing the effect (or lack of) on the side without product at the end of day was proof pudding. The only way I can get curls to last in my hair is with a flat iron. Your suggestion of practicing with the heat off is great because it does feel awkward at first. This video was excellent!! I have a couple of questions, though... I always section my hair when using a hairdryer, flat iron, etc...does Dionna not section her hair when she is making waves? Also, I just got my hair cut to about her length (hers is much cuter! Mine isn't even and needs to be fixed, but I digress... 😬), and when I straighten it, the back flips out shortly after. I actually flat iron the bottom section straight...typically the area below my ears. Some days I just curl the area at my recession line and above and leave the rest straight.
Hi from Puyallup Washington. I've been practicing for a weeding in December. I don't have anyone to do my hair because is in the island of PR. Yesterday I was using my curling iron and I end up with a big mess on my hair. 😢My flat iron is titanium I haven't practice yet with it. I'm a little bit afraid. Also I don't know how to do my bangs the length is up to my eyebrows 😢. I guess I will practice with your video. Thanks

Same. I just keep trying to keep it at bay with purple shampoo. My hairstylist says that my discoloration is "not bad" and "not as bad as you think it is." Well, I've been going to her for over a decade. I even moved 3 hours away and wound up going back to her because I couldn't find a good stylist in my new place. Point is, I trust her, and just stopped worrying about it.
Help! I got my haircut asked for a layered bob. I have curly hair, he cut the back and sides and that’s it $54 for no style! I hate it what do i do? You had a video of that cut should i bring it to him? Thank you
Justin your wife is stunning! She looks like Julia Roberts! Especially when she laughs.. what heat setting do you use for fine thin hair on a flat iron? Thank you for your tips!
Great question! Never over 400. Aside from that, of your hair texture is thin AND fine, or damage is a HUGE concern, go closer to 300. Aside from that, the temp should be the last amount you can use to achieve the curl. That's going slightly vary iron to iron and person to person.
I wish I knew this. I have curly/wavy hair with flat roots so I’ve always flat ironed my roots to get bend in lift ….but always read the hotter the better (I have thick hair) my new flat iron goes to 450 and now I have a halo of damaged hair right at my roots. Never had this issue before. I’ll try to stay around 350 from now on but I’m sad about the damage.
I'm about to chop off my shoulder blade length hair for a shorter lob or bob because my thin, fine hair is making me insane. Any tips for those of us who work 10-12 hour days who end up looking like greasy, flat rodents by the end of the day? I've seen you mention that "people don't want to use product" several times. Personally it's not so much the presence of product although that does weigh down the hair; it's the scenting that's difficult to deal with. Many people have sensitivity to fragrances, and lots of fragrances are unregulated and toxic. It's actually normal to not want a bunch of toxins wafting around ones' face and getting absorbed into the skin. I have noticed that higher-end products tend to have less fragrance and fragrances which don't set me off; but it's not a given.
Curious on how one handles a HORRIBLE haircut. I’m 65 so have had my share of haircuts. Recently I used a gift card at a very high end salon. I showed the stylist a pic of what I wanted having grown out my hair to accomplish. I walked out with the worse haircut I have ever had. I woke up the next day, contacted a family member in a different city than I and she fixed it. Long story short should I have contacted the owner, basically squealing on the young stylist. My niece took a lot of photos as she was really surprised thinking the stylist just kept cutting trying to cover mistake after mistake.
Super. Danke... mal andere Fragec ich habe 3 neue Glätteisen von yremington und alle stinken nach verbrannt.... gibt es einen Tipp um den Gestank zu eliminieren? Lg Ella
Can you give examples of this for us "wavy" girls? how to section out the "curls" that naturally are there then you have those "non-curl/wave family" HELP!! THANK YOU
My hair stick straight and born this way. No matter what I do a the curl/ wave falls out within 20 minutes. Does not matter what or how much product I use or what kind. Note. I live in the Mississippi Gulf Coast and humidity is off the wall. I can even set it wet with hot and dry it and sleep on it. Within and hour of getting up and taking out the curlers it is straight again. And I do not even have Asian hair.
I’m a 52 year old with long hair (that grows very slowly). I love a lot of the blunt shorter styles. I was wondering if your wife has had any regrets going shorter. I know she started off with long hair like mine. I’d like to try the blunt bob myself. 😅
Great video 👍BUT I can’t wait till this hairstyle fashion is over …. Everybody has it and it’s got really boring 🥱 and I personally think it always looks messy. You see it on EVERY reporter on tv ( news ) everywhere it makes me switch channels …

I can relate to growing your hair out, only to have a stylist give the worst cut. 😫
Super. Danke... mal andere Fragec ich habe 3 neue Glätteisen von yremington und alle stinken nach verbrannt.... gibt es einen Tipp um den Gestank zu eliminieren? Lg Ella
Can you give examples of this for us "wavy" girls? how to section out the "curls" that naturally are there then you have those "non-curl/wave family" HELP!! THANK YOU
❤❤❤
I want this bad but my hair is fine and thin 😢

Same here. No matter what flat iron or heat protectant I use or how fast I pull the hair through, I end up with insanely tight, fried curls.
And I do not even have Asian hair.
trouble with product is finding scent free.
I’m a 52 year old with long hair (that grows very slowly). I love a lot of the blunt shorter styles. I was wondering if your wife has had any regrets going shorter. I know she started off with long hair like mine. I’d like to try the blunt bob myself. 😅
❤
Why do the ends of my hair look stiff
I hate the straight ends I get from a straight iron.
My hair always smells burnt when I create waves with my flat iron.
I still think her hair looks "crunchy" I do like the curl with the flat iron though
What happened to the outdoor backgrounds that don't suck? I like your kids tho🎉
I don’t like when tips are not curly
Great video 👍BUT I can’t wait till this hairstyle fashion is over …. Everybody has it and it’s got really boring 🥱 and I personally think it always looks messy. You see it on EVERY reporter on tv ( news ) everywhere it makes me switch channels …
Great tips, thanks!
