There used to be a massive Roundhouse there to the right of Platform 1 and freight sheds too. When the Morrisons supermarket was built they discovered the circular walls of the turntable and they marked out its position in the new car park.
I seen some video of Inverness in the 90s of the of that old shed, where there are some diesel and shunter locomotives Those were the good old BR days.
There's another station on the East Coast mainline where I got the same kind of vibe, Berwick upon Tweed railway station is very well looked after and has this beautifully maintained set of stairs and footbridge.😊🤝👏👍
Thank you, I only went to Scotland for a mini break and wanted to go on Caledonian Sleeper again. May do Aberdeen one day, but definitely not soon. As I don’t have that much money to go everywhere lol.
See it, Say it, Sort it I was reading only last year is the most hated catchphrase that people hear in their daily lives these days.😡😖 I mean does anyone actually act on this most pathetic and irritable of sayings?🧐👎
@@joes-trainproductions5987 everything and everywhere is relative I suppose London is a sprawling metropolis, and is the capital: an obvious target for brainwashed extremists with no real imagination. Sadly, Manchester obviously falls into that same category re: The Ariana Grande Concert Bombing. But for probably 85% of the rail travel population of the UK it's an irritable noise.
@funny family LNER is towards the end of the video in the evening on 28:21, while I was waiting for Caledonian Sleeper train to leave for London. LNER only run 2 services to London a day. One in the morning outbound to London and 1 inbound service in the evening!
Great video.
Brilliant!

The Roundhouse was demolished in 65.

I know it is very repetitive now, but it’s understandable though. As it’s to make awareness ever since London Bombings 2005!
