I personally think that she puts on that lighter voice because its her “work” voice. Like you know how if you’ve ever worked in customer service, you put on your “customer service” voice? I’ve got one of those and I can tell my natural pitch is lower than when I’m trying to be professional.
I tend to kind of forget that Glinda is a witch because she dressed more traditionally like a princess. Btw im so happy she’s kind of doing musicals/acting she’s always loved it and her Popstar time went on for so long im glad she’s exploring more art because it’s refreshing

yes ! during 2020 "positions era" aris style definitely changed n she ditched her high ponytail n her hoodies which i think was a good decision cuz her outfits n looks now suit her sm more !! also she likely knew she was glinda when she was on the voice since she got the part a couple months after the voice :)
Seen it 3x now.. what I find a bit weird is the song Popular because for YEARS I've listened to and watched the version with Ariana and Mika (which reminded me so much of Beetlejuice😊) so this Wicked version is new to me ....
