Same here buddy ! Been ‘the’ edc for me and my family . Muscle memory from using all the time brought it out once in downtown Atlanta for a perfect ‘presentation’ without me thinking twice about it.. last year or was it two years ago I bought a green one just like Kevin’s smaller one.. that color is what the youngins call ‘sick’ ? ( too kool) . Few years ago I picked up a bunch of used ones at the blade show ( Sunday ) from couple different dealers … I don’t pick up used folders unless I can inspect them personally. Nice to have extras in cars or around ,,,
@theknifedoctor made in seki city Japan it's a little bit bigger than the dragon fly but you can get it in multiple colors. And man it's a sweet feeling knife perfect for EDC.
Love that pruning knife Doc. It might be buffalo horn? I went to the pawn shop yesterday and got 3 knives. They are Sabre 2 blade,Swiss buck, and a camp knife made in Spain.
Kevin you got a bunch of blades the other day and I'm sure you have replacement parts for that 3 blade. Great video and a great haul GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸 🙏
Great knives kevin love that saynor black handle knife and that imperial easy open. I can't say thank you enough for your Chanel love your videos watch everyday.
Wow great video doc! I'm so jealous you come across all these trapper locks and I can't find one myself lol! All knives matter. God bless you and your family!
Also, Kevin. I didn't catch what part of Florida you were going to, but this weekend in Pensacola is our gun and knife show. If you are going to be over this way, feel free to reach out. I've scored some pretty solid deals in the past. There's also a couple of local shops I know that may have some good deals.
Awesome gifts! Thanks for the shoutout! I’m glad you got those blades and sheath! Can’t wait to see those auction knives. Have a great weekend and trip to Florida!
Greetings , and good morning. Just n time for morning cup. For this retired guy . Just a tip for new hunter gatherers . I think some of my best knife deals was found at gun shows . And being the first one there … as with any show ( sometimes I would go to antique shows too). I would be there early and go to the back where the new dealers would be. And sometimes it even not too many times, but I would get in early when they were setting up.,,, either buy the table if they were cheap. Or because of my profession one place would let me in as a courtesy. ( sometimes any working man’s uniform would do .. at least in the ‘olden’days.) Area flea market’s same way , you have the regular folks selling the same old stuff upfront.. and you have folks selling out the backs of their trucks in the back. Besides knives I have picked up a lot of old wooden tool boxes and chests that were just falling apart… it’s amazing what wood glue and tung oil does to old wood. Repurposing old objects has kept my sanity durin my working years and has given my retirement years some ‘meaning’ . I hate seeing wood rot . And what guy doesn’t like to see woodgrain appear on a project he’s working on? How satisfying is that? 38 years ago my wife borrowed my truck to bring home a porch swing attached to a A frame. We just moved into our honeymoon cottage. (Still there) . When ever I have some tongue, oil or deck oil leftover from a project I’ll use it and clean out the brush on it. It sits in our front yard not far from our fire pit often I like to point that out to young people. What maintenance does.. it is unbelievable it is still around.. I mean it’s not protected from the weather.. other than an annual wash n the oilin. Ok done with the coffee break .. got to move around and get something done.. you know what they say. Motion is lotion.(on the old muscles)
Another fine video Kevin, I do love the Flag sign for the new shop. Is the knife on there metal or is it wood painted to look like metal. Mark did such a great job on it I cannot tell?
Man, Doc, you work soo hard! I appreciate you. You are very disciplined in your efforts. I have been working on some knives, and it’s work! But fun. I have to tune in daily. I’m hooked 😃
Kevin, I heard you mention Randall knives on this video. A while ago I sent you a brosure from Randall. Did you find that Schrade knife that was in the bed of that model Ford F100?

USA MADE??
In your friends knife block is the honing steel case? If not let me know I'm pretty sure I have a vintage case honing steel around here somewhere.
Awesome!! It’s Ontario Knife Company I think.
Send that Buck 301 stockman back to buck for a new blade!
What part of Florida will you be in?
Panama City. My youngest son lives there. Manages a Bank in Laguna Beach.
Iwo Jima sand. Is my guess.
Okay, you have probably answered this many times but I have to ask. How many dadgum knives do you have in your collection?
Maybe 1k?? Never counted
Look at you Kevin
🤠👍
How rare is a Queen #75 Hunting and Combat Knife with Winterbottom bone-stag handles, manufatured between 1958-1960?
I would say pretty rare. Especially in great shape.
@@theknifedoctor Yes, the knife is still polished, with the factory edge. Only issue is the sheath, which has som abrasions and cracks from age.
Volcanic sand made into a paperweight?
Iwo Jima sand.
that Saynor is worth around $300
Wow!!
That's a nice Case Exchanger. I'll give you $49 for it......😂😂😂
LOL
20:00 Can we make a trade ?
What knife was it?
