Mr Kevin - that German switchblade knife is sick ! And those Imperial fixed blades look like the real deal - unused - maybe should have another look at them - cheers 😊
I’m going back!
can’t wait to see you clean up that old colonial!
I’m about to jump on it!!
great finds
Thank you!!
Hi Kevin, another great video, I had to play it three times it's great. I had a coffee with it and it's a pleasure to watch, nice work! Your knife hunting is great, going through pawnshops and flea markets with you and everything is great!😉🔪👍👌
Thank you!!
@@theknifedoctor 🙂
What a great hunt. you found some treasures. Thank you for inspiring so many of us to rejoin the hunt. I love the Cattaraugus I found yesterday in a case of old knives. Like you always say, "You never know what you're gonna find". Thank you Kevin, you're a great Doctor!!
Awesome sir!! It’s a Beautiful Knife!!
I bet that Herbertz switchblade could pay for all your other purchases for the day combined! I really like that Colonial barlow very unique as far as Colonials go! I am so glad you said about finding a cheap knife and falling in love that describes me and Rough Rider knives lol!
🤠👍
Them are real imperial knives
The spiderco was a awesome deal
Good! I just don’t know about them yet to determine if they’re fake or not.
@@theknifedoctor they don’t make fake old models
Nice haul. I picked up a 1998 Case like you got. Paid $7 for it. It’s in great condition. The Benchmade you saw with the Spyderco type hole is the Griptilian 550. I have one. It’s a great knife. The Spyderco ones you found were not fakes. The first was the Centofante 3 made in Seki-City. The second one was the Tenacious. It’s in Spyderco’s semi-budget line. It is made in China but it is very well made. Uses 8Cr13MoV steel. Even though China made it’s Spyderco’s heat treatment that makes them tons better than most other China made knives.
Those imperial fixed blades are legit. Those were decent prices on them too. They made them with the plastic handles back in the day. They looked so good because they were never used. I was drooling when you was showing them.
Im going back
Bakelite maybe? Especially from the 40's that's what I would think
Hey Kevin! It’s Matthew, the younger guy you met in Hawkinsville at peaches to beaches. That’s my little booth you found those knives at. I’m glad you found you a few things! I try to always put more stuff in there so be sure to stop by again sometime!
Were you on the video?

At the Rise and Shine antique store, I loved it when you saw that cabinet full of knives and you said, “ooh boy, they have some knives.” What an awesome find..!! I really loved it when you got $200 worth of knives knocked down to $170. That was some good hunting, I’m still smiling. Your videos make my day, Doc. Thanks for that..!
Thank you so much for sharing this!! I love the Hunt!! Thanks for woman!! God Bless you!!
I bought one of those stag handled German knives it’s a individual family own business that hand makes every knife. It took me forever to find out. It’s origin but finally did but it’s the same maker as that switchblade in the same handle. Mine is about an inch shorter sword like a Wedler that blew my mind.
That spyderco from seki city Japan is a pretty old knife. I own several spydercos and most are from Japan. I like them better than the golden Colorado factory
I was afraid it could be fake
Great video, doc. That Buck 841 sprint pro is an awesome knife. I have one and a 940 Osborne as well, the Buck is always in my pocket more. People sleep on some of bucks modern folders 🇺🇸
The first Spyderco you put back is a good'n... If its under $100 its a steal! Great stuff as always brother!!!
Kevin you gotta get up on ur benchmade knives. That lockback case knife is 9.99 at my local hardware store
Another great video would love to see your impressions of the spyderco manix 2 I now have 4 in different variations being a southpaw it has become my favorite model of spyderco 🔥
These people have lost their minds on the prices of the knives they got for dirt cheap
Very cool store what town was that rise and shine antiques in. Very cool
The Victorinox is the 58mm companion
Nice finds! I have a camo Case lockback like the black one you found. The small version (225) is more common. I like the smaller inexpensive knives like those also. Simple EDC user.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing this!
I just found your channel and I do something similar just not as regularly. Love it and you have a new subscriber. Oddly enough, I remember seeing you at Blade Show this year. I remember your kind demeanor. We crossed paths on the Purveyor side of the main room. I'll say hello should I bump into you next year!
Awesome sir!!! Thank you and Welcome Aboard!!
Quite a haul, Doc! I'm looking forward to seeing those cleaned up!!😃👍🏻
Me too!!
Nice switch blade knife! Doc you need to find one of those pocket knives with a .22 Cal short pistol built in. They are made by the Small Arms company and called a huntsman. It would make my day to see one in your video so be looking doc.
Thanks for sharing this!!
Great video! Nice finds!
You should make a video on restoring that Colonial Barlow!
It’s on the list for this week!!
You said you weren't going to buy any newer case knives and you bought 2 in the last couple videos...?
One was a 2021 and this one was a 2017. I also said I wouldn’t buy them unless I inspected them myself!! Did I inspect them? Was I present when I bought them? The answer is….wait for it….YES!! The 2023 and the 2024 are the ones with problems.
It's not cricket buddy Columbia River Knife and Tool
It’s Cricket to me. 😊 CHINA MADE
Hello sir. I just wanted to say i found your channel randomly and have watched a nunber of your videos straight. It feels like sitting down with my grandfather as a child looking at his seemingly endless collection knives, learning about every one and the stories behind them. He passed away a few years ago and i wanted to say thank you and i subscribed.
Thank you! Welcome Aboard! I’m very sorry for your loss of your Grandfather. God Bless you sir!
@@theknifedoctor you also!
Love the old German switchblade! Would like to see some fixed blade knife finds, if you ever do any.
Thank you!

It was a very nice find!! Happy Hunting!! Thanks for watching!!
Awesome switch blade! I don’t see anything like that up here. That’s sweet! I love that colonial knife too! That’ll be sharp after you clean it up! Great hunt brother!
Thank man!! Love your videos on your 9 day trip! I want to do that one day!!
@@theknifedoctor I appreciate it doc! Me and my wife go out exploring and hunting for knives the same as y’all. She gets ahead of me and points things out to me 😂. We have a great time.
That Spyderco you put back was a nice Frank Centofante 3. They ain't too much over $100 so if its there next time, buy it if the price is right! 👍
I have one of those light Buck knives too. They are very cool.
Great Knives!
Step in to the dark side benchmade fan now but I started with case and old timer usa
Awesome!!
I ha e one of the Queen OntarioKnife Electrician knives
There nice!
Hey Doc I went wild boar Hunting in Dublin GA back 20 yrs ago. Me and 2 other good buddies all took down 3 big boars the biggest weight 350lbs!!!
Wow!!
Hey Doc believe it or not Colional knives are still in business. They make fixed blades , and paratrooper auto knives. Made in the USA!!!
I just found a new Clip Hanger, CH4, in Branson last weekend. With the clip, but no box. I paid $7 for it.
Awesome!! Great Find!!
Awesome buy on them knifes can't wait to see ya clean them up , have a bless day.

Nice switchblade you ever want to sell in it
It’s a keeper!!
Great video doc I can't wait to see what Wade thinks of the switch blade! God bless you and your family!
Thank you! I can’t wait until he sees it either!
This TH-cam channel is feeding your addiction of pocket knives and zippos. I can imagine in a few years time, you opening the door to your new knife shop and pocket knives and zippos come pouring out like a cartoon. 😂
LOL! Thanks man! You may be correct!!
Semper FI! from Newnan GA
Good scores! Especially that Case knife and the C. Jul Herbertz switchblade with the stag handle!
Thank you!!
Awesome haul that stag switchblade is just amazing
Thank you!! It is!!
I really like automatic switchblades😊
Awesome finds doc. I believe that holster might be for a 1911.
I hate the price is firm people……It’s not going to kill you to take a few bucks off,Honestly when people work with me I tend to buy more. Nice video Knife Dr.👍🏻🙂
Yeah, I expect that though in Antique shops. Those prices were fair.
I sell knives. I always leave some room for wheeling & dealing when I’m pricing them. People hate firm prices!
Kevin don't show the switch blade to wade he will talk you out of it. That's a keeper 👏. Good haul 👍 GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸 🙏
LOL! He’s gonna try!
Hey Kevin. Does your wife look for anything she likes when you're knife hunting? Does she carry a knife?
LOL She usually finds something she likes. She loves Pyrex and old books. She carries a Victorinox.
Nice finds again today. Really like that stag and blade shape. Be a good looking knife even if it wasn’t an automatic.
Thank you!! I love it!
Cool finds! I just knew you would have found a CV new old stock in that Bait and Tackle store.
Yeah. I’m going to start looking very soon!
DOC, you scored on the switch blade 😊... U-Rah!!!
Great video. Kevin 😊
Semper Fi Marine 💪...
Thank you!! Semper-Fi!!
That holster looks like a Hunter brand they have been around a long time and made good stuff still in business
Awesome!! Thanks for sharing this!!
Hey Kevin, awesome video. Thanks for sharing. I never get tired of looking at knives. I really enjoy the content of your videos.
Thank you!!
Great stuff brother!!!! Love watching these treasure hunt and restoration, cleanup videos!!! Love those old school mom and pops shops too!😁

Awesome finds. It amazes me the knives that you find. Great video. Thank you.
I love it man!!
Those imperials are legit! Beautiful pieces I’d go back and get them
Going back soon!!
There's a c.jul Herbertz auto on one of the All About Pocket Knives site that's the same as yours except the handle material is different and it's newer going for $250.
I tried posting a link but you can't do that anymore.
Please send me the link to my email. knifeproxx@gmail.com
@@theknifedoctor I sent that off to you Kevin. 👍
@@jock-of-ages73 thank you!!
Great score Doc‼️👍💯🏆🥇🗡️🗡️
50$ for that first spyderco is a good deal
I just don’t know enough about them to tell if they’re fake.
Will crazy glue work to glue on the covers on an old Keen Kutter? It’s trying to to fall off after I just cleaned it…. Don’t know if it’s worth anything but for ten dollars it’s usable although there’s a chunk out of the loose cover…
Yes sir, but I like the clear gorilla glue.
@@theknifedoctor will rubbing alcohol work to clean the oil off the scales?
Used rubbing alcohol to clean oil off knive so crazy glue would stick…. It works but also dissolves the factory rubber cement on the scale. So it works but use with caution because it probably unglue a shield.
Antique Mall knife heaven ! I seen a Schrade there for $8 it looked like a Trapper ?
I didn’t see it.
@@theknifedoctor it was Next to the Ontario electricians knife
👍✌️👌🫶♥️🇨🇦
You left there without those Imperial fixed blades 😭😭. They're probably gone forever. Forgive my drama lol. Great haul great video. God bless Kevin
We sometimes forget how many of a given kind he may already have.
I’m going back!
@@theknifedoctor I hope they're still there, hope you get them and do a video on them. I think the Kit Carson one isn't rare but are hard to come by. I'll be looking forward when you go back.
Awesome finds
Is that switchblade a Hubertus?
No, a Herbertz
Welcome
God Bless Brother
Thank you!! God Bless you too!!
That was a Gerber with the blunt nose plier and orginal sheath for $28... I had one issued but had to return it when I PCS'd and I got a needel nose MP600 issued when I checked in to my new unit, that I still have. You made some pretty cool finds, espc like that Herbertz side opener and the 2 dot 110..... Semper Fi brother.
Thank you!! SemperFi!!
Tjat Colonial Barlow...😊😮 nice. Now im late on my break at work...lol
LOL!!
CRKT = Columbia River Knife and Tool . I have that exact carbon fiber Bugout that id be willing to do some trading on
The switch blade is not a Hubertus. Herbertz
Once you get that Colonial cleaned up - if willing to put in the next auction I will guarantee you it will go for 10x what you paid for it. Man that thing is fantastic.
LOL. It’s a keeper. Thanks for sharing that though
Good finds. That herbertz buffalo horn handle is worth about 200 dollars
I don’t think it’s buffalo.
That imperial fixed blade with the elk on the handle is legit I got one that comes with a hatchet part of a set
Awesome!! I’ll be going back soon!
Good morning doc. Bout to head out to my local flea market to hunt for some blades looking for some made in solingen germany knives and of coarse made in USA. Made a trip to pigeon forge last week and went to smokey mountain knive works i love that place. Found out from a couple employees there that any of the vintage boker or any vintage made in solingen germany knives are gonna triple in price in the next year or 2. Also learned that carbon steel knives are about to be a thing of the past. Just thought i would pass along some information. God bless
Thanks for sharing this!! To me Carbon Steel is the best.
Happy Hunting!!
I cannot wait to see that Colonial restoration. It’s going to look amazing!
Thanks!! I think so too!
