I'm sorry. I just watched this whole thing and was very disappointed. I marched with a couple of predecessors of these guys in the '50's and '60's (you know; GD bugles) and can't believe how low Drum Corps has sunk. Not much bugle playing, but lots of xylophone (?) playing and an over-populated color guard. I heard these guys won the national championship a few years ago, so I came looking for this to see how they looked. I'll go back to watching the 1960 Skyliners. I think you should too.
This was Minnesota Brass's weakest show BY FAR in more than 20 years. They hadn't placed below sixth in all that time, and they hadn't even placed that low since 2007. They'd medaled nine years in a row leading up to 2017. If you came to see what a championship MBI looks like, their 2011 first place show is in fact easy to find on TH-cam.
