He even told me dat his mother has to give an approval before he can marry any lady . So dis means if de mother doesn’t like me it is over for us. I broke up with him immediately afterwards
If you are an African, you should understand that men love to get their parents approval on the lady they want to get married to. You shouldn't have broken up with him. You should have asked him to go show you to his mum. You never can tell, him mum may like you. If she doesn't, then you can leave if you wish to. You blew your chances.
She didn't blow her chance, she saved herself the stress of going through the trauma of what it means to be with a mummy's boy. The worst thing that can happen to a lady is to finally meet the mum, you are going to be trapped.
