Is this the Batman who will finally make me stop buying more Batman figures?
Ratchet joints are a blight upon humanity and shouldn't exist unless the figure weighs like a kilo.

It looks amazing!!! Amazing! Superb paint upgrade
I love the upgrade!
As a figure artist myself i noticed the most black armor and the symbol are glossy.
So if you add glossy varnish to those parts it will be a close resemblance
Don't be stressful because you can't make the figure feels right or completely better, the paint you did that's look amazing. You can't make a figure better if the figure itself is bad or feels wrong in the first place.
Yes great repaint your so talented
Your repaint turned out excellent, man. Would love to see a headswap between the two.
excellent job now I want to do the same to mine
Great job dude 10/10
Great work man, your guide helped me a lot while repainting my McFarlane Arkham Deathstroke, thanks 😊
The only suggestion I can give aside from a cloth cape (highly recommended btw makes the figure look a lot better) is to snag a knock off DC collectibles Arkham batman and part swap the parts you dislike on the Mcfarlene one. Great repaint as always!
Tried but the shoulder pads are way too small on the old DCC figure.
@@VADtoys do you have dc collectibles' batman arkham knight? if you do, have you tried swapping the head? the dc collectibles' head is too small in proportion to the whole body, and i think it would be better using mcfarlane's head.
What paint do you use? I don’t want to buy a paint that will chip on me.
May I ask what paint did you use? Awesome job!
Great repaint. The only thing I can think of to improve this Batman would be to repaint the grey parts of the suit. That's what I did to mine because I felt, and feel, that the grey has a hint of purple in it that bugged me. So, I repainted it a darker shade of grey along with all the little details that weren't painted and I feel like it improved the overall look of the figure for my collection.
Just saw this and decided to paint the mid section of mine too. Really weird it wasn’t painted. I just went Matt not shiny but makes a massive difference
I have this one. It has a neck problem, needs some elongation. It really makes the figure look better. You can also do the thigh cut mod, it’s pretty easy to do. I’m also thinking about replacing this rubbery cape with a fabric one. Oh, and I also made him a batclaw out of his remote electro thingy, of its front part. After all the modifications and color tweaks he looks way better than out of the box. Nice vid, still, I take inspiration mainly from your videos
Great video man think i will give this a go
For game character references use the character trophies you can unlock or in-game digital models would be easier than screencap
Awesome job
Very Goodman
I think it’s missing some thigh shields. The peg that pop on the hip also go really far into the thigh so you can cut around the thigh to make a swivel.
Excelente trabajo, muchas gracias por compartirlo
I don't know how you would do this but the only suggestion I would have for the Arkham Knight is to give him some sort of a midnight blue tint to the gauntlets and shin guards because in the game it's it's not noticeably dark blue and it's not black it still has that Arkham Asylum kind of feel where it Blends in from blue and black at least that has on my hot toys Arkham Knight so just to let you know
What kind of paint are you using? Acrilic?? I would like to paint my figure , but I'm scared of stainning other parts of the figure. What should I do if I stain the figure???
Have you seen the thigh mods you can do for the figure that can increase the articulation I know you can definitely do it because you have a very steady hand and can make a good cut
Heyo! Yeah I’ve seen it around but to be honest I don’t really find myself missing the thigh cut that much. There is usually an ever so slight swivel in the hip joint as well.
@@VADtoys Yo!, yeah I get where you’re coming from just wanted to give a suggestion
Phenomenal work! What did you use to seal the paint so it won’t chip or anything??
Thanks! There's nothing that makes things not chip if you say scratch it with a fingernail but if needed, I use matte spray sealer made for cars.
@@VADtoys I got you. Much appreciate the response. I’m still hesitant on which line to go with between McFarlane and DCcollectibles. But if I go with McFarlane I’ll definitely be checking these videos out a whole lot lol
What color did you use for the armor plates? Is a flat grey? And what brand?
Do you take commissions? I’d love to send you my Batman and have you do this same thing to it. Please let me know because I really like what you’ve done here. I’m a customized myself but I’m very busy with my customs and not as good as you are yet.
that metallic on the Arkham Knight looks absolutely gorgeous you did a great job man and I was just wondering how do you get dry brushing that good because when you did it it came out perfectly thank you for sharing I really want to do this to my Arkham Knight
Use *very* little paint, you get a feel for it the more you do it!
If? I'm gonna buy one. May I change it to cloth cape?
Need this figureee
Do you take custom orders? I have mine coming in and I would love you to add your touches to it
hi, what kind of paint did you use on this batman? specialy in the torso and the gold (belt) many thanks!
Vallejo and Citadel
@@VADtoys thank you!!!
@@VADtoys is it dark grey vallejo or light grey
Make it into a empty suit like one of those ones that Bruce got in a bat cave
Bravo!
Would you ever sell a cast of your Asylum Batman head? IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!
Maybe the figure would need like a wet look? As in the shoulder armor and the helmet
I would very much like to purchase the painted version you made
I really like watching your videos ! They're a chill time :D
Also, as someone who thinking of starting to customize, I assume using thinned down paint and applying multiple layers is the best way to go about it ?
Do upgrades to the Grim Knight!
waiting for this
I had 9 but different versions/variants.
What's the names of the color's that u used in the video
What kind of brushes did you use?
I have a video showcasing pretty much everything I use. Check it out for everything from paint, to clay, to whatever else.
What brush did you use for the eyes?
If you want my opinion, i think you should paint all the gray sections silver, like you did in the chest, in the game the NON-damaged suit is actually silver and black, you just cant apretiate well in-game cuz of the lighting, also the Hot Toys is silver and black too.
Queremos do you usually stream ?
Nah I just put a camera on my work desk and start working. I don't think people would stick around for an hour long stream anyway.
Do the last knight on earth figures
Well I just played Arkham alyssum after Arkham knight now I am on Arkham city
Why are you playing them backwards?
@@beckyross3210 because Arkham knight was in the game pass on Xbox then I got money so I bought the other two games
@@finestflea1013 I see you will enjoy them arkham city its my favourite
