If you're in New Zealand you can get the DM20 Wave 2s from some Warehouse stores and EB Games are currently taking preorders for the Wave 3s. MightyApe might still have a few Wave 1s floating around.
My friend in Germany had a really hard time buying any Digivice. Apparently the English 20ths are readily available to my friend in mainland China, but they are not allowed to be purchased in Germany. She insisted that Amazon US was blocked from her computer, and that it is not available on Amazon Germany. I ended up buying one and sending it to her, instead. Is there something that she might have been doing wrong? (This is the same girl who managed to get 2 Numemon with no care mistakes)
Here is Australia there are a few shops to get them from, prices will vary slightly. Big W is by far the fairest in price! EB Games also stocks them, Target and K-Mart too. Prices are between $40 to $29 Australian Dollars.
Hi, if I have 5 device with the same tamer name, english brown, grey, transparent purple, transparent blue and glow in the dark, does that mean it is 5 unique devices or I still need the names to be different? This is to get the special eggs.
@@humulomon does that mean that if I have all the device as mentioned above, plus another pendulum ver20th, but all has the same name, will I get the exclusive eggs on my vpet 20th if connected?
Would be cool to cover some of the differences between modern and classic pets. Like the fact that training used up DP also for the original Digimon pendulums.
No, you would need to remove the JP2 connection to get those eggs. Read through this for details: docs.google.com/document/d/1cM4tV4Ra9JsHu5E9cmmoRg8EmAWQJH_6DD99R3Vl_HE/edit?usp=sharing
For the DM20 all that matters is that the devices you connect to are either different versions from each other (A, B, C, D or E), or that they have different Tamer Names from each other.
on the 20th edition... While training. if you skip before seeing the wall broken does that still count as training? or do you have to wait to see the destroyed wall?
okay so you said in your unlocking content that you either need to connect to 5 devices or one of each of the version 20ths does that mean if I have all 5 versions that I only need the 4 connections for each device? cause not a fan of the idea of getting a redundant 6th version 20th
Each device requires 5 connections, so you would either need a 6th device or you would need to reset one of your existing devices and give it a new Tamer Name unique from the others. This does mean that whichever device you reset will be unable to unlock its own special egg.
Thinking in the long run I cannot keep my digimons alive forever... I bought x5 digivice for version A to E to unlock digimons, but... for sure if I can even get to Omegamon it will die one day
Great video with a lot of insight. I've been combing through sites and video's to find an answer to a question I have. Maybe someone here can help me. I have a Digimon X V-pet and am currently raising a Malomiyotismon (Belial Vamdemon). I'm aiming for him to become Diablomon X, and I have hit all the requirements to have him become one. I can't find how long it takes from stage VI to digivolve to VI+ though. How long is that? Even the manual doesn't say.
Hey I had a question why haven't they made a vpet with colored pixels they say its because of battery but couldn't they add a charger plus you said your saved data saves so.....
I did! I do try to stick to mostly Vpets, but would cover the Digivices if they were interesting enough Sadly I haven't seen enough to interest me in doing a video about the Digivice:
Hi Humulos! Great video! Its been very helpful for the digimon community! I have a question tho with regards to the mini games prior to battling. Is smashing A to the maximum for single battles really the best? Or are there other combos that gets u more damage? Ive been trying to determine hw many bars of hp the opponent digimon has. But its really very difficult to do so as the damage meters dont actually show how much it decreses by. Sometimes it quite straightforward. Like 5 boxes of damage but at times the damages excees one full bar and its hard to knw. So it would greatly help to knw which combinations are better for the mini games and how much damage we can inflict based on the combis.
For single battles just mashing A to the max is definitely the best, since it gives you 4 Double Strong and 1 Double Weak attacks. I can't remember the damage values for each one of the top of my head, but it's a consistent value for each of the 4 types of shots.
@@humulomon oh hi! Thanks for the reply humulos! Oh they have strong double and weak double attacks? I didnt knw this. While ur at here. Maybe i'll ask a few more questions 😅 Does using the critical combination for tag battles increase you damages and thus ur winning chances? How many bars of health does the opponent digimon have in battle? In an actual battle, does the digimon type play a big part im determining the outcome of the battle? I saw one of ur videos explaining this : Vaccine is stronger than virus Virus is stronger than data Data is stronger than vaccine Is the digimon individual power play an important role in winning a battle? Say for example a metalgreymon's power is at 126 while a teddymon's power is at 107. So if they were to go head to head in a battle. Will metalgreymon win every single time? In another scenario, take teddymon against mamemon. Teddymon's power is at 107 whole mamemon is at 118. But since teddymon is a vaccine type digimon whe mamemon is a data type digimon. So techniy vaccines are stronger than data. I saw one of ur videos stating that type advantage adds 16 power to its base stats. So will this mean teddymon gets a boost from 107(+16) to 123? If so then teddymon would always win against mamemon? Sorry for the spam humulos!
Doing the Critical Combination for tag battles does indeed increase the damage, so it does increase your chance of winning. I might be remembering this wrong for HP for battles, but I think it's 10 for single battles and 30 for tag battles. Yes, Digimon type affects battle outcome. If you have a type advantage, you will be about 16 points of power stronger than normal, which you mention further in your comment. The power stat influences the RNG, so the higher your power stat compared to your opponent, the more likely it is you will hit. There is never a 100% chance to win. For Teddymon Vs Mamemon, it's the other way around, Data is stronger than Vaccine so Mamemon has the advantage, so it would be 107 vs 134, making Mamemon even more likely to win. Sounds like you have a lot of battle questions, I highly recommend reading this document I wrote to help make clear everything that goes into battles on modern V-Pets docs.google.com/document/d/11CuxpKQFaHexAbi8jHX4UnfhZVfovwDAXo5xYZCEDpM/edit?usp=sharing
I have a question: someone know if is possible to add new digimon to vpets? Like even if is in a non legal way and just add new sprites over the real ones.
do you know what to do if ur vpet wont connect to ur other vpet?, i was able to connect them once for a copy Digimon but since then it won't connect. both are ver 20th but one is wave 1 and other is 2
It's possible that it's a battery issue, I'd recommend making sure to use solid batteries like Energizer and Sony to be safe. If you are already using good batteries, make sure the connection is nice and tight from the moment you press the button to initiate connection to the moment the success beeps occur. Also remember that you only press the button on one V-pet!
Really wanted one of those X series but I only see them on Amazon for $124. I'll stick with the English 20th ones. Still some awesome digimon to collect on those
Amazon doesn't generally have good prices, but follow JapanYouWant on twitter if you want more reasonable prices. They update stock usually once a week, and will often have DMX models.
japanyouwant.com/ is the easiest to order from, and they get new stock in pretty regularly. Otherwise, I would recommend going to Buyee to browse Yahoo Japan Auctions and Mercari, but keep in mind that shipping is pretty expensive through Buyee.
