The song they are whistling is from a great movie called Bridge Over The River Kwai and stars a young Obi Wan Kenobi who won an Academy award for it. No TH-camr has ever reacted to it. Or to Papillon, Patton, or to Sergeant York (true story with Gary Cooper), or to Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Pick one of those and because or their scarcity/rarity you may hit the viewer jackpot.

The reason I watched this is because you didn't talk much, you just watched the movie. It felt like I watching with you, instead of watching you watching a movie and the fact that when you did say something it felt natural. I think the whole key to this is watching movies you have never seen before.
1. The woman and girl dropping off Brian are Anthony Michael Hall's real mother and sister.
2. The late Paul Gleason also played "Beeks" in "Trading Places" and the idiot assistant police chief in "Die Hard "
3. Carl told Vernon it going to cost 50 bucks. It was supposed to be 20 bucks so his reaction was real.
4. Personally I liked Allison goth.😍😜 You need to check her out in "Short Circuit" and "War Games"

I just read that there was no script for the scene where they each give the reason why they are in detention and that the actors each improvised their part, it also said that John Hughes wrote the entire script over one weekend which was apparently common for him and he did the same thing for Ferris Bueller because he had to get it done before a writers strike in Hollywood.

It’s pretty messed up the school didn’t give Brian resources for trying to hurt himself with a gun but instead threw him in detention.
I don't think the school would've thought he wanted to kill himself because it was a flare gun.
