Heres some other info about this challenge vs:
- 10 Different encounters allowed
- Only able to use 6 masterballs
- All pokemon randomized
- All movesets randomized ( leaning towards type )
- All Pokemon have 4 moves!
- All Pokemon set to lvl 50 for fight

@@priestesslucy3299 Tbf to him, chilln is used to playing gen 1-3 games so before the special/physical split
Also, Growth raises both attacks in later Gens.
yeah and thats why the remake doesnt belong to same gen as the original its because the gen battle mechanics are all different, thats why fire red/leaf green is gen 3, hg/ss is 4, and or/as is six because if they were same gen with more content than the other the battle will crash after all those buffs and nerfs, if there were a gen 1 vs gen 8 whether some combos used to work in earlier gen but doesnt in newer and vice versa it will be major error, so yeah its a matter of preference wich gen you like the best, i didnt like the later gen that much compare to gen 3, gen 3 was my fav actually cuz its more classic its the pokemon games ive enjoyed the most as a kid, gen 6 was the reason why ive skipped gen 7 and 8 cuz i couldnt take those mistakes they commited anymore

Tell me how gastly can learn fire punch,ice punch and thunder punch but he has no arms
Those moves are no longer learnable once it evolves
He just uses the smaller weezing attached to him for all physical attacks.

QuickGG over here not using stealth rock till the very end even tho 90% of the battle was switching and chillen using growth on a lapras with no special moves
Definitley the funniest vs challenge yet. Was cracking up at chilln force feeding ambien to the quicksters mons putting them to sleep. Also the fact that GG was gobbling down softboiled eggs to heal spam was equally hilarous.

I know people are saying to study type matchups and make the “correct” plays, but I watch you guys because you’re not into competitive. You’re just doing what’s fun, and that’s awesome! I love that you don’t always make the meta plays, cause if you did your battles would be too predictable IMO. Keep doing what you’re doing, much love guys !
i mean type match ups are the basics of pokemon not really competitive meta XD and with randomised movesets and pokemon their battles would never be predictable.
If they're not fighting to win, they may as well play blindfolded or get a random number generator to input random moves or switches. They'd prolly make less dumb decisions that way too

I love the randomizer aspect and have watched all of your videos for weeks. But I tell ya, this one was really difficult to watch when quickgg just kept switching between his asleep pokemon just resetting the sleep timer again and again xD

Quick GG you really need to spend a bit of time checking the type chart. Switching that Aerodactyl into lapras was painful and not switching Latios into Kadabra.
@@johnstephenbernil1696 Maybe but using Growth on a pokemon that only has Physical Moves is really painful to watch.
QuickGG is learning and I would say its quite enough for him to win so I wouldnt say anything negative no one is perfect
Eh I can forgive not knowing the difference between special attack/physical attack and their corresponding moves. I'd just be happy if he got the type matchups down, I can live with the rest of their mistakes well enough. That being said, I really do enjoy their videos.

I just got back into pokemon (quit after black) and i realized I never knew all the types. So when in started playing showdown I pulled up a chart list on the other monitor and it helped so much
Nice to see these back! I like the different challenges but I think this one is the best. Stress just over what you encounter instead of whether you can catch the awesome Pokemon you encounter. Thanks for the video!

No hate, but am I the only one who would enjoy these battles even more when the sleep clause was active? ( For all who don't know the clause, it says that you can sleep only one pokemon of your enemy a time). I think it would be more fun, because if there is a move like lovely kiss they just spam it haha.

Going for the 2nd sky attack against latios, rather than an air slash, definitely cost the game. Shows the importance of knowing your moves
Showdown shows a description, accuracy and power of every move. It's not about knowing the moves, it's about learning to read

Pre battle: I legit feel bad for Chillin. The Omanyte is very likely to fuck his chances of winning. Tangrowth would of been nice. Looking at GG’s move sets...... ouch.

You should used Aerodactyl first and deployed stealth rock at the beginning to put a stop to switching. Tentacruel water pulse wouldn’t be effective but had chance to confuse over brine. Sometimes you have to be more tactical then just thinking about pure damage output in Pokémon battles. Love the video tho! Gen 4 is my favorite.
