Excellent combat skills, notice how he got the guard close to him so he can attack, and also notice how he made sure they all followed him into a narrow space so that they can’t attack from his sides, they’d all have to fight one by one, smart as hell.

Anand one technique.. you can see it better in slow motion cause it’s done so fast. Right before he draws the gun and throws the guy into the glass. The arm grab, pushes head under and spins around while using free arm to go under the opponents free arm and gripping the (behind the head) wrist. I’ve done it to several people.. you can’t escape it.
Matt Damon as Bourne was a more compelling story, more watchable. However Jeremy as Aaron Cross was a better fighter. His hand speed and power was impressive.
@@reginaldpouncey6726 Hmmm, I'm wondering if on his best day could Cross take down Desh? My guess is if Desh had HIS best day he would have taken out Cross. Bourne was like Hunt from Mission Impossible - down for the count but never OUT! 👍
Also I believe Bourne's character would fair better vs. Larx than would Cross. Yes indeed Cross was super fast because of his smaller stature, lower center of gravity, etc. but Bourne was better the longer the fight went on.
The one thing this movie was missing that every other Bourne film had was the protagonist fighting someone with similar ability in hand to hand. Given what we see of his martial prowess in this scene (and how well it was choreographed) it would have been great to see him have a fight with the final antagonist (another operative) in melee.
The only one who was argubly equal to Jason bourne in hand to hand combat was detch from the 3rd Bourne film. Unlike the rest of his fights in the entire series. Bourne had to dig deep and was on the defense majority of the time. Detch was swinging Bourne around the entire room while fighting off Nikki. But made one simple mistake and paid for it Bourne had to choke him out with a small towel.
right they work 2-10 and were probably getting ready for the weekend, grab a couple of brews and suddenly 30 mins before the end of their shift they get told to go check on something in the basement and now they have brain damage.
That's one of the very few things that bothers me in this movie. That murder was completely out of character for Aaron, who otherwise was pretty sympathetic. Heck he wasn't even an assassin - Outcome was a deep cover intel gathering program, not for taking people out. They still have their humanity, unlike Treadstone (though Bourne manages to retain/regain his), and they even state that Outcome has "emotional noise" and is harder to control because they ask questions and still have empathy. Aaron was rebellious and questioning even before they targeted him. Unless the crack was just meant as a joke (it spins his whole body around, so it might have been his back that twisted, not his neck), but if so it was delivered pretty harshly.
I enjoyed the entire series but I like this one the best. Knowledge of the others is helpful to understand completely. I like Jeremy Renner better than Damon, the final chase scene was too long tho'
Who else thinks this could have been great. Make us care about him and realise there are other agent's out there. Then make a refrences to Bourn and have the 2016 one them meeting.
I've watched the whole Bourne franchise and also the show "Treadstone" and I love to watch how these operatives fight. Their styles always seem to be something between military hand-to-hand combat and actual martial arts. Thoughts on that, anyone?
This what makes Treadstone operatives deadly , they analyse every situation to meet their advantage , they are deadly , fast and precise which you see . They don't like wasting time fighting , they main goal is to just put you down
Such an amazing movie from another Bourne Franchise. I loved this movie and all other Bourne Movies as well. In first hand I thought the Hollywood just replaced Matt Damon and they've put Jeremy Renner to do the Bourne Legacy instead. But I love all the Bourne Movies they're all badass. Good Story. The movie wasn't too bad, but the book is even better (as they usually are). It's "The Bourne Legacy" because it includes Bourne's son, who is really the truth! When I heard about the movie, i got excited because that was the storyline i thought they'd bring to the screen.
yeah man, he made Hansel look like a badass and confirmed Hawkeye's previously established badassery while still upholding the 'human disaster' portion of the character. Renner is awesome
I like how ppl go watch the bourne trilogy clips and say the trilogy was good and all that then come over to Bourne Legacy and say the trilogy sucks and this guy is better than damon....i like all of them but for me 3 was my favorite.
One difference between Jason and Aaron is Jason would never kill a security guard or cop. He only kills other CIA assassins when he has no other choice.
It always amazes me how Jason Bourne was always a better fighter, even though his adversaries were trained in the same program. The only guy that made you think he was better was Desh, from the Bourne ultimatum.
Why do you need to scan your identification card in order to enter the Emergency Exit? Isn't the purpose for Emergency Exit doors is for people to exit the building ASAP?

Once they made it to the main plant, drawing attention to themselves was not exactly the brightest of moves, the chaos of the work place could have bought them some needed time.
