I know some think that the hair is influenced solely from the Rabbit miraculous but I believe: The bun is from the influence of the Rabbit Miraculous, the ponytail is the influence of the horse (of course) and the fact that there's two bun-ponytails is the influence of the Ladybug miraculous
I quite like this outfit, mainly because of the hair and accessories though 😂 I love the wings at the top but they do just cover up her buns. The outfit is ok but like you said, it is a bit too hectic and one element needs to be removed 😅
I used to really dislike the outfit but the more I looked at it over time the more it grew on me. Yes it’s still definitely an overly busy design (I personally find the different colored spots to be what bothers my eyes the most, they clash a lot) but I agree that they really did their best with the prompt they were given. I really liked just how much both Sailor Moon and Alice in Wonderland were referenced here and I appreciate that they actually put some thought and research into designing Pennybug, unlike the other heroes from Penalteam. The hair is iconic and I actually love the little winged ear accessories, though I probably would make them a bit smaller. Also I don’t know if anyone else has noticed it, but every time I see Marinette use the horse miraculous I always wonder why they changed the shape of the glasses. I loved the big round ones she wore as Multimouse🥺
I always felt like her puffy sleeves could have been a reference to Eternal Sailor Moon, and if that's true I like that! I personally love this outfit and wouldn't want to change a single thing about it. As a Sailor Moon fan myself, I love the Sailor Moon vibes here, especially since it perfectly fits with the rabbit theme (Sailor Moon = Tsukino Usagi = rabbit of the moon).
I agree with most of you point on this. However the dyed tips of hair and the luminous spots and the red lining was enough to win it for me. The only thing I didn't like was the white spots on the puff sleeves.
I really like the outfit overall. And the hair. And lol where is the rabbits umbrella indeed. This is amazing. Although I do agree the puffed sleeves are a bit high. I mean if it was Marinette with just the Bunny Miraculous maybe I would like it better. But I do feel like they tried they're best and I like the suit overall. I’m catching up with these so adding some thoughts now. Love the hair, definitely the best part. Maybe they could have done a hair accessory tucked behind the buns like peeking over, maybe the wings or even the horseshoes wrapping around the front and going back pointing upwards. So hard to think of what to say for the outfit. The black with white dots looks so cool I think that should be the main part. I would basically switch where the red and black are so black like across arms, shoulders and top part of her chest then the white underbelly part. Then the blue hair isn’t close to the red. Get rid of those shoulder pad things. I would take maybe like a gradient from the black into red for the bottom half of her costume it could be like a wrap around part on her legs and hips how it is now. Then for shoes I think it would be really cute to add the bunny tail to the tops of her feet or the back of her heels. I like the pegabug gradient on her legs from red to white so maybe we get something like that from red to blue. The outfit could start at the top from black to red to blue and have white accents or black, red white with blue accents
I am a big fan of this outfit. I absolutely love the hair. and I think the wings on the hair aren't that bad cause they give a good horse and rabbit vibe. and I actually like the puffy sleeves. I think they really suit Marinette and make her look cute. the only thing I don't like are the sunglasses. So someone made a point today that master fu said mixing miraculous to often can make u go crazy or mad wondering if it refers to monarch using to many or if Mari or ladybug will have issues
I think the puff sleeves would’ve looked so much better if it had been a different material. Like you have this skin tight body suit with almost a leather look to it, and making the puff sleeves out of the same thing… makes them look like two rubber balls instead of cute puffy sleeves 😅
the bunny ball on the neck could have replaced the wings, then the wings could just replace the ones on the shoes. It could also possibly replace the red horseshoe on the back. I like hos the sleeves are inverted but the colors could have been implemented more in the outfit ( I get that the color pallete does not match and the ladybug miraculous is the base) but the spots could definitely be put down a bit like the spots could have been replaced with brown horseshoes. But at the end, who am I to critisize the creators, I also think tb=hey did a very good job with this still.

My favorite fusion design of all time is Dragon Bug!! I really liked Penny Bug design. I like the puff sleeves. They could have done a thin blue line around the white to pull more of the blue in. I love the glasses sitting on her nose like that too. Maybe a slightly smaller puff and maybe one extra looooong ponytail with the bunny ears or something. Idk. They've done worse. Especially with Sass and Plagg's combo. I hated that with a passion. Idk what they have against Adrien's hair but it must be free at all times!

There’s just too much,mainly up top Personally would of dropped those god awful shoulder pieces (or made them a lot smaller), had no spots on the white ‘belly’, maybe shorted the white panel to match bunnyxs (or have it start in the pattern), added the bunny tail (or had two on the boots), and just had the the horseshoe and added wings to the shoes.
Does make me laugh though that the two fashion designer characters have some of the, in my opinion at least, worse designed costumes (not all of theirs are bad, just some, and other characters have designs I am not a fan off)

Pennybug looks like a child playing dress up with the things they think look cool, but don't really go together. I think the worst part of the entire outfit is the mutton sleeves, and the spots that make the already busy costume even busier. IMO even if she's primarily the bearer of the Ladybug Miraculous, the suit shouldn't've been dominated by and dictated by the Ladybug Miraculous. If I was allowed to get rid of one thing, other than the puffy sleeves, it'd be the red colouration from the Ladybug instead of the brown from the Horse. The Horse and Rabbit have colours that work well together, but the Ladybug is the one that you have to fight with? And I get it's because she's Ladybug and it's her primary Miraculous blah blah blah, but I would have kept it at just some spots and some black maybe. But the red is just too distracting... I think the sailor moon reference might be intentional, since her civilian name is Usagi, which means "rabbit", and her hair is supposed to look like rabbit ears or something xD I feel like Alya, whose suits are usually broken up into a jacketlike top and a bottom of like pants or shorts, could have made this trio work.
I honestly don’t like her whole outfit because it looks like they clash it together especially the sleeves, it just a no-no. But the only thing I like is her hair because it totally gives me some sailor moon vibes (Btw, the funniest thing is that she has the same VA as Sailor Mars in English while in French version I think she has the same VA as Sailor Moon Reboot). Also, her hair color because it’s totally separate with her outfits which it represents of the bunny miraculous if that makes sense. But overall it’s a decent outfits here so I wish they could’ve been more creative along with Pegabug (don’t get me wrong but the outfits are just terrible to me, it just feels so wrong). Ladybee’s outfits was alright, I only like her hair and that’s it. 🙂

Pennybug looks like a child playing dress up with the things they think look cool, but don't really go together.
I think the worst part of the entire outfit is the mutton sleeves, and the spots that make the already busy costume even busier.
IMO even if she's primarily the bearer of the Ladybug Miraculous, the suit shouldn't've been dominated by and dictated by the Ladybug Miraculous. If I was allowed to get rid of one thing, other than the puffy sleeves, it'd be the red colouration from the Ladybug instead of the brown from the Horse. The Horse and Rabbit have colours that work well together, but the Ladybug is the one that you have to fight with? And I get it's because she's Ladybug and it's her primary Miraculous blah blah blah, but I would have kept it at just some spots and some black maybe. But the red is just too distracting...
I think the sailor moon reference might be intentional, since her civilian name is Usagi, which means "rabbit", and her hair is supposed to look like rabbit ears or something xD
I feel like Alya, whose suits are usually broken up into a jacketlike top and a bottom of like pants or shorts, could have made this trio work.

I honestly don’t like her whole outfit because it looks like they clash it together especially the sleeves, it just a no-no. But the only thing I like is her hair because it totally gives me some sailor moon vibes (Btw, the funniest thing is that she has the same VA as Sailor Mars in English while in French version I think she has the same VA as Sailor Moon Reboot). Also, her hair color because it’s totally separate with her outfits which it represents of the bunny miraculous if that makes sense.
But overall it’s a decent outfits here so I wish they could’ve been more creative along with Pegabug (don’t get me wrong but the outfits are just terrible to me, it just feels so wrong). Ladybee’s outfits was alright, I only like her hair and that’s it. 🙂
Honestly the outfit is very bad imo, but the hair!! I think it's weird how the horseshoe is red it looks weird like it's made of plastic.
But bestie, that hair is gorgeous I love it so much!!! The hair brings the design up from a 4 to a 6 in my eyes, the hair is SO GOOD

I have seen some Marvel fans, and even DC fans, saying that the overall designs fro the all suits and outfits the Marvel characters wear in the MCU were designed way too overboard. But I myself does not even hate that.
It wasn’t my favorite outfit there was a lot of colors and designs all over the place. I’m kind of with you though I really hate the puffed sleeves. I love her hairstyle but I don’t really like the ears.
pennybug outfit is horrible. All of ladybugs unifications are either creepy or just horrible. I only like the hair in this outfit. like how is marinette a fashion designer yet she chooses to transform into that. Its just too much going on with this outfit and not in a good way.
