@@chrismoulstone3968 well Now I know a lot about the e46 it’s been almost a year I sadly sold it now. But to answer ur question. Is do you have a face lift e46 or preface-left. If urs is 2003 as well take a face lift and don’t go with this bumper it won’t look good. Go with the mtech 2 bumper

Something I learned after owning a E46 is ,it's not worth to do any type of customization tuning and upgrades , just enjoy it how it is , just do the maintenance has it requires and that's all

there is a little plastic part inside the bumper that can be screwed into

Yup, the two big carrier bolts are holding it all in place.

I bought one of these but the bumper cover guides were different...had to cut them off. Did yours fit w no problem?
One of my guides has since broken off a little drift crash. It's a little bit floppy, but works just fine.
Did you use the screw the big e12 bolts back or did you just leave them off.
You have to put those back in, or the whole thing will just fall off.
How do you put the e12 bolts back on? The OEM bumper has holes but the aftermarket bumper has no holes to insert the bolts.@DriveBreakFixRepeat

There’s a piece of plastic that snaps on to the bumper then ur crash bar snaps onto that. It should be on ur original bumper
