We took our BMW E46 M3 and made the bumper quick release so it could come off in seconds! We also make the HARD Motorsport E46 M3 splitter quick release for easier loading and unloading from the trailer. We did all this with the following Buildjournal parts:

Just picked up a set because of your video. Did you still need to bolt on the sides of the bumper? Nevermind.. finished the video. You cut off the fender liner that the bumper attaches to lol. That answers my question.

Do the pop latches do that much of a better job than the multiple stock ball mounts?

Your car looks amazing buddy!! I'm building an LSB HPDE care right now and I'm curious how the you attached the back edge of the splitter to the car. The Build Journal site sells a piece of U Channel to attach to the car in which their splitter can slide into. I know you have the Hard Motorsports splitter but I would think that would be a perfect solution also. I'm about to buy the same exact pieces you have but need a solution for the back. I don't want this thing flapping around back there. Please let me know if you attached the rear of the splitter or just left it.... Thanks - John

Maybe a 5? Not really difficult, just one of those things you have to take your time with. Measure twice cut once kind of a deal.
Did you modify that reinforcement bash bar? Noticed is made out of a carbon fiber material? the on my car is metal. How do I go about doing this same modification with a different reinforcement bash bar?
No I didn’t change that out, that’s the one that was on the car. Does your metal bash bar have a similar setup?
