They allow you to adjust the aggressiveness of the splitter, the 330ci race car has them too. It’s also cheaper. A set of those spitter rods local cost around $40. actual non adjustable mounts can cost over $200.

How did you get the corner edges by the front fenders to sit flush? I noticed at 3:00 it looked similar to mine where the corner edge of the bumper stuck out, but at the end of the video/after paint you guys got it to sit flush. Any ideas or tricks/tips?

Did you get the pre face lift bumper conversions mounts? Everything else should bolt right up. We got our mounts from ECS tuning, should be able to select a pre face lift pair of mounts.
I had a questions regarding the video of swapping bumper covers on a e46 325. When you put the m3 bumper on, did the fog light wiring swap right over or did you have to rewire to make them work?
remove the metal bumper from the car. Then mount it to the bumper cover. Install it all in one piece. If it still falls off, you might need a second set of hands.

Depends on the year of car you have. The M3 never had a true front end facelift. So all replica bumpers are designed for the pre-facelift. If you own a facelift you need to buy the pre-facelift brackets. If you own a pre-facelift, then you are good to go.

This can be a decent option if you're trying to keep it under $100. But I would save up and find a shop to do it. if you're willing to pull it off and do some prep work, some shops might do a real paint job for around $250-400
By any chance would you know if a eBay m replica bumper from a prefacelift coupe 325ci could fit on a facelift sedan 2005 325i ? Would I be able to buy it and swap the brackets with the prefacelift or is the dimensions totally off ?
As far I know there is no difference from pre and post facelift. The differences come between the coupe and sedans. Just make sure you get there right one
Sorry for the late response! I'm not sure what you mean by carrier bolts. We used all the same hardware we only added a bracket on the bottom of the bash bar to grab the bumper.

Hey, I'm trying to buy those little pieces of plastic with a rubber seal that go betwen the headlight in the hood, can you tell me if those are the same on both? I bought 3 door e46 ones and they dont fit...I had to cut it to make it kinda fit but it doesn't look good or seal the hood nicely. Thanks!
I have that same exact Bumper! I got mine from Bummer world! How did you secure the bumper to the impact bar? Did it just snap in place! I have a 05 330 CI ?
We had to get a little creative, we took a few self tapping screws from the top of the cover to the metal bumper. We just made sure the bolts were far enough back they were covered by the head lights.The Lower portion, we made two L brackets that went for the top of the mouth on the cover to the metal bumper.
Tenza Motorsports i just installed mine used some epoxy, but made it to wear the bolts are accesible. As well put the screws from the fender liners into the bumper

To make a spray can job look hood, just wet sand and buff :). If you use a urethane clear, itll last a very long time well.

The two screws that hold the bracket. Loosen them, then push the side in and tighten it at the same time.

I believe it was a direct swap.
When I mount it on it will fall off on one side and when I fix it it will fall again on the other. Would be much help.

It’s all based on the year. You’ll need the brackets if they don’t come with it. Some listings come with.
