hey Kalyn! I really hope you see this comment because I have some advice for you. I'm only at the part where you're rating Yorkville, and I've lived in Toronto all my life and am currently going to school at the University of Toronto which is just south of Yorkville. Regarding Bentley's walking spots, I know you don't want to go far, but if you leave the Yorkville ave/Bay st/Avenue road block and go east/west on Bloor or south on University Avenue you'll be right on campus and there's a TON of amazing walking areas. Saying that, you definitely strike me as a Distillery District type of girl, so I'm going to keep watching and see what you like better! (also both cafes and all the restaurants you mentioned are AMAZING) please like this comment so Kalyn can see it, sorry it was a lot! love you, xo's
Also, check out the Annex, the Beaches, King/Queen West, and St. Lawrence Market areas!

Please keep this series up!! It would be really cool to watch you go around different areas of Toronto and different appartments and I think that would help you a lot as well in terms of discovering where you really wanna live next and in what type of condo. My favourite one was by far the second one, the vibe I got from it was amazing and you looked insanely happy there. Love from Portugal

Loved that you decided to make an opportunity out of having plumbers take over your apartment! The first AirBnB was cute, but you’re always changing things up to change your energy and flow and need that extra creative space so I don’t think you’d be happy in a place that small. Very cute though. Obviously AirBnB #2 takes the cake. What an aesthetically pleasing environment to spark your energy. Good luck finding a new place!!

Also this would be a cool series to make as a Toronto Travel Guide.Showing people who want to visit Toronto the different areas they can visit. Rating the food, cafes, and atmosphere is also helpful for that purpose!

I LOVE this idea for a video, I live in Canada and frequent Toronto quite a few times a year because I have tons of family there but usually stick to the East York and Eglinton areas. It’s so great to see other parts I might never have ventured to and what they offer! Please keep making these!!!

I love the rustic apartment more, it's more cozy and all the plants made it even more better, but somehow your apartment in toronto where you live now is sooo good that I can't imagine a better for you. But anyways I know that if you find a new one it is going to be super sweet and cozy and can't wait for you to decorate it! (Hope I wrote everything ok, english isn't my first language!)

The first one looks more like a suite style hotel room than an apartment, it's definitely perfect if you're a minimalist and it's really cute, but very small. I like the second a lot and I've only seen a little bit of it in the intro.

When I have more money I might do this in Ottawa, I'd love to see how it is to live in other neighbourhoods in my city. This is such a great idea!
Both apartments were so nice but the 2nd one is my favourite. I love exposed brick! The swing was also a super cute feature that made the space fun and youthful.

I personally like the modern look better but I loved all the plants and the brick just more modern furniture and appliances, countertops etc but with the brick walls. If that makes sense. I think finding an area with lots of grass is key with any dog and I think you kinda need a balcony with a pet at least.

  • @laurafoster327yt

Now I want to try out Sorelle Cafe. The first place was too small, but I'm also not a plant person. So if you could take the size of the second one with the look of the first one, and add the swing... bingo!

Just a tip, next time you use a bubble bar from LUSH just crumble it up under the running water, it won't bubble up if you just put it in the bath. Also, you can use the onr you had for up to 8 baths! Love you x

While the first condo was cute it was much too small for my taste. Also, who wants to walk through the bedroom to get into their apartment? It's an odd setup. As an airbnb for a few days it would be awesome though, it's really cute. That second loft was gorgeous. I love the overall style of it, the mix of brick, wood, and plants is nice, though cleaning around all those would be a pain lol. I would love to see more of these videos if you do decide to check out some other areas of Toronto!
