Class 12 Semiconductors: We cannot imagine our life without computers today. But what makes a computer tick? What's making this technology grow at such an exponential rate? It's all due to semiconductors. As unbelievable as that might sound, altering the properties of semiconductors allows us to build these computers. In this topic, we will explore the world of semiconductors. It's a journey from what semiconductors are all the way to creating building blocks of these computers.

I love that "Tadaaa......n"sound when ever you draw a figure or complete an equation. It just show how enrolled you are while teaching.😇😇

I really really wish I had teacher like you in my school days. In my school I was very much interested in electronics. So I took Electronics instead of Biology in my 11th and 12th. But in my two years of struggle I never really understood working transistor. Without understanding working of transistor understanding other electronic circuits was really burden to me. Somehow I cleared my elecronics course but I turned away from electronics engineering in my graduation. I did my graduation in mechanical engineering because it was more intutive. After my gradution I secured All India Rank 1 in GATE exam. If I had teacher like you , I could have done wonders in electronics engineering because I had natural inclination towards it. You have done really nice work to explain the complex topic like transistor without going into details of quantum mechanics. I request you to make videos regarding other circuits using transistors. It will be helpful to students accross the world.Thank you very much.🙏

that was extremely understandable! Thanks in tons!
But I do have a question, Professor, related to the microphone itself, What exactly does my voice represent in a microphone? is it turned into waves? and what type of waves are they? Or is my voice the 0.7 or more voltage? Since one electron flows out of 99 in there, where does this electron go? into the microphone? is it double wired? I am not sure how this whole thing is implemented

If you're a school student or at least not an engineering student it'll be quite difficult to explain, cause this way of viewing a transistor and just this knowledge is like 1+1 in the concept, it's a small building block, you need many other concepts of the transistor to understand how a microphone works. Not to mention, the working of multiple transistors, their connections with one another, and the different transistor types.
*IN SHORT* you can't expect to understand how a microphone works with just this knowledge
Edit: Not trying to make it sound worse, but you also need to learn some signal analysis *then* some random signal analysis too🙂

Sir, why can’t we use the same method to find alpha as that to find beta?
i’ve tried it but, the equation is inverse, is it necessary for alpha to be ratio of Ic to Ie?
