    Love the videos man! Found you on tik tok and your TH-cam Channel! A Honda 700xx was the first atv i learned to ride with a clutch. go big or go home i guess.

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thanks, happy to hear that! And yeah pretty big machine for your first manual clutch atv. But then again the torque of the 700 makes it pretty easy to ride, other than the hang on factor.

    Great content as always Rock! Your customer is going to really enjoy this machine I am sure. Runs great and stable on all terrain. The low end torque performance is just awesome!

    With them at torque he could SLAP 1 TOOTH BIGGER SPROCKET ⚙️ on the FRONt and get THAT 80 + MPH!!! Gearing is OUR SPECIALTY 😉

    Love to see the 66 series international in the video. My all time favorite tractors. I got a 10 myself a little over 11 years ago. What size is it? BTW really killing it with the chanel.

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The international by the road is actually my neighbor’s. I own everything on my side of the road but not that side.
      But anyways it’s a 966 and he has about the same kind of problem with tractors as I have with wheelers..
      By the way, thanks! I’m glad your enjoying it.

    Glad to finally see you got to try out a 700xx! I just got mine earlier this year, and it is the perfect machine for me! Got more power than you really need, but all the trails I ride on are no where near smooth and the irs really helps! Btw they did come stock with a rear sway bar, but it was just too thin (I bent mine by hand). I had a custom one made to keep the rear from leaning. Before I upgraded mine if you were on a straight and got on it, the machine would just walk from how weak the sway bar was making it lean side to side

    That is one fortunate costumer!
    I have a 500 foreman with the power steering out and scheduled to bring it to Honda in a few weeks but I've decided to cancel my appointment and not bring it to them. I flipped my yz250 39 years ago and separated my shoulder, so I thought it would be nice to have power steering because its my right shoulder and I can't drive it while holding my coffee cup😂

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well didn’t want to deter you from bringing to your dealer. Just because there was one bad one doesn’t mean they all are.
      Did you happen to check your fuses to see if maybe it just blew a fuse for your power steering? Also a weak battery can can the power steering to not work and the light will come on.

    • @cherokeesome
      @cherokeesome 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @rockspowersports
      Not at all, I decided that before I watched this video. Yeah checked fuses, made sure battery was charged and my nephew helped me check connections. Definitely could have missed something.
      I don't know why someone thumbed down my comment, I guess they work for a dealer.
      Anyway, thanks for responding and doing what you do.

    Awesome, it’s a same year & fuel injection as like my artic cat 550!! I also have a 2007 Honda Trx 400ex fuel carborated with a 440 big bore kit whiches pretty much a big boy at this point, but this 700xx is more of a big boy like the Yamaha raptor 700. I’ve looking that model up before but just couldn’t find how long they were in production though, so I can tell that it hasn’t been in production for too long though

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I bet your 400ex or 440ex now is a fun machine to play around on as well! And yeah this trx700 only made from 08-09 is my understanding.

    I see that you reply, and honestly that’s like the best. I have around 5k to spend on a machine. I just wanna have fun, and go fast. Do you have any suggestions?

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Honestly it’s all up to you but if I was looking for something reliable and fast for around $5000 I’d probably go with a Yamaha Raptor 700. But then again that’s just my opinion.

    I know this isn’t video related but would you happen to know if there is a big bore kit for the rubicon 520s or is it just the race quads that have them I know Hondas don’t have much aftermarket as is cause there just built to last but I kinda want a more power/ torque as I use it for mud

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don’t believe they have any big bore’s out yet. They have programmers and exhaust but that’s not going to gain a ton. For your mud riding you could do a gear reduction, but this adds up pretty quick in labor because it’s a bit of a job to swap out.

    • @thomaslangton7099
      @thomaslangton7099 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rockspowersports yea I didn’t think so as these Hondas are built tough as it is and I was thinking of a gear reduction but I’m not sure cause it may lower my top end more than I would like and I was thinking of portals but that would do the same I do believe

    • @thomaslangton7099
      @thomaslangton7099 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rockspowersports it would be nice to see these Hondas actually get some aftermarket but I have heard the reason Honda is getting worse is because the decline in performance/utility while also trail/mud riding as they only gone to a 680 and those only have 3 gears if I am correct but they still charge the same old 13k for a bike that doesn’t really change in design or motor size

    • @rockspowersports
      @rockspowersports  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve actually never cared for the rincons for mud machines any ways. With the 3 gears they are very height geared in 1st. If you go with bigger tires you need to do a gear reduction on them..
      I haven’t actually driven the rubicon 520 yet so not sure on the power. With the gear reduction you would absolutely lose quite a bit of top speed.

    • @thomaslangton7099
      @thomaslangton7099 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rockspowersports yea I was looking at getting a rincon before the rubicon but I watched your video and found it very informative so and I didn’t like the 3 gear idea either cause isn’t it supposed to be a trail/utility like the foreman and rubicons
