This segment was an absolute delight, with so many highlights (my personal favourite being Tyler's insistence that he hadn't submitted a meme, followed immediately by "YOUNG MONEY!"). I don't know if we'll get a Twitch Makes Music at next year's event or not, or if it wouldn't work as part of an in-person Colosseum, but I hope we get to see something like this again some time!
I love the TRG makes music segment. It is so nice seeing all of these talented people coming together to make something, even if some of them aren’t as musically inclined as the others. I’ll be sad if they are unable to continue this segment in future colosseums once they can have the events in person again.
I loved this segment so much, both this year and last. One of the segments that I feel actually works better when they're all at home. That being said, I would love if this segment could come back somehow, even if they're in person. I still very much want One Winged Angel
57:54 is where Tim's part starts. I was suffering from some significant digestive tract issues back when I first watched the VOD of this, so maybe that's why these particular toilet lyrics stuck with me more than most of them that Tim has come up with over the years. What a thing to get stuck in your head, am I right?
The best part about that is, just like his story back in Colosseum 2019, these lyrics were based on something that happened to him…or at least that’s what he said in chat while this was playing.
@@Rexaura888 Interesting. I didn't know it was based on personal experience. My own issues were much more complicated than you probably care about, but I was having painful abdominal cramping that started the evening of May 9th. Although the constipation wasn't a regular thing, on that day I was hoping to have a bowel movement to relieve the pain. Not that it helped much when I finally did, though. Also had a bit of gas, but nobody can compare to Tim in that department.
So I had to miss a few segments on the last day after I had to leave during the art segment. I got back just in time to hear the finished Baka Mitai. Specifically, I arrived somewhere around 1:37:31 which meant that the first thing I heard was Lord Dona'tor's contribution. That was a nice surprise to come back to.
In which Jules cobbles together the hit song Baka Mitai as performed by the Colosseum hosts. Will he succeed or will this into a real two hour “Dame da ne” moment?
I had no idea really what this song was, but I got say, this was a great segment and it came out beautifully. Another amazing Job Jules, a worthy successor to last year, and a nice send off to this segment that as Stephen said, likely won't return for an in person Colosseum. But it was fun while it lasted and it was super exciting and special.
ocean MAN take my by the HAND lead me to the LAND that you under STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa........... (once again, this was one of my absolute favourite segments)
Manatee showed up during Dona'tor talk Radio. He's got Tom's glasses, he highjacked Tom's discord, he submitted for this segment. When will Tom just admit that he is Dona'tor....'s roommate.
Was TRGlovania properly released? I've never been able to find it anywhere. Edit: Scratch that, finally found it. It's released as "TRGalovania" by "TRG Makes Music" on YT and Spotify. Hopefully Baka Mitai joins that eventually.
The moment when Lucah's song choice was added, I lost my shit. I almost choked on my own saliva from laughing so hard. I couldn't believe how well a slowed down version of FIHA fits into Baka Mitai. And this whole segment was on a SUNDAY. Of all days!!! xD
Not that I know of. If it does get released it'll probably be on the "TRG Makes Music" channel on Spotify. There's where last year's got posted once it was ready.
They did put it up on spotify at one point but you can't play it now unfortunately, although there's this th-cam.com/video/_Ee_Q8bL8YY/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TRGMakesMusic-Topic which is basically the spotify song just on yt
_"Dame da ne, dame yo, dame na no yo..."_ Chaos and Memes are on the menu as _Twitch Makes Music_ makes its grand return... _How well did the Colosseum hosts take to the task of singing Baka Mitai? I know it's been two months but it would still be really cool to have the finished song available, even if it is just it's own youtube video, just as a way to listen to it without those last arrangements and the donation train over it.
I have two disappointments: 1) They forgot to do the Hiker Dance at $330,000, and 2) it was not actually Twitch makes music enough because the donation comments were not able to command the actual notes of the music. I did enjoy the putting together of the recordings of vocals and other sounds, but they were notes already put together by people who were not on Twitch.
I watched from 21:00 to 23:00, and I saw that they indeed did the hiker dance as soon as they opened the software back up. Sorry. I don't know what caused me to think that they did not do the hiker dance.
ugh
Pretty good 👍
This exchange was very stressful
Just wondering: Is the final version available yet? If it's not, that's fine.
This song is stupid sad, isn't it Jules?
Masae’s part gives me life.
I love how you can _feel_ the uncertainty in Stephen's voice
Stephen’s voice is truly an enigma
I swear, by this point I don't think anyone can say Jules doesn't do enough for charity and mean it.
Godspeed Jules Conroy, godspeed.
A total of $11,284 was raised throughout this whole segment.
$5,742 was raised during the last five minutes.

That wasn't Tom, that was Lord Dona'tor.

Appreciate this!!!
Back by popular demand, now with even more tape holding the song together!

How is Young Money a meme tho it’s just a company?

Fingers in his EEEEEEEESSSS with lower pitch sounds so cursed and scary at the same time xD
Along with Mal's creepy do do do
1:44:33 The finished masterpiece
“Douchy Day” Stephen 2021
HAHA 😂
_"What does this mean, actually?"_ - Stephen Georg, 2021
His part starts at around 50:41, for anyone wondering
Hey Stephen have you felt like... not so fresh?
BROTHER!
This is actually what people mean when they call it "Dame da ne" and not "Baka Mitai"
"Sticker STAAAAAAR!!!!" - Emile 2021

Hearing everyone blurt out "Da Me Da Ne" at once is true art.

I've said before on the day and multiple times since, but it bears repeating:
Masae's ridiculously wide vocal range gives me life.

Manatee showed up during Dona'tor talk Radio. He's got Tom's glasses, he highjacked Tom's discord, he submitted for this segment. When will Tom just admit that he is Dona'tor....'s roommate.
That would imply that Tom lives above Lord Dona’tio’s Pizzaria, which he does not based on his vlogs.
@@Rexaura888 Or the Lord Donatios apartment was the old location of Donator, and he recently moved in with Tom
Here’s hoping this releases on iTunes and Spotify soon like TRGlovania haha

Please dear God, give me, give me lamp. 🎶
Yes! This was my favorite segment of the whole day
Stephen George's & Sab Irene's cover of baki mitai featuring trg and mixed by Jules.
Missed oppurtunity for Jack’s mom to be ToxicXMaternity
Question: Has the final version of this song been posted anywhere yet?

This was amazing last time! Can't wait to see how it turned out this time!
Masae’s Baritone is so silk smooth.
She has that huge “Ara Ara” energy
Jules did music.... FOR CHARITY

Tbh I’m still a little disappointed he didn’t keep Tyler in the intro.
TRGalovania was probably funnier but this song is just something I would legitimately want to listen to, memes aside
Please release a version with just Tim's vocals!
Tyler's with just carlos and sab was so fucking hype
Jules and the twitch *Family* come together to make this masterpiece.
And it definitely wasn't eternally toxic.
Masae's giving me Liza Minnelli vibes with her vocals, hot damn ☆0☆
Same, she’s so good
ah... the memes
Does Sab have a full cover of Baka Mitai on youtube? If so I can't find it but I would really love to hear it
Maybe suggest it as a request next time she's live on her Twitch.
Pog
Hey Emile (Chuggaaconroy) guess what :) POOOOTS POOOOTS POOOOTS POOOOTS POOOOTS🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
